Again I'll say yelp reviews are more harshly critical on hotels than anything else. I can't understand all the low ratings on this Hilton. I was working in the area and chose this place simply bc it was a Hilton and that usually means something. Check in was simple due to the app. I never had to even speak to anyone at the front desk other than just a greeting. I used the digital key on my phone to access my room. It was large, clean, and very comfortable. The A/C was extra cold and I wasn't bothered by housekeeping. The only weird thing is the parking. There were signs with QR codes to scan to pay but then others were for validation and the parking seemed to be free???? It's kinda confusing to know if you should have to pay as a hotel guest or only if you're visiting the restaurant. read more

Really nice rooms -- they seem freshly updated, and it's one of the few times I've stayed somewhere where the air conditioning didn't feel suffocating or smelly. The pool setup is interesting, as it's both indoor and outdoor, separated by a rubber flap. Unfortunately, in October both sides were cold as ice! The only downside was that the door of my shower wouldn't stay closed. There are also a couple of decent food options right outside the door, including the hotel's own bar & Grill. it's also just a short drive from Six Flags, making it a convenient spot for anyone visiting the park. read more

We stayed at the Hilton Arlington on a recent trip to the area for a multi-day country music festival. We are Hilton rewards members so it was really nice to stay here on points and it was very conveniently located near the AT&T Stadium as well as other stadiums and conference centers. We were warmly welcomed and the front desk staff were very friendly! The room was clean and well decorated with a couch to sit on. The only minor issue was that the bathroom was small, although it wasn't that big of a deal. We stayed on the 15th floor and found the bed and pillows incredibly comfortable! We slept extremely well every night! We can't comment on the food since we didn't eat here during our stay. We had a drink a couple nights and their cocktails were delicious! Highly recommend this hotel! Tip: If you bring your own water bottle you can fill it up daily in the gym since they have a water dispenser. read more

My family and I stayed here over this recent weekend because we attended the AT&T Stadium for red zone games that our boys participated in. Checking in was a little difficult because I was sent the check-in instructions through the Hilton app and then once I got to the hotel the door would not open. I went downstairs and spoke to the sweet associate who was eager to assist. She was sweet enough to give me a discount code to where parking was complementary for our stay for the inconvenience. Fast forward to the next morning. We decided to dine in at the restaurant at the hotel. That was a huge mistake! Our family of six had ordered our food and a gentleman brought out two plates from the back. One of the things that was ordered was the same thing my 16-year-old had ordered so he had taken it Without realizing it belonged to another table across from us. There was another plate. The gentleman had left on the table that was not ours that was sent back after it was touched by us. About 15 minutes later, that same plate was brought out to the table next to us. The sweet lady who took our order, apologized for the mishap and said our food will be out shortly. After waiting another 30 minutes the gentleman he brought out the wrong plate before and brought out our food to a different table. After the patient at that table picked over what they wanted to keep and what they did not want to keep I stood up and told the gentleman to just cancel our order. At that time we had waited an hour for our food that we never received. Our experience at the restaurant located in the hotel was a horrific one, but that did not ruin our stay. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were soundproof. I slept great both nights we stayed and another thing I love about it is that checkout is late so if I did decide to sleep in, I would have had plenty of time to check out on time. I also brought up the situation to the gentleman at the front desk who asked me how my stay was. He seemed bothered by my experience in the hotel restaurant. He said he would bring it up to the team to address what happened. He also said he would give a complementary 5000 Hilton points for that inconvenience. I have yet to see those points but maybe they're still on their way. Anyway, I would recommend this hotel. read more

We stayed at Hilton Arlington because it is close to Globe Life Field for the My Chemical Romance concert and it ended up being perfect. The room was clean and comfortable but the bed... that bed was everything. I am still thinking about it. It swallowed me whole in the best way and I briefly considered asking if I could buy it or just live there forever. The staff was friendly and helpful, check in was easy, and the hotel restaurant surprised me with a great club sandwich. Perfect location, great food, and a bed that ruined me for all other beds. While there were some nice people, they botched my reservation and added a day to the end (and refused to remove said day) causing me to pay for a night that was never part of the original booking. I asked for ADA, and nothing i found in this establishment, except the front door, would be sufficient. I had less that an inch of clearance in the elevator and less than 2" through any door. Decent full service Hilton with meeting and party/convention space. Full service breakfast restaurant and a bar/restaurant for lunch and dinner. Small selection of local draft beers and a full bar available. On-site parking is $20 per night. Small but clean lobby leads you to the quick elevators. Rooms are nicely appointed although the bathrooms are a bit tight. Comfortable beds, plenty of desk space and the HVAC adequately keeps up with Texas summer heat. Indoor/outdoor pool was nice although a bit dirty. Good sized pool and deck area. I spent some hours out there as it was very nice. Close to AT$T but no shuttle. Good option for the area . read more

