We stayed here the night before our cruise. The drive to Port Everglades is easy and about 7 minutes. The grounds are well landscaped. It was nice to have an interior garden area to hang out in the sun. Our cabana suite was spacious. It did smell a little dank and damp. The room was a great value. The cabana suite had a small porch area. There is a Starbucks across the street. There are stores nearby if you need anything within walking distance. We were satisfied. I did not realize that the Cabana Suite was the only room (that I could see) that had its private entrance on the side street. It was connected to the building but the room entrance was not contained within the security fence of the property. If I had known that when I booked, I would have booked a smaller room inside the complex behind the security fence. read more

This is a cute little boutique hotel, great location very nice owner, but the window was leaking heavily and the room did smell moldy this window and this leak should be repaired. The 2nd problem is the shower shockEd my husband twice when he turned it on and adjusted the water, I chose not to shower there and get shocked. My husband informed the owner of these issues and he didn't even reply. I would suggest that anyone with health issues not stay in this hotel, with the mold and being shocked when you turn on the water, this is unacceptable. read more

What a hidden gem! Literally had a last minute 2 day trip to Fort Lauderdale and had to quickly find a reasonably priced hotel, flight and rental. Normally when I plan a trip here I like to stay at the Hyatt Centric but that crap adds up. I love Los Olas and being close to the beach but not the beach traffic. Oasis was such a freaking perfect little "oasis" no puns intended and will be my new location to lay my head. Literally this cute little apartment, quick check-in, guy walked me to the door. I was so pleasantly surprised and Yelp has never failed me bc our community of Yelpers are always truthful and thorough in writing reviews. I was torn between Oasis and the Wyndham but their reviews weren't the best. Also Oasis I can park my own car and there's no stupid $10-$30 a day to park my own car which is crazy to me. Kitchen, Microwave, coffee maker, iron, frig like what the hell man and the price was right. Starbucks 10 second walk, Walgreens 30 second walk, Los Olas easy walk or a quick drive or Uber. Beach quick drive like Oasis is a perfect spot. Oh yeah Clean, Clean and quiet lol. If you're on the fence and you've made it this far, just book I promise you won't be disappointed. Oh yeah, grab a fresh cup of Joe and sit out in the garden area. Started my morning that way twice, caught up on some work emails and took in the sun, quiet, sights and then indulged in what Fort Lauderdale gives. I needed a room for one night, that was reasonably priced and close to the airport. I booked the Oasis off of Expedia and off I went! The hotel is a small little thing; it looks like an old apartment complex turned into a hotel. It's cute. It's quaint, and it's close to the main road which means two things: it can be noisy and it's close to things. The guy at check in was nice. The office was open from 8-8. I'm not sure what you do if you get there after. He gave me the wifi password and walked me to the room. The room was simple: queen bed, chair, desk, bathroom and a small closet. Everything was clean, but it was a small space. In the back of the hotel is a sitting area, no pool, but a place to relax none the less. If you're only here a night or two and need a basic place then this is absolutely where you need to be. No luxuries, but a clean place to rest your head for sure. read more

This place is a great budget hotel. Rooms are a bit on the smaller size but the place is clean, basic, and has free wifi. Also there isn't a 24h front desk like some bigger places, so if you going to check out early but want them to hold your luggage, timing is something to consider. My only complaint is there aren't more outlets. I found one near the bed for my phone but had to unplug the microwave for my laptop. read more

This hotel is a complete hidden gem. It's kind of in a funny area and if you walk around right by the hotel it's not that nice but the hotel itself is beautiful and convenient. The hotel is about 10 min from Port Everglades and about 10 or 15 min from the Fort Lauderdale airport. The hotel is small but it's so cute. You can't really see much of the hotel from the outside but after you check in and go beyond the brown wooden fence you can see the beautiful flowers and tropical vegetation. They have lanterns on some of the trees and motion sensor lights in front of all of the rooms for when you come back at night and it's a little dark. In the back, there is a nice open area which benches, chairs and picnic tables where you can smoke, hang out or even pet the very friendly house cat. The managers name is Nelson and when we checked in he walked us right to our room. We only stayed one night because we were going on a cruise but I am excited to have found this place because it's not far from the beach you can just drive or grab a lift the 5 min ride to the beach. Although this location is very beautiful & secluded, I am extremely disappointed. I booked this location for July 3rd-6th after reading their good reviews on Booking.com. I knew that their front desk wasn't 24hrs, so I requested a late check-in which was granted. I received the email with instructions 5 days prior to arrival with my room number on it, I even called the location midday prior to my flight to confirm that everything was set. I was supposed to have a lockbox on my assigned room door for me to access the room key upon arrival but when I got to the hotel, there was NO LOCK BOX! I called and texted their operator number (which they instructed me to do if I had any concerns) all night, left voice messages, sent emails and no one responded. To make matters worse, they had already charged me for my entire stay, so it made it difficult for me to attempt to stay somewhere else! As a result, I had to sleep outside in their patio area. I'm writing this at 8am and I have been here since 12:30am. I still have to wait until 9am just to receive assistance. I'm totally dissatisfied with the service. I traveled too far to away from home (on the 4th of July) to be treated like this! read more

