My car was broken into and the door was damaged by the jerk doing it. My insurance recommended Hilton Auto Collision for the repair. I am so glad I took my car to Hilton. These guys were great. They showed me how the door was damaged and what needed repair. I missed small details that would have made the car look bad if those were not fixed. I paid a little extra to have the whole car buffed out while it was in the shop. They fixed the car fast and did a fantastic job. My car is sixteen years old but now it looks like it came off the show room. You can not see any work was done. Wow! Onik and his team of professionals are awesome!! I cracked the hard top on my 2017 Jeep JKU while descending down "Gold Mountain" near Big Bear. The crack split the top near the rear passenger side pillar. At that area, the hard top has two distinct layers and the split was so severe it went clean thru both layers. I first asked the dealership that built the beastly (heavily modified AEV) jeep and their answer was to purchase a new top. A couple of other body shops also recommended purchasing a new top - stating they don't do fiberglass. I randomly drove into Hilton Auto Collision Center. What a lucky turn! On the wall, a sign clearly indicated they perform "fiberglass" repairs. Befriended by so many beautiful Armenian people in my life, once I met Onik I knew I was going to be treated like family! He greeted me warmly, took a look at the damage. He explained to me the time and process (including the use of an appropriate "SMK" product - as the top requires). He is extremely professional and organized. We agreed upon a time for me to drop off the top. Right on schedule (about 7 days later), Onik called and said the top was complete. Completed and painted, you can't even tell. Its a Beautiful job! Meanwhile, he surprised me with pictures of the process. They clearly show how strong the repair will prove (though I don't think I plan on descending "Gold Mountain" again with quite the same vigor...lol...). I should revise this later with a picture of the finished top. That will need to wait as the top is safely secured on a hoist in the garage - its summer and the soft top is being sported around the woods:) For all of you rock crawlers out there that believe breaking parts is proof that you are trying hard or for anyone else that needs collision repair work on your ride, keep Hilton Auto Collision Center in mind and make sure you ask for Onik! read more

I have been getting car taken care of there for over 20 years. Igor is fantastic and his staff knows what they're doing. I was sent to his business by my insurance company when he was still in Burbank. I got lucky. I have brought every car I've owned to his body shop as I know it will be taken care of in a professional way. I won't have to worry about shoddy work or having to go back in a day or two because something wasn't done right. I highly recommend taking your vehicles there for body work. A friend referred me to this business, and to Igor Frank, to give my 1997 Dodge truck some much needed care and after the initial conversation I was confident with leaving my vehicle in their care. I had needed a complete redo for the finish of my truck plus a little damage along the driver side, I have another car so time wasn't pressing to get this project done so I said to take their time but I'd like to visit the "patient" to see the progress. Igor thought this was funny as everyone else did not wish to see their vehicle taken apart, haha! I said I enjoy the process, the transformation, and, if he could send me a picture now and then I'd appreciate it. After an 8 week stay my truck was ready for pick up! I arrived and it was all pristine again! Hilton did an awesome job and seeing the progress along the way I was up to date with any decisions that needed attention, I think the pics will speak for themselves! Sort of an odd experience, but they did great work. The negotiation consisted of the guy saying "Let's talk honest like men, how much do you want to pay?" I said as little as possible. So, he asked me how much my insurance had reimbursed me and I said $1000. He agreed to fix it for $1000 so that was that. While I waited to fill out paperwork, I chatted with the boss. When he found out I was an oceanographer he proceeded to tell me why global warming was a hoax. I disagreed. Then he talked about how great the Arizona immigration laws were. I disagreed. Then he said how he didn't think Obama had done enough to merit a Nobel Peace Prize. We could agree on that. Despite the odd interactions, I actually really liked these guys. They were very kind and straightforward and easy to communicate with. For price, I paid less than half the amount quoted by the place down the road ($2200), and also less than half the cost estimated by my insurance (also $2200). The car looks brand new, and the cost was exactly $1000 as promised. (No tax no fees, just 10 crisp benjamins!) read more