This would be the second time staying here and enjoy the convenience of the area, such as the Ball Parks, Six Flags and Texas LIVE. Each stay at this hotel has been easy check-in , easy checkout. The pool is indoor/outdoor, and it was still chilly last month, so hopefully as temps rise so will that pool temp as well. The rooms were clean, and the walls are not very thick as I could hear the neighbors wrestling next door, sounded like a tag team WWF match going on, just waited for the tag that never happened. I did report to the front desk that I had a torn chair in my room and that one of the doors was falling off the cabinet that had the TV underneath soon after checking in. That way I would not be charged for said broken items. Once reported to the front staff they understood, and the overall experience was good as one would expect. Add twenty percent to your room rate here because they charge you $20 a day to park your own car in an unsecured lot out front. And if you don't go in and register your vehicle ( yes, you have to do that) right away, they leave a warning on your windshield threatening to tow or boot the car. Don't count on getting recognized as an Honors member, or sitting quietly in an Honors lounge...they closed it a year ago. Plenty of other options on Lamar Boulevard. Great place to stay. We came for the Braves & Rangers game series & stayed here for 2nights. It was a good hotel. Staff was incredibly friendly. We arrived early from out of town and because our room wasn't ready yet, the front desk gave us $30 drink ticket to use while we waited and we were able to get 4 drinks because of happy hour. The restaurant/bar in the hotel was quiet & the ambiance was nice. I ordered a strawberry margarita & my husband got an old fashion. Both drinks were well made & strong. Happy hour had good prices & options. The hotel itself was clean. Breakfast was yummy & organized. Plenty of options for breakfast meals. The hotel has a free trolly to and from the stadium which was wonderful since we didn't want to drive and pay for parking. The trolley dropped us off right next to the stadium (across street). The wait after the game for the trolley wasn't too bad, at the end of the day; it's free lol. We did have to pay for hotel parking, but we anticipated that. There's plenty of parking options. I had a nice stay at the Hilton Arlington recently. The Hotel is a large full service establishment with a restaurant/bar and daily room cleaning service. It seems that more and more hotels now are minimizing amenities and service so it is nice to stay in a real hotel. My room was large and had a couch. My only small complaint was that the bathroom was a little small but that is minor. I was on the eleventh floor and it was quiet and I had a nice view. They have a real breakfast buffet which was very good but a bit pricey. The hotel restaurant was just okay. All in all I had a excellent stay and would recommend. read more

I don't recommend you leave any of your items laying out, they took my expensive bamboo face rag and failed to look for it to give back to me. They basically laughed and said um well file a report on ileftmystuff.com I didn't leave anything they took my item and failed to help me. Being someone who has dealt with melanoma and having to have it burned off my face the rag was a must have which I need. It had my black bamboo tag on it and was with my things and not in the bathroom and they failed to look and make sure they only grabbed their towels and rags with their Hilton tag on them. They didn't care to help me at all and could have cared less that it was taken from me by their room cleaners and I'll prolly never get my $60 face rag back. They should care more and have some morals and compassion. Thinking about filing a lawsuit against them. read more

