If I could give less than a star I would. The customer service I received from the owner, Jim, is shocking. After my wreck Geico recommended this place saying they "partner" with Sidles. When I arrived to pick up the car a rep said look at the car and sign here. I requested that he go over the list ($6000) worth of damage internally and externally. He rambled through the upside down list behind a glass window pane. I requested that he turn it around so that I can read it as well. I asked if he could pop the hood and show me the internal parts of the car he's referring to. He acted annoyed and then agreed. He literally said this is your radiator, this is your grill and we did some stuff over here. Then the owner, Jim, comes out and says "start her car." It doesn't start. He has someone jump it. I say "My car had a battery issue before the wreck and since it's been sitting I actually may need a new battery." (He did allow me 3 extra business days to pick it up/ pay my deductible). I said "When I'm parked I cannot leave the radio or lights on it will go dead." He replies "That happens to me too in my Honda." Like that's going to make me feel better - the owner of the shop has the same prob w/ his own car not starting. I said I have to go to a mtg far away from home tonight that gets out at 10p and I don't want to be left stranded." He says "Aren't you part of an Automotive club? They'll come bring you a battery." I imply "I really don't want to take that chance." He then says "Go to Autozone across the street. They will test it for free and you can get a battery there." The guy with the list disappears. We were only on page 1. The owner says "Leave the car running." I said "How much gas is in it?" He says "It's on e." So this guy, owner of the shop, doesn't care if I run out of gas or battery after bringing him $6000 worth of work. I go inside and ask the guy with the list if he could please continue (as they leave my car on e running). He tells me this is how you read this list (in this column yada yada) and you have a lifetime guarantee on this work so you're fine" and hands it to me to read later. I realize despite asking 5 times this guy is NOT going to thoroughly go over this list with me. The Geico auto adjuster is nowhere to be found nor did he call regarding my car being ready. I signed the paperwork and decide to call Geico and just deal with it with them. They did allow me to use the restroom lol. Then I left so upset that I almost got into another wreck. I contacted Geico and they were appalled. Because the owner's bedside manner was so horrific I felt the need to express it. I literally have never received that level of insultingly poor customer service from an owner of any establishment anywhere. The car looks good on the outside but, I have no faith in the internal work. I wouldn't trust that guy to repair a Tonka toy car. read more