I rubbed the side of my car against a pole in a parking lot and dented the front fender and bumper. I took the car to the shop and they gave me a car to drive for just over a week while they fixed my car (at no cost to me). I didn't have rental car reimbursement so this saved me a bunch of money. They found a little damage under my bumper that the insurance inspector didn't see. They handled everything for me and had esurance come out a give another estimate. I didn't have to do a thing. After getting my car back I am extremely happy with the results. The car looks brand new. Also, before claiming it on insurance I called a couple placed to get quote estimates and Hilton was the cheapest, that was why I ended up going there, even after getting my insurance involved. I was told that the company is under new management as of a few months ago. I read a bad review on yelp, but I guess the owner has changed since then. I was recommended this place by a friend of the owner who said they had been there and got great service. I had a small accident from someone backing into me with just some paint chipped off my front bumper and plastic raised up because the car back into me so hard. If my Civic wasn't almost brand new, I probably wouldn't have made such a big deal out of it with the person that hit me. It was a tiny small sand job with some paint, the manager gave me a quote of $250 all seemed well. I came back with the person that hit me to pay for it and the owner said they would never quote something that low, it was atleast a $350 job. I had it written on an official estimate though and was the only reason I came back to this place. After the manager and owner arguing over it and then getting us heated the person that hit me just agreed to pay for it and get the hell out of there. It was the holidays for Pete's sake, who does a bait and switch over the holidays? Glad I see theres atleast some other good shops in Pasadena that Yelp can recommend though. read more

This is not your typical repair shop. Super clean and very friendly. The owner is a Euro type gentleman who makes a point of dressing well and smelling good. The front office seemed to be run very well and I felt that my car was in good hands. The accident occured a week before Christmas last year and I thought for sure that I would not have my car back in time for the Holidays. I mentioned this to Frank( owner) and Onick ( manager). They were very sympathetic and said they would do their best to have my car ready. Even though there were 3 different insurance companies involved in the repairs,( I was rear ended by 2 different cars) I was still able to get my car back before Christmas. I was pleased with the work done on my car and pleased with the constant feedback and status updated I got from Hilton. I would definately recommend these guys. read more

If I could give them 0 or -1 stars I would. Dealing with these guys has been an absolute nightmare, and I don't want anyone to go through what they have put me through. I passed by several auto body repair shops and stopped at this one. That was my first mistake fellow yelpers. I took my vehicle for some major repairs due a collision, but wanted to keep insurance out of it. Shop owner Frank advised me that I could use after market parts if necessary to keep costs low. He lied. He also assured me that I could finance the remaining balance. More lies. I asked Frank to provide a contract stating such. He declined, and stated that he would draft up a contract upon completion of job. I adamantly suggested signing something at that moment, and again he declined. I documented the details of our conversation, and let him know that a contract was now in place. He agreed, but I don't think that meant anything to him. He gave me a bad feeling upon our first contact. I attributed it to cultural diversity and his age. An employee at the shop told me "that is his character." (his exact words) After market parts were purchased, delivered. The shop received and inspected parts and said there would be no problem. Two days before delivery (which was 3 days after the promised completion date) Frank informed me that he could not use all after market parts. I asked how will this affect the completion date and cost. Frank assured me the job would still cost the amount on my revised estimate. He said there would be no delays, or price increase as a result of getting parts from his vendor. Lies. Later that same evening, he called again, demanded a copy of the invoice for the after market parts I purchased, refused to return my vehicle, and after market parts, breached our verbal agreement with regard to financing the balance and demanded payment in full. He lied again, that is his character. It doesn't end there. I begged relatives, and was able to come up with the full amount two days later. Ironically, Frank then agreed to setting up payment plan. This was because he was able to inflate the cost of the repairs by refusing to use the parts I purchased. He lied, again. I looked over the itemized statement and noticed that the price of some parts DOUBLED from the initial estimate. When I called Frank out on this, he made condescending remarks, and said the shop manager made a mistake at first, used the wrong part, and this new price was the actual part required. Another lie. He agreed to the payment plan with the new amount. Frank stated that he would draw up a promissory note, which would be ready to sign at the time of pickup of vehicle. No. I made Frank highlight the terms of our agreement in writing, down to the last penny owed. He wrote on the estimate: the total of repairs, the amount I had paid as a deposit, the remaining balance to be paid upon pickup of vehicle, and the monthly amount to be paid over several months. I have it here in black and white. His writing. But he lies, so... On the day of promised delivery, Frank sent a text message requesting personal information to draw up the promissory note. Ordinarily, this makes sense. But Frank is not ordinary and he is untrustworthy. He even went as far as contacting my employer (not corporate, but the actual branch where I work) to verify my employment and earnings with a receptionist; without my consent. When this came to my attention, I called Frank and he insisted that he would not honor the terms of our previous agreement without this information. My vehicle is currently being held hostage at the shop, even though I am prepared to comply with the terms of our recent agreement; regardless of how unfair it is. I have already contacted the Bureau of Automotive Repairs, a private attorney, and I will contact the police to document the incident to better prepare my case in court. Frank (if that is his name) is a dishonest man. Out of curiosity, I walked up and down Walnut St, and asked other collision repair shops about the integrity and reputation of Hilton Auto Collision. Not one shop had anything positive to say. All shops seemed to have respect for each other, even thought they are competitors. No one had nice remarks about Frank and his method of business. "We get people coming in here to fix their mistakes, all the time," one shop informed me. At another shop, I learned that Hilton Auto has been struggling financially for a few years, and Frank had the business up for sale. Frank makes claims that his health is declining, and this could be his motivation for taking advantage of people who would otherwise be loyal customers to his competition. Would you want a friend or family member to enjoy this experience? Avoid this place like the plague. Frank and his lack of ethics will cause unnecessary and undeserving stress for what is already a stressful ordeal. read more