I have been staying at this hotel for the past 20 years. Been through 3 renovations so far, and the 4th renovation is currently ongoing, various floors, various locations around the hotel. In my room 1516, the rain outside was coming inside through the windows, with the resulting wet carpet on the inside, and standing water puddling all around all window frames. The window tint was separating from the glass on all windows. I had two Queen beds. One of them had "thread-bare" sheets. The headboards were "old style" late 80's - with the cloth nailed around the surround with large round tacks. The bathroom was adequate, clean. One problem in this room (and others that I visited), is that the management changed the lamps in the room, so now the base of the new lamps, has no power outlets. Matter of fact there is only "one" outlet in the main living area that is usable for computers, etc. There is another outlet in the bathroom. Not adequate ! FYI, I was assigned two (actually three) different rooms, each of which I rejected after entry. . . . .In room 309, there were actually three missing light bulbs. When I tried to call housekeeping, I discovered that the telephone was not connected at all. So back downstairs, get a new room, room 904. Back up to 904, and as I was in the hallway approaching the room, the ice machine's (one room away) compressor was screaming so loud, it could be heard behind the door. Not conducive to sleep and rest. In my Hilton preferences (or "folio), I specifically request "no ice machine, no elevator"), and mentioned such at check-in. The "RBar" inside the hotel was clean and fun as usual, and the bartender was great! Breakfast was basic and good for a quick bite before departure - only did the buffet, not order off of the menu. The hotel housekeeping staff was superb as usual, these ladies work hard at all times, and do a great job with what they are given. Don't count on the "Hotel Van ride" to the airport or ride to any local location (nearby restaurants, ball park, etc. Van guy didn't come to work the day of my stay, and unreliable for the airport ride the next morning, since I needed an 0800 departure to DFW, but the van guy doesn't come to work until 0800, so it was an $80 Uber ride to the airport for me because of the uncertainty. The front desk staff was very nice, friendly and very inexperienced, to the point of business was hindered, and everything took extra long time to get done - room changes, etc. Again not acceptable. Also of note, at various times during my 20 hour stay, I had a need to phone the front desk, or housekeeping, or wake-up call. Nobody ever answered - ever ! Not good. (Hotel was not full or busy or otherwise, in fact the opposite, the place was pretty empty. I cannot advise my fellow travelers to use the Arlington Hilton, until, 1) the renovations are complete (wet carpets in the room unacceptable), and 2) the lack of some kind of experienced staff at the front desk is resolved. A disappointing visit for sure, and after 20 + years of staying here I have seen it all, and I just cannot recommend based on the recent experience of the past 20 hours. read more

Not really recommend. From the outside the building looks nice. The inside on numerous floors looks like under construction which they don't tell you until after you get your room. The hallways at night even after the work crews are gone look terrible. The fire door on the 10th floor was not up to code staying shut. That kept me up all night as the wind pulled it open and closed. The desk folks are nice but have no clue how to fix these things. Lastly the hallways stink. If you're not a 420 fan, this is not for you Overall. I would not stay here again. For a little more money you can try the Loews down the street. read more

Another great stay at The Hilton Arlington. From the minute we walked in I felt welcomed and at ease. The staff went out of their way to make my stay perfect and even made sure to honor my request of extra pillows so my wife and I wouldn't fight over who gets the extra one. We stayed in the newly renovated 15th floor and it was really nice. I knew this property was a bit older than other area hotels but the revamp made it seem more modern. They have an executive lounge for Hilton Honor members and a decent restaurant on site. I did enjoy a few drinks one night before turning in. I do recommend paying attention to the Cowboys home schedule when booking because you can be in for a rough night dealing with overexcited football fans at the bar and common areas. Overall I had an excellent stay and would look to return again. read more

My go to Hilton when I visit the area. Yes it might be a bit older but the overall hotel is nice and the staff is beyond amazing. They're all very personable and ensure your stay is the best it can be. Emily is a great front desk manager, Bella always knows my order for breakfast, and Zack the bartender is the coolest funniest dude and easily will be ya boyyy. They have a lounge with free pizza and beer on Wednesdays. They used to have evening reception every day prior to COVID. But they at least have snacks, soda + water, and a nice coffee machine. Breakfast used to be buffet but the made to order might good too because everything is fresh. This place makes me proud to be a diamond member at Hilton. It's like Cheers, it's a place where everyone knows your name if you come enough. Even if it's a one time visit, guarantee they will do anything to ensure you have the best time ever!!! read more

This hotel is located near Six Flags and the ball park. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Typical Hilton amenities. I found my room clean and tidy. Coffee maker with Coffee Bean coffee and real creamer. My room overlooked the pool. Refrigerator available in room. Small bathroom but served it's purpose. Ate at the bar restaurant in hotel. Reasonable prices and food was good. Service shabby but not horrible. Front desk staff nice. My only complaint is if you're using this hotel for airport service it only leaves once an hour. Not acceptable when you call yourself an airport hotel. Shuttle service needs improvement. read more