Thanks to Eric and the guys for making my baby look brand new again. My car is one of my biggest investments and I am very particular of who works on it. I appreciated all of the great service from the staff at Sidles, they really made the entire process quick and simple for me. This is my first review on yelp because I just had an amazing experience @ Sidles. I pulled out of my own parking spot a little too quickly this morning and scraped the stucco edge with the pretty, shiny light blue metal of my beautiful new BMW.. INSTANT FREAK OUT. The stucco wall damaged the side a bit, and as worrisome as I was like a first time mother with her kid's first real emergency "ouch", I didn't have time to look on line and took my chances going to the first auto shop I saw driving down the street. Let me just tell you the rest. A young lady in front desk greeted me as soon as I came in, and right away she began to check out my car as I described to her what happened. She was very attentive, and after evaluating my baby's "boo boo", she gave me a great quote and offered to fix it pronto. From the very beginning, the customer service here was top notch, and I felt that my car was good hands the more I got to know the team. When I signed papers releasing the car, I met the owner and he's probably one of the nicest, most professional people I've ever met. I got a real sense of honesty and integrity from everyone I spoke with, and when I got my baby back, I couldn't believe it. My little accident looks like it never happened and the work is just flawless. I've cruised down the rest of the street plenty of times after my run-in, and I've noticed something about Sidles No other shop in the "Auto District" of Pico blvd. between Doheny Dr and La La Brea comes close to the professional physical outlook of the Sidle's: their sign is a standout, there is plenty of parking space in the front, and when you go inside, the wall is covered with certifications and recognitions of the good work they do. I received great service right off the bat, and in addition, the shop was super clean, and I really liked that. In conclusion, I'm at a complete loss for words on why this place doesn't have the most five star reviews in the area. Yelpers, I hope this review compensates for the missing ones, as well as that bad one, as I can't recommend this place highly enough. I thank God I found this place. I could have easily been taken advantage of (seriously, I know NOTHING about cars) and I ended up walking out incredibly relieved that I met such an experienced, stellar team that does such excellent service. I went to Sidle's because I was on a car accident and this was one of the places my insurance provided. I chose them because they had great reviews and also because they are walking distance from my house. I honestly was expecting them to be as any other repair shop (or at least the ones I had experience with), and I have to say I was 100% wrong. As soon as my insurance gave me the go ahead I called them, and they said to take it in for an inspection. Jerry, their estimator, greeted me and we went through the damage on my car. I asked him to quote me separately other damage I had in my car to see if it was worth repairing (since I'm about to return my lease). I loved Jerry's honesty, he gave me a ballpark and did not try at all to sell me anything ... I was shockingly surprised. He recommended me to go to my dealer and ask them how much it would cost and gave me some tips. I have to say it was a first good impression. Then I was given a fairly quick appointment, even though there was a holiday coming up. When I asked how long the repair would take Jerry told me about a week and a half... internally I thought "probably between 2 to 3 weeks, then...". Again 100% wrong! I received emails and phone calls from Jerry letting me the status of my car after a couple of days, then when it was about 2 days to be the week and a half, he called me again asking if it was ok to delay it only 2 days! To me this was heaven! The last shop I took my car to, not only they took way longer than promised (2 weeks more), but would also not communicate with me. The day I was supposed to go pick up my car they called me to remind me. Since it was not an easy day for me I did not go, the next business day I received another call to make sure I knew my car was ready ... they were actually concerned about me! Another huge point under my list. And lastly, when I arrived to pick up my car with my 4 year old: my car was spotless, they treated my son with so much joy, and best of all, you can not identify where my car was damaged! I wish I had the pictures of before and after to post. Honestly I highly recommend this place, and if you have the luck to work with Jerry Acuna, you'll feel that you are treating with someone that cares for you and your needs. I recently had an unfortunate experience with Sidle's Automotive that left me feeling frustrated and thoroughly dissatisfied. Despite their initial promise to take care of everything, their poor customer service and failure to fulfill their commitments have left me with a bitter taste in my mouth. In February, I entrusted Sidle's Automotive with repairing my Benz after they caused an additional issue during a previous repair. The process began on a hopeful note as Eric assured me that they would cover the rental expenses with Enterprise while my car was being repaired. The manager, Eric, confidently assured me that I wouldn't have to pay a dime out of pocket since they were at fault for the problem with my car. Moreover, Sidle's Automotive had already received the total payout from the insurance company for the repairs. However, my hopes were dashed and my frustration grew over the next three months. To my surprise and disbelief, I received a charge of $200.20 from Enterprise, indicating that Sidle's Automotive had flatly refused to pay for the promised rental. This was a clear breach of their agreement and a complete disregard for their responsibility for causing the issue in the first place. The entire experience with Sidle's Automotive has been nothing short of a nightmare. Not only did they create an additional problem with my car, but they also failed to take responsibility for it, leaving me to foot the bill for their mistake. Their lack of integrity and poor customer service has left me with a strong sense of betrayal. I strongly advise anyone seeking reliable auto body repair services to steer clear of Sidle's Automotive. Their broken promises, poor customer service, and unwillingness to rectify their mistakes demonstrate a lack of professionalism and integrity. It is evident that they prioritize their own financial gain over the satisfaction and well-being of their customers. Was referred to this shop by my AAA agent. Unfortunately, i commute everyday back and forth from LA to the Inland Empire. When you drive as much as i do, its not a matter of if but when an accident is going to happen. As stressful as sorting out the incident with my insurance i also had to bring my car in and deal with an unfamiliar body shop. I came in for an estimate and right away I saw that this body shop was not the nightmare i had previously envisioned. Rather it looks almost like a sort of doctors office its so clean and well-maintained. The two secretaries were extremely personable and i was helped immediately. The estimator and i had a long talk about all of my concerns (i had rear ended someone and was nervous for the radiator and my car possibly overheating) and i really did feel that although i don't know much about cars my concerns were taken seriously. Since i have a rental plan through my insurance i had decided to drop my car off that day. They were nice enough to arrange for someone to pick me up. I signed a couple papers and while i waited they brewed me some fresh coffee! I was so worn out that it really was an appreciated gesture. About a day later they contacted me let me know that i was right, unfortunately, about my radiator and that i would need a new one. However, they told me they would be shipping the part express and it would be there that day and they still hoped to get me the car by the beginning of the following week. They kept their word and on Monday i came in to pick it up. And how beautiful my car was! I notice a couple scratches and knicks i had before the accident were no longer there and the manager told me he also threw in a detail and wash! My car was better than before and it runs perfectly. Not only was i happy to get that whole ordeal over with but i was relieved it wasn't as annoying or difficult as i had previously thought. read more

Oh my God, if you love your car, don't go anywhere else. My 2016 Hyberblue STI is one of only 700 in the US. It was smashed to pieces in a not-at-fault accident and everyone told me it was totaled. Not only did Dmitry and Ruben manage to save it, it's ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL. Everyone says don't trust a car after an accident, but with this level of work and their reassurance about it's safety, I plan on keeping this car for the rest of my life. They gave me frequent updates, took initiative, and made sure that the car was repaired right from the ground up. Any issues that came up Dmitry was SO responsive and made me feel like I was family, not just a customer. I even went and visited the shop a few times just because I like them so much! They got my car back to me a full month less than expected, even having had to overnight parts from Japan. I have so much piece of mind knowing that my baby was fixed right, and that they stand behind their work. They went above and beyond in ways no mechanic shop has ever done. Recommended to me by AAA after my car was smashed into by another driver. AAA told me that Sidle's was on their list of accepted and approved auto body repair shops which meant it would be easier and quicker to get approval for repairs. And it was!! I called Sidle's and was assigned a representative, Jim Frucht, who take care of everything. He was efficient and attentive. When I arrived he sat down with me and explained the process. Worked up an estimate, took care of all the insurance requirements, and explained clearly what needed to be done and how long everything would take. He gave me regular updates on the progress of the repairs. And most importantly the car looks great. All in all it was a very positive experience. read more

I had to use Sidle's last year to correct the work of another body shop that did a horrible job repairing my BMW. This time they worked on damage from a small accident on my 2016 Mini Cooper. Dimitri was extremely communicative throughout the process, giving me updates and letting me know what was going on during every step of the repair. He is the best! I had to bring the car in over the holidays and Val at the front desk was extremely helpful in getting me a rental car when I couldn't find one on my own from any rental company. In the past 3 years I've had to bring two different vehicles to them after fender benders and have always received high quality treatment and work. I'm very particular about quality control and they always meet my expectations. The shop manager Kyle streamlines the process, making it hassle free and time efficient, never any run around and a pleasure to work with. The owner of the shop is always classy and delivers on time.
