I was a frequent guest of this hotel when it was the "Beach Resort." Now it's been renovated and rebranded as the "Beach House." They did a very nice job with the renovation. The lobby got a great makeover and the updated room had a fresh and modern look. This time we splurged and got a Presidential 3BR suite and it was gorgeous. The room had a massive wrap around balcony and the view from there and the room itself was absolutely amazing. Though, our stay was not without its issues such as recurring AC problems. Luckily the staff was attentive and fixed the issue after some time. If I could offer any feedback on our experience, it would be to put some key essentials in the room. We had a full size kitchen but there were no paper towels, dish towels, dish soap, dishwasher tablets, sponges, or even basic things like salt and pepper. The bathrooms too didn't have hand soap, an adequate amount of body wash, or even a place to hang towels. Another concern I plan to mention to management was the fact that people were throwing things from the rooftop lounge down onto our balcony, including straws, drink stirrers, food and, worryingly, a knife. If anyone would have been sitting on the deck when the knife was thrown it could have been a major issue. In the end, the room was absolutely breathtaking. I visited the Beach House with a couple friends who were staying at the Hilton. I was greeted by a friendly employee showing me the cold water and sunscreen they offer. What a great idea to have sunscreen because some people might forget it. The atmosphere at the Beach House is beachy and vibrant. They brought in a huge TV to show the soccer game. The pool was relaxing and refreshing. I ordered a pina colada which was a bit sweet The server was friendly. This is a nice place yo retreat from the hustle and bustle of South Florida. Came here post cruise and must say I really enjoyed my stay here. The room I had had two queen beds and was more like a studio with a complete kitchen. Everything was fantastic except wish the shower was a bit larger and there was no clothes line to hang bathing suits. Queen beds were nice and soft and what a view! The pool area had one pool and two hot tubs, Man it was nice! Hard to find seats though, so do come early. Had the most relaxing time there and my girl didn't want to leave. It was heated for my January visit and ate lunch there too. Nothing to write home about and is $, but can you expect from a resort. The beach was across the street and as part of your resort fee, it includes two loungers and umbrella. Score! Unlike other resorts that you have to pay (like Marriott Harbor Beach). Wish had more time to enjoy the beach, but went right back up to the pool. Main breakfast restaurant doesn't offer buffet so it's Ala carte menu and it sure did take some time to get our food. It was good but pricey. They have a market at the lobby, so that's a good alternative. The uber from port to here wasn't cheap though same with going to airport, but highly recommend for those seeking a nice resort vibe with oceanfront views and beach access. read more

It is BRIGHT LED that strobes every 1 minute. Try that in a dark room when you are trying to sleep... Hilton Corporate made it worse by only giving a customer care number off (800)446-6677 that does not answer, take messages or give a email address option. We stayed here for the weekend and we had a very pleasant stay. The staff who work in the reception were all very pleasant, especially Patrice who checked us in. He was great! We stayed in room 1116, it was a corner room with a nice view of the beach. The room was a good size and I really like the bathroom layout. There was a microwave, small fridge, and stove top which is great if you are having a long stay and want to heat up or make food. The location was very convenient and right across from the beach. The hotel has many amenities including a spa, pool, restaurants and a rooftop bar. The resort fee gets you beach chairs and towels. Some minor complaints we had were related to the wait times for the elevators. There are 4 elevators but one is designated to the rooftop bar. Besides the elevators, we really enjoyed our brief stay here. read more

This is our first time to stay here at the beach house and we well not hesitate to return. The staff are amazing. Everyone is friendly and helpful and has a smile on their face. The facilities are spotless. Our Ocean view suite was immaculate. I looked and still could not find anything to complain about. The lobby bar, Barto, is a million times better than the rooftop bar. Beautiful hotel with a nice, big, accommodating room! We stayed on floor 6, room 603 to be exact. The back sliding glass door leads to a large back patio that will open up to a large pathway to the pool. The pool was great too. The hotel is directly across from the beach. My only issue is that the floor was a bit noisy with people leaving the pool and/or restaurant in the evening, and our room kept making weird noises during the wee hours of the night. Like the ac vent would tick and the mini fridge in the living area made a noise like a broken dish sound that would wake me up EVERYTIME it would kick on. Other than that, we would definitely stay here again. Staff is super friendly. Hotel is clean. read more

