I had the seared Ahi tuna salad and my wife had the fried chicken sandwich; both were fantastic. The charcuterie board was amazing, and the bread baskets were just as good. Bre took care of us as our waitress with service that went above and beyond, Sarah the restaurant and hotel manager made sure every detail was perfect, and Analise at the front desk was attentive and gracious throughout. Afterward, I headed back across the street where Isabel gave me a manicure and pedicure that left me feeling relaxed, confident, and genuinely happy. Serena, the other technician on site, brought that same level of care and attentiveness to her own client. These ladies both provide a level of service that is elevated and grounded in intention. On my way out, receptionists Sarah and Isabel made sure everything had been wonderful and that all of my needs were met-the perfect ending to an already perfect day. Came back up to our rooms to get our things went back down and it was a little after 7 and it was finally open. Our room: 338, to be honest was very dirty. The entry way hard flooring was crazy sticky. The wall next to one of the beds has a teeth whitening strip stuck to the wall. Bathroom floor was dirty, looked like someone had walked in there with dirty shoes, there were shoe prints. Also found someone's dried contact lens stuck to the counter. Our toilet wouldn't flush the first day so someone had to come fix that And our door was a little janky, sometimes it opened if you pulled the handle down, or sometimes it wouldn't budge and you'd have to pull up with a little jiggle. Actually saw a woman in the hall who was also confused why her key card was registering but the door wasn't opening, gave her the same advice they gave me at the front desk when I thought I was locked out, and that was to lift up and jiggle. Also the halls smelled of weed often. We ended up with a conjoined room and I woke up in the middle of the night to my room also smelling like weed.

The employees at the front desk especially tried to make sure my party had what we needed. Texas hospitality here was top tier. The rooms were as expected though I do feel the decor and heating/cooling system could have been better. The most important point is that I felt safe staying at this location and wouldn't mind recommending it to others.

La Quinta was a much nicer experience, for only about $20 more per night. But keep in mind Studio 6 was a studio, so had a mini kitchen. We were in our room for about 15 minutes when the phone rang. It was the front desk asking if everything was OK. Nice touch, and it was. Also worth noting is that La Quinta includes breakfast. Our early morning appointment meant we would miss out, but I'd bet we could not get breakfast and coffee, fo two, in Arlington. Only the bathroom showed the age of the hotel. Caulking along the floor, and back of the door, was a little rough... But there was shampoo (if you read the Studio 6 reviews), so that's another win. Bottom: Would definitely spend the night here again, and hopefully be able to stay for breakfast.

Like what the other reviews said, it is true that this hotel is a bit outdated. Many of the furniture is old, and the walls are bleak and devoided of personalization and color. The mattress isn't of the best quality but I actually like that they provided a lot of pillows; even more so than other quality hotels like Hyatt. Their elevators are old as well, and the hallway of Floor 3 where I stayed at was warm. Thankfully there's running AC inside the room. I stayed in a King bed suite; everything was brilliant. Toiletries were provided, trash cans were empty, and the rest of the room was clean. There was also complimentary breakfast; huge variety of food and drinks. From waffles, bagels, slice bread, cereal, eggs, sausages, potatoes, oatmeal to apple juice, orange juice, cranberry juice and milk. Breakfast gets served between 6AM to 9AM. Check out time is at 12PM. Not the greatest hotel experience of all time but this is a good enough hotel for anyone looking for a quick stay.