I recently had some major damage to my car and had to get the entire thing stripped down and repainted. It looks like a brand new car! The owner and manager here are probably the nicest people in the business, they will take great care of you and your car. Most people in this business seem more interested in getting your money and feeding you a bunch of BS, but these guys really genuinely care about you and your car. Because of the extensive damage to my car, it was in their shop for nearly a month. Onik was great about communication, he would send me an email update at least once a week with pictures. When I got the car back , it looked great. I noticed a few minor things such as the trunk lid catching and something rattling in one of the doors after driving the car a few days, but I brought it back and they took care of it quickly and easily. I also previously had my car in this shop for minor damage a few years back. They gave me an estimate nearly 33% lower than all the other shops (I was paying for that one out of pocket) and they did a really great job with that as well. Because of that experience, I did not hesitate to take it here when I needed major work done. If you get in an accident or need any sort of body work or paint work for your car, don't hesitate to take it here! read more

At Hilton I got it done for $1,200. I met with the manager (Onik) and the owner (Igor). I found them to be honest and sincere. Onik told me that the car would be ready in 4 days and he got the job done in 3. The quality of the work is excellent, it is like new. A day later Igor called me to thank me for the business and to see if I was satisfied. These guys go above and beyond. Take your car to them and you will not be disappointed. read more

I just had my car repaired at Hilton Auto. My new little Lexus was barely a year old when I crunched it getting out of my parking garage. I had succumbed to a parking lot troll, and though he did a passable job, it wasn't perfect. I got several quotes (and lectures) from various body shops. Onik gave me a price I couldn't resist. Before I dropped my car there I went back several times to insure he would be good for his estimate. He assured me that was the price and it would be perfect. When it came time to pick it up, it wasn't perfect. I felt terrible pointing it out, since his price was so reasonable. He was extremely gracious about the mistake and asked for 1 more day to fix it. when I came back a day later at the appointed time, it was, indeed perfect. and he charged me exactly what he promised. I paid with a credit card, and even though it was clearly posted that they charged a service change, which I was fine with, he charged me exactly what he promised, and not a penny more. Hilton Auto Body does not perform the work that is required by the Insurance Companies they order the parts, body panels and never install them they repair the old damaged panels and pocket the difference. They work on vehicles without authorization and tell your insurance company they must pay for their crappy work. The paint work is subpar and their body work is just as bad... I wont go into the issues with Insurance adjusters and pay to play ...... But don't take my word for it just walk into the shop you can see the ordered body panels that they bought and never used. This shop is connected to various organizations which should be investigated... Stay far away from this shop. read more