1 star This is our third visit, and sadly, it will probably be our last. The last time we stayed here was in 2021, and I can't believe how much this property has declined. We had such great memories of this hotel, but this visit has been a huge disappointment. The biggest issue is the cleanliness. The hallway carpets don't appear to have been vacuumed, and our room didn't seem to have been cleaned thoroughly either. We walked around the room in white socks for a short time, and they were black from the dirt on the floor. The bathroom also did not feel clean, which is unacceptable for a hotel of this caliber. The tub had a ring around it. So dirty. It's unfortunate because the location is wonderful, but the lack of cleanliness really took away from our vacation. I hope management addresses these issues because this hotel used to be a place we looked forward to visiting. read more

Max and I are here celebrating our 31st anniversary. Everything is better than expected. The price point is the key take away. There are other hotels near by and you will pay up to 4 times.The bourbon does not come with room included, but everything else does. Be sure to stop by S3 for food. We had a great time at the hotel a few weeks ago. I had my grandsons for the summer so we thought we would hang out at the beach for a few days. The hotel is beautiful! We stayed in the kitchenette, 1 room suite. The kids had their space and we had ours. Also, the balconies were massive! The rooftop pool was also very nice. Check-in was perfect and the young lady who checked us in was professional and very nice. I also ran into the F&B Supervisor Deniel several times and he was so helpful. Despite some people's unfavorable experiences, I had a wonderful experience before our cruise. The hotel smells nice, staff was great on accommodating a later complimentary checkout, pack and play for our son. We were pleasantly delighted to have the highest floor overlooking the beach! The swimming pool is great and the views are amazing! Our room was clean compared to other guests experiences, so thank you to housekeeping keeping it clean. Housekeeping is a hard job that's greatly appreciated. This was a nice, short taste of Fort Lauderdale being steps away from the beach. The rooms and property are beautiful, the location is also very convenient with access to the beach and main beach walk. The on-site restaurant, bar, and market were very convenient and the staff was so kind and efficient. Housekeeping staff was also helpful and kind. Now here are the reasons I will not return: The biggest draw back, and this is a deal breaker for me, is the elevators do not accommodate the number of people in the hotel. There are 4 elevators and most of the time only 2 were running for hotel guests, sometimes 3. One is exclusively used for the very sporatic spa and Nub'e club guests. This means, if you pay for a suite or the penthouse on the 24th floor, you get in and stop at several floors on your way down because the elevators are not optimized. By floor 10, guest did not care how many people were already packed into the elevator, they would shove their way in because they, "have already been waiting 15 minutes". It is suffocating and I am not even clostrophobic. There is no A/C in the elevator either. On the day we checked out, our party of 4 had our luggage in the elevator and stopped at 5 floors on the way down during which time 12 more people packed in. 4 of which were wet from the pool... no towels around them. And the last two floors we stopped at had others queued up waiting for the next opportunity. There are 4 elevators in this lobby. Why are only 2 of them running on a Sunday late morning? No thank you. Lastly, it is valet only. No self-parking option. This is not normally an issue for me personally, but we were in town for an event that required us to leave the hotel multiple times throughout the day. I would have paid a higher daily rate for self- parking not to have to deal with valet calls, lines, and making sure I had the right denomination of cash for tips to leave or come back. read more

I don't ask for much, internet should not be a lot to ask. In my opinion, DO NOT STAY HERE. The beach across the street might bea better option for the work traveler. Twice in my tenure as someone who travels a lot I have been stuck with some bad experiences but this might be the worst yet. The other just so happened to be the Hilton Cabannas next door in Miami. I started in 801A but I asked for a higher floor, that might have been my mistake. Any room that has the A next to it, beware. The desk I am writing this more than generous review on barely fits my 15" screen laptop. So I got 2402A and I went to finish up my work for the day and I can barely open my webpage. This is with the HHonor promo code for fast internet. So I tell the lobby. They can barely hear me because they are blasting music in the bar right next to their desks. They recommend I use the lobby wifi. That is why you pay $60 to valet, whatever the resort fee is, and then like $300 for tiny room with no wifi. So I call Hilton and they call the hotel who tries to explain how the internet works. They move me to 1401A and I realized that 2402A didn't have the water. You charge a resort fee for things that are already included in a normal stay like a kids club and local calls but it is the 2 bottles of water that is my only benefit and that wasn't even in the first room. None at check in either which I normally get with my status (silver since I moved from being exclusive to Hilton hotels but still, I am trying!) So the A rooms. They have a espressor maker and mini-fridge in the closet. So the same place people hang their outside clothes is where you have the cups you are going to put your mouth on. Want a glass to put your toothbrush? not happening. There are none. There is a coffee mug though and an espressor mug and then a paper coffee and paper espresso cup. That is about it. No microwave and a dresser hidden under the small desk. This is the worst experience in 3.5 yrs of travel for work. I have 2/5 bars on the WIFI yet 5G full bars on my phones. read more

