I have…read moreactually known her for 6+ years and randomly found here when I needed a photographer for a work shoot. I am so thankful that I met her and got to work with her for many years. Hiring her for my wedding was a no brainer. Her personality is a breath of fresh air if you run a little more anxious like I do. She knows how to capture the best photos even if you don't feel 100% confident in front of the camera. She's kind, patient and super funny. Her work is incredible and I couldn't recommend her more!

There are so many things I can say about how wonderful and talented she is (and the photos truly speak for themselves), but I will break down a few of my favorite qualities in the following categories: Communication: Savannah prides herself on being an excellent communicator, and I can see why! She is super responsive to email and answered all of our questions so quickly and thoroughly. We gave Savannah a few pointers about what our vision was for the location of our shoot (expansive views, nature, forest, etc.), and she came through with amazing, well-researched and thoughtful recommendations. We ultimately chose Lake Tahoe based on her suggestion! She also kept us apprised of the timeline for our photoshoot day and what to expect. After our photoshoot, she sent us sneak peaks almost immediately. We were so impressed, and obsessed over our photos for weeks! Photography: Her skills are off the charts. She captures the best, most natural moments and makes you feel incredibly comfortable while doing it (even in freezing cold weather!). If you think you or your partner may be awkward, you have nothing to worry about. She has poses ready to go so you don't have to think too much. You just get to enjoy the day while she captures the magic. She is also very receptive to your own suggestions! If there is a pose you want to try or a specific picture you want to capture, she welcomes it. Personality: Savannah is the sweetest person. We had so much fun hanging out with her leading up to, during, and after our shoot. She is extremely easy to get along with and you can tell she genuinely cares about her clients and making this the best experience for them. Her work ethic is amazing to see: she puts an enormous amount of time and effort into making your photoshoot come out perfectly, and she does this on top of her super busy schedule. She also goes above and beyond. From the beginning, she answered my millions of questions and even researched dress options for me! We honestly had so much fun during our engagement shoot that we regularly reminisce and want to go back and redo it! :) TL;DR - If you are researching adventure photographers and you don't know what to do, book Savannah ASAP! We literally could not be happier with our experience and CANNOT WAIT for her to shoot our wedding!

We say "much anticipated" because he was recommended to us by our wedding planner, "The Event Loft". And we were very happy for the recommendation. Daniel's photography captured the essence of our wedding day. He did so with sensitivity, insight and artistic interpretations of many of the important moments of our Wedding and Reception. His use of the natural, evening atmosphere illuminated with the scores of table candles and overhead market lights was spectacular! He brought even more energy to the day with the facial photographs of our family and friends. His photography artistically painted the true happiness of the day! Ultimately, Daniel delivered the finished photographs by a flash drive that was elegantly placed in a small, wooden box wrapped with a silk ribbon. We were so impressed by Daniel's simple presentation and creative capturing of the precious, fleeting moments of our Wedding and Reception. We thank Daniel for his artistic interpretations and thoughtful photography in keeping the happiest day of our lives with us forever. Recommending Daniel will always be a pleasure and an honor. He is fantastic at getting his clients to relax in front of the camera so that he can capture genuine moments between you and your loved one. My husband and I both don't feel "natural" in front of the camera, but luckily for us, Daniel is a talented photographer and pose coach rolled into one! We had an amazing time on our engagement shoot - way more fun than we thought possible. Daniel is hardworking, understanding, and very generous with his time and expertise, and even gave us feedback on other aspects of the wedding planning process. We love our wedding photos and can't wait to receive our album! Bottom line: if you're like us (what do we do with our hands??), do yourself a big favor and give Daniel a call!

It's May 2024. Finally feeling better about who I see when I look in the mirror and ready to use my…read moreremaining sessions, I emailed Camryn - no response. I texted her the following week - still no reply. The same person who was all "Hey girlfriend" in my texts in 2021 now sent a cold, canned email from her CRM: "Per our agreement, your sessions are good for one year." And she needs to stay "true to her business policies." She offered a 45-minute mini-session in her studio as a consolation for the two remaining three-hour sessions at my location (a $3k value), or she wished me well. It felt patronizing and dismissive, a stark contrast to the supportive figure I believed her to be. Let's go back to February 2021. When I first met Camryn, I was impressed. I liked her energy, and she seemed genuinely dedicated to supporting female entrepreneurs, so I was all about supporting her business. Our Zoom call was promising. Camryn outlined the package: four three-hour sessions for a $6k investment. We discussed my website launch, the shots I would need, my wardrobe, and more. However, there was no mention of session expiration--neither on the call, on her sales page, nor in any of our subsequent emails or texts. Trust me, I went back and checked to be sure I wasn't crazy. Instead, it was tucked away in the fine print of her HoneyBook contract, sent when she collected payment--a detail I missed entirely. Had I known the sessions had to be used every 90 days over the next year, I never would have purchased such a big package. As a busy business owner, new mom, and wife, I can't commit to photoshoots every quarter. Seriously, who can? I had my first session in March 2021 and another in April 2021 with my team. The pictures were great, and the website launched. For the time being, I was set. Later that year, I had a baby, gained weight, and dealt with some major postpartum blues. The last thing I wanted was to look at a camera for a while. Camryn sends marketing emails almost weekly. Yet she never sent a single reminder about the expiring sessions, which would have been a decent thing to do, knowing I had two unused sessions. Not one, "Hey girl, it's getting close to a year. Let's get you scheduled." Nope, nothing. Nada. Instead, she acted like Groupon, waiting for the deal to expire so she could take my money without delivering the service. I understand having policies, but when you offer a service with such a high investment, you should remind your clients of expiring sessions. If you have to bury it in your fine print and never speak of it directly, that's a problem. I'd never treat a client the way Camryn treated me. If she had said, "You know, I'm swamped for the next three months, but if you want to pick a Tuesday in the fall, I can help you," it would have been a different story. Be careful when choosing Camryn. It's not about finding a photographer who will tell you if you have camel toe or food in your teeth. I want to work with a decent human who treats their clients with empathy and respect. Unfortunately, that's not Camryn. If life happens, she will stick to her business fine print and hope you go away.

She's so great at helping define the vision for the shoot beforehand, and makes you feel so comfortable behind the camera.
