I had the seared Ahi tuna salad and my wife had the fried chicken sandwich; both were fantastic. The charcuterie board was amazing, and the bread baskets were just as good. Bre took care of us as our waitress with service that went above and beyond, Sarah the restaurant and hotel manager made sure every detail was perfect, and Analise at the front desk was attentive and gracious throughout. Afterward, I headed back across the street where Isabel gave me a manicure and pedicure that left me feeling relaxed, confident, and genuinely happy. Serena, the other technician on site, brought that same level of care and attentiveness to her own client. These ladies both provide a level of service that is elevated and grounded in intention. On my way out, receptionists Sarah and Isabel made sure everything had been wonderful and that all of my needs were met-the perfect ending to an already perfect day. My son accidentally broke a glass and the staff made the situation a minor ding on our experience. They were so sweet and brought him a styrofoam cup to drink from. It was about 630 and we came down to find something to eat at the restaurant but no one was at the bar and no one in the restaurant, in fact the lights were off in the restaurant seating area so I kind of just sat around and waited to see if anyone would show up, keep in mind it says it opened at 4:00. After waiting a while and finally ordering DoorDash a man finally showed up asking if I was good. Next morning the soccer team we're here with was all going to meet for breakfast down stairs at 6:30 as the restaurant has a sign that says breakfast buffet open at 6:30. We all went down and no one was there and it wasn't open. Team waited for about 30 minutes but we needed to leave to head to the fields. Came back up to our rooms to get our things went back down and it was a little after 7 and it was finally open. Our room: 338, to be honest was very dirty. The entry way hard flooring was crazy sticky. The wall next to one of the beds has a teeth whitening strip stuck to the wall. Bathroom floor was dirty, looked like someone had walked in there with dirty shoes, there were shoe prints. Also found someone's dried contact lens stuck to the counter. Our toilet wouldn't flush the first day so someone had to come fix that And our door was a little janky, sometimes it opened if you pulled the handle down, or sometimes it wouldn't budge and you'd have to pull up with a little jiggle. Actually saw a woman in the hall who was also confused why her key card was registering but the door wasn't opening, gave her the same advice they gave me at the front desk when I thought I was locked out, and that was to lift up and jiggle. Also the halls smelled of weed often. We ended up with a conjoined room and I woke up in the middle of the night to my room also smelling like weed.

La Quinta was a much nicer experience, for only about $20 more per night. But keep in mind Studio 6 was a studio, so had a mini kitchen. We were in our room for about 15 minutes when the phone rang. It was the front desk asking if everything was OK. Nice touch, and it was. Also worth noting is that La Quinta includes breakfast. Our early morning appointment meant we would miss out, but I'd bet we could not get breakfast and coffee, fo two, in Arlington. Only the bathroom showed the age of the hotel. Caulking along the floor, and back of the door, was a little rough... But there was shampoo (if you read the Studio 6 reviews), so that's another win. The breakfast choices were adequate with various hot and cold choices; the Texas-shaped waffles are a nice addition. The staff is friendly and helpful for the most part. My only complaint with this facility is that we were here during the bad ice storms in Dallas but the parking lot was a complete sheet of ice, so we were slipping and sliding continually trying to get to our car. No ice/snow mitigation was ever done by the staff to make the parking lot more safe, especially when trying to bring in luggage. I know that this kind of cold weather isn't usual for Texas, but I think the staff could've made more of an effort for customer safety.