HILTON CANCELED MY PAID RESERVATION FOUR DAYS PRIOR WITHOUT NOTICE IN ORDER TO RESELL IT AT A HIGHER PRICE--AND THEN TRIED TO SELL IT BACK TO ME AT DOUBLE THE RATE DESPITE HAVING THE SAME ROOM AVAILABLE. The only reason I even found out was because I called ahead to let them know I'd be checking in later due to dinner plans. That's when the staff informed me my reservation had been canceled on the 16th--four days before my stay. When I asked why, I was told the reason was "CONFIDENTIAL" (yes, seriously). Meanwhile, my credit card was still charged and no refund had been issued. I called back and got a different staff member who was dismissive, tried to rush me off the phone, and repeatedly gaslit me by saying I had a "prebooked rate"--as if booking a room three weeks in advance is somehow a valid reason to cancel it. Eventually, I was transferred to the "resolution department," which seems to exist for situations exactly like this--where they cancel lower-rate bookings so they can resell the room at a higher price. The representative I spoke with tried to help but wouldn't rebook the room unless I provided the exact rate I originally paid. When I attempted to pull it up, my banking app wouldn't allow screenshots due to security restrictions. At that point, with no place to stay and my card already charged, I was stuck. Thankfully, my in-laws stepped in and booked another (non-refundable) room for us, otherwise we would have been completely stranded. To sum it up: Hilton canceled my reservation after taking my money, gave no notice, issued no refund, and did it solely to resell the room at a higher price. They refused to explain the real reason and then tried to sell me the same room at double the rate. If it weren't for my in-laws stepping in, we quite literally would have been left without a place to stay in Fort Lauderdale--not to mention this completely ruined my wife's birthday. read more

I've stayed here multiple times now. I love the location and it's in the price range I can accept. With that said, for the price, upgrades need to be done not just in the common areas, but rooms as well. Aesthetically, the lobby, bar, valet, and guest reception is beautifully done in a neutral coastal chic. The are lots of texture to add to the neutrals used in the decor. It smells fresh and coastal upon entry but not overwhelming so. The staff here is gracious and so kind. From the valet, guest reception, housekeeping, groundskeepers, pool staff, beach staff, every person you encounter is exceptional. I have not had one bad experience. I appreciate thru excellent customer care that's been offered to me. The rooms are where I have a slight issue. They are dated and in need of upgrades. The room was clean, but I was not well pleased with balcony furniture nor the condition of the bathroom. It wasn't awful, but new touches are in order. Stayed in the presidential suite last month and the beach is great, the view was pretty, bell staff and valet wonderful and the reservations people lovely but the room was not clean, ewww. I usually clean up for my family because I know people can be icky but this was way too much. As I was cleaning when I walked in I noticed here were, ummm "hairs" in the master tub soap dish and in other towels, thank goodness I lifted and refolded while I was cleaning with gloves on, so gross. I bought us all new towels and scrubbed every inch myself because either the prior guest was batty and housekeeping too lazy to replace all the towels and soaps for 2K a night OR the staff are resentful and it is spiteful, neither is good. Plus while in the shower caulk or grout was flaking under my feet and that is just weird on top of it being dirty. To go to higher floors you need to deal with the terrible elevator issues. There are 25 floors, one elevator is taken over by rooftop bar and a second was broken so that was only 2 functioning for 25 floors, it was rough. I did not complain while there because I didn't want to gross out my family with the details I fixed but eww, not going back - how do you not do quality check in your best rooms read more