After spending this past weekend here at the Hilton. I unfortunately will not be back. There's very poor management here at this hotel. I booked my trip to Texas about two months ago. Just to make sure everything was set in stone. The day before we flew in I received an email from Joe Jennings saying that check in may be pushed back until 7pm. Our flight arrived in Texas for 8am. Now imagine having your plans & everything set back for a whole day. This is absolutely unacceptable especially when your paying top dollar for an "alright hotel". Which you booked way in advance! They didn't accommodate me in any way for this inconvenience too not to mention. Once we did get into our room our experience was okay. Housekeeping - Didn't even bother to stop to ask if we needed fresh towels. Which scares me how the rooms may be maintained. Front desk- I asked them to have a bottle of wine in room upon arrival with something saying Happy Anniversary. They didn't do that either. Fatima made sure to take care of that immediately after I had asked her. Which I highly appreciated. Bartenders from R Bar- Joe was absolutely fantastic and made our stay absolutely worth while. Friendly service and he truly made us feel at home. The food was amazing as well. Joe recommended a few dishes and was spot on! The only convenience was how close the hotel was to the stadiums. The shuttle was also a big help getting to and from the game. I just think things should have been taken care of in a much more professional matter. Tons of people said how disappointing there stay was. Not getting a room after paying for it. Then not being able to check in at 3:00 because THEY overbooked. The dollar seems much more important then the overall care for the customer goes. I would recommend staying elsewhere. read more

An older Hilton, but it appears as though it went through a recent renovation. Unlike a lot of older hotels, they didn't do a cheap facelift, but the reno was done right. PROS: -Free Parking -Decent workout room -Large indoor/outdoor pool -Executive lounge, for those of us who are Gold/Diamond members (Free coffee & water bottles) -Free full service breakfast for Gold/Diamond members (and it was actually really good) -Good location, close to stadiums, several restaurants & bars -Comfy bed, and updated room CONS: -One of my biggest pet peeves is that there are only CNN and liberal MSNBC on the restaurant and common area tvs. Why hotels decide to alienate 50% of their guests is the dumbest business move on the planet. What's next- are they going to put us in less desirable rooms as well? Please, accommodate ALL guests! I'd return- and just like last time, I will ask for the bartender to change the channel (he obliged), and I will change the tv channel in the workout room too. read more

Great hotel for what I was looking for in a full service hotel. The rooms were clean and the amenities were great. However, the reason for the 2 stars is based on my experience at the hotel bar. The first night I came down to get an order of wings and have my wine opened since I didn't have a corkscrew. They staff was courteous, professional and handled my order without incident. I was in fact happy, when an respectable black family cane with there two underaged children (ages 10-12) were told that the children could not sit at the bar. Makes sense. They asked the children to sit at a table while they ordered their meal to take to the room. The next day (today, as I write) I went to the bar to order a drink and meal and enjoy the various sports games only to see two Caucasian children not only sitting at the bar but drinking (probably Shirley temples) but also eating their meals right at the bar. I don't think children belong at a bar and I am more disgusted that the African American children had to sit at the table, but it seemed perfectly acceptable for the two white kids aged 6-10 to sit and enjoy a drink and a meal. I couldn't help but think of what privilege made the difference in these two situations. Children should not be allowed to sit at a bar in which alcohol is served but my witnessing of how these two families were treated was a reminder of the world I live in. read more

I went to the front desk to ask for bottle water and was told to go around the corner to the small store. No water, when I asked the attendant she directed me to go down the hall to the restaurant. Recent stay at Hilton Arlington. Here are pictures of the furniture of my $420.00 a night room!! I have stayed at Hilton properties for decades, never have I stayed or seen such a run down Hilton as this one. The furniture as seen in pics stained, used and unsanitary. Toilet ran half the night, needed a new stopper. If this room was a 69.99 a night room, get what you pay for. It was NOT!! I paid $420.00 a night for this room! To add insult to injury I was told that other rooms had been updated, if I return one day I can be assured I get one of those rooms!! To understand correctly other rooms are clean and nice (supposedly) yet I am charged the same price for a dirty unsanitary room! That is nuts!! No I will never return to this hotel in my lifetime waste my hard earned money. I will also insure my company no longer books any business meetings at Hilton properties in the future.