Cheryl was wonderful and super helpful we literally lost a hat and it flew down 10 floors and she helped us get it off a balcony below. She was very courteous, kind, and patient. She helped us retrieve it without any trouble. We visited the restaurant at the pool level and had excellent service and all the food was fantastic! Our party had multiple days at the pool, but I only had one and the attendees at the pool (Ryan and Louis) made the most of my time. They made sure we were perfectly taken care of at the pool. I loved it. shortly after leaving home I realized I left my phone charger so when I arrived, I asked to borrow one and within two minutes of being in my room, Dennis showed up with a charger told me I could have it for the entire stay and he was just wonderful. I stayed at the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Resort for work (our entire team was staying at the property), and I could see this being a great option for that (lots of meeting rooms and larger ballrooms to use for meetings), but also for vacation, as the resort was very airy in its ambiance and right on the beach! My room was a double with two queens, and it carried the light airy feeling through it too, from the white wood flooring to the sheer curtains that let the natural light waft in (don't worry, there were also real curtains you could pull over for privacy/to sleep). There was also a little reading spot in a comfy chair by the window that was great for sitting at and catching up on emails (or reading a book) by the windows as you enjoy the view outside. Whether you're there for vacation, work, or a little bit of both - there is also a desk in the room with a nice swivel chair. At the desk is also the clothing drawers (if you're one of those people who unpacks your clothes into the drawers), and the large television which is above the desk area. The bathroom was gigantic with marble floors and both a tub and stand-up shower (separately). It was spread out quite a bit in the bathroom, so lots of room for getting ready or getting changed if you're sharing the room. Large, clean, and well-appointed is all I need in a hotel bathroom and this hit all the right points. My room also had a pretty full kitchen area with a sink, mini fridge, microwave, and kitchen drawers/cupboards (I did not open the cupboards or drawers but I assume they had plates and cutlery in them). So I could see this being an extended stay option as well, as I usually see those items in the extended stay properties. So, with all that said, I could definitely see this being a good option for couples, vacation, business meetings (like I was on), or groups, because there are facilities and amenities that fit the needs for all kinds of travelers. read more

Its a nice hotel that is just across Ft. Lauderdale Beach. We flew in from a red eye flight and were super early at FLL. We had called asking about early check in if possible. They were able to accommodate us. They apologized for not giving us a higher room, which was not a big deal because I have kids. So I have always preferred lower levels. Although, they were some glitches with the room keys, I am just happy to have been able to get a room after a red eye. staff was very professional, friendly and polite. And prompt with requests. True that the rooms and lobby need some maintenance like new paint and new sun chairs but it was still clean. We also had a huge balcony. read more

If you're bringing children--especially young kids--**Hilton Beach House Fort Lauderdale is not safe, not staffed properly, and not worth the risk**. We visited on Father's Day, hoping to make memories. What we got instead was trauma. Our **3-year-old son was badly injured**--he sliced open his ankle on **broken pool tiles** while sitting on the pool steps. He bled significantly. **There were no lifeguards. No EMTs. No first aid. No medical staff of any kind.** We had to **call 911 ourselves**. Even worse? While first responders treated our child, Hilton staff handed us the bill and **demanded we sign and tip**, despite us already being guests with **credit card on file**. Then, they turned aggressive. * **They demanded we delete photos of our bleeding son and the broken pool steps in front of them.** * One employee got **inches from my face**, took pictures of our license plate, and **threatened us while trying to withhold our car.** * They even tried to get the child's father to **sign a waiver refusing medical treatment.** * We were surrounded by **6-8 managers**, arms crossed, staring us down while we held a child in pain. We filed a **police report before leaving.** Our attorney is now involved. But this review isn't just about our horror story. This is a **message to other parents**: There are **no lifeguards at the beach or the pool. No trained medical staff. No real guest safety standards**. The pool area is chaotic, often **rowdy, aggressive, and unmanaged**. This isn't a family-friendly resort--it's a liability trap dressed in Hilton branding. The hotel is a little dated but very clean. As you can see, I had a junior suite with ocean view! There is pool bar/food service, cabanas, small gym and daily room service. The hotel has multiple restaurants and a rooftop bar as well. There is beach access across the street with a reserved section for Hilton guests. The best lobby stay ever! After coming off from our cruise, which had a pre and post stay included, we came to check in only to find we weren't registered guests (our pre-cruise stay here in a beautiful room exceeded our expectations). Our reservation showed on our side, but not on the hotel's (fully booked) side. The customer service that followed trying to untangle what became a wet knotted shoelace of an issue was unparalleled. Many phone calls with the cruise line, 3rd party bookers, emails, screenshots, by Kenya at the front desk, and ultimately Diva were made. They both were incredibly helpful, patient, advocated strongly for us, and eventually, everything untangled and a neat little bow replaced the knot. These ladies spent an inordinate amount of dedicated time assisting us, for a couple who weren't even going to stay at their property. A room at a different hotel was acquired. Pages in our Travelogue were added. Our appreciation for their help and kindness is what will bring us back to this hotel when in Fort Lauderdale. read more