If I could give a lower rating I would. They're crooks. At first glance it looks ok, although absolutely no amenities. The pool has been filled with concrete. The place seemed decently cleaned and then night comes and the roaches come out. It was awful. They say they're pet friendly, even on their website. They're not. I have a legitimate service animal. Very well behaved. I was there for a week and no one even knew he was there. I also had him staying at a sitter during most days. They tell me on the last day that they aren't pet friendly. I gave him my doctor's note...medical, not emotional support. They refused to give my deposit back because they said he peed underneath the table...which is impossible because I had my suitcases stored under the table and he never does that anyway. I had spilled something on the couch and had put water on it to wipe it off. The couch was so dirty that the rag i used came up brown. It was still damp from the water when I left. And they claimed that was pee too. I laughed. It was 100% water. They took the $100 deposit and now every day they keep trying to charge my account an additional $100! After overcharging me for the room. They're crooks. They're liars. And they don't even have a pool in south Florida. Save your money. There are better options way closer to the beach. read more

ABSOLUTELY NOT. I stayed in Room 1 under the name Reagan Beckett. To start off, I had called two days before my stay to confirm my reservation and was sent to voicemail and never received a call back. When I brought it up to the front desk upon checkin, she suggested that I had called the incorrect number and handed me a business card. It was the same number. Bugs in the bathroom (different species too - some flying and some crawling up drains in the shower). Sink drained SLOWLY. Hair dryer stuck on low setting with no way to turn it off except unplugging it. Air conditioner was bad to begin with. Then stopped working in the middle of the night. In Florida. When it's over 80 degrees in the middle of the night. Absolutely not worth $100+. I have stayed in hotels where I have feared for my own life and those were nicer than this one. Staff only on site from 9am-8pm and are totally unreachable otherwise. Anything but an "oasis." More like "desert mirage." Edit: The staff confronted me about my Google Review after authorization of a refund. They have also now left my credit card company (and their business partner since they are listed on the company's travel website) on hold for 2+ hours. read more

I chose this hotel for its proximity to the airport. I also got a bargain at $95. Its location made me just a little nervous when I arrived after dark, but once you pass through the gate, the lush landscape and privacy felt like "an oasis!" It's really more of a motel, with each room having its own outside entrance. My room was lovely and spotless, with a big, comfy bed and a second built-in day bed which can serve as a child's bed or sitting area (not a sofabed). I arrived late, so they left my key in a lockbox on my doorknob. The walls are a little thin, or my neighbor was exceptionally loud (mainly laughing), but come 11pm it was silent. There is also a large, beautifully-landscaped backyard sitting area. The room has a mini-fridge and a microwave, but there's no food on premises. I did enjoy breakfast at a nearby IHOP before heading out for the 3-mile trip to the airport. Definitely a great choice. read more

We were in a small handicap accessible room, so some details may be different, but our room had a futon, wardrobe, bed, TV, wall AC, small desk, fridge, kitchen style sink and microwave. The bathroom was basic with a pedestal sink, toilet and awkwardly shaped low-barrier shower, which I'm guessing is for access purposes. It was a little awkward but plenty of hot water. Tiny details... A shelf by the bathroom sink would be nice, since there's no counter space. Another shelf in the shower, too. And there was no box of tissues. Oh, and there should be a mirror above the desk to offer room for hairstyling etc. But. Minor things. The location is excellent, WiFi is decent. Owner was super nice. There's an inexpensive shuttle to the cruise port. There is a charming patio area for guests. No pool. No coffeemaker. Starbucks is across the street and the beach is a few minutes away. Plenty of other restaurants and stores nearby. Stay here, save a few bucks and enjoy your vacation. read more

The room was larger than expected, updated, clean, and comfortable. We loved the funky, modern bathroom decor! The grounds are so cute, and felt very safe and secure. You almost forget you're in the middle of the city, as the lush greenery transports you to another world. Check-out was very simple and easy! I highly recommend staying at the Oasis. The Oasis hotel was exactly what the name says, an adorable little Oasis right off the highway in a great part of town! I lived in Ft Lauderdale for two years and I know the area very well. This hotel was beautiful from check in to check out! From the moment you open the gate into the yard you immediately feel like you are on a cute island getaway. We spent 3 nights here and really liked it. It doesn't look like much on the outside but the room was clean and comfortable, and when you walk into the grounds behind the fence it is quite lovely. Lots of greenery and plants and the grounds are well cared for. Really nice sitting area in the back. It is pet friendly and we were able to bring the dogs. There is a very friendly cat who hangs out in the back with the guests. The cleaning staff was friendly and attentive. The price was very reasonable. We will definitely stay here again. Me and my 2 girl friends decided to move our hotels from south beach to Fort Lauderdale this past weekend when things got really messy in SOBE, so we decided to find a more calm atmosphere in FTL. We already paid for this hotel and upon arrival the man at the front door, Nelson, denied our entry. He would not give a valid reason for denying us our room. We arrived before check-in closed after paying $100 for an Uber there. We were left standing on the streets of Fort Lauderdale until 10PM IN OUR BATHING SUITS when the authorities arrived and had to escort us elsewhere. He was giving us the middle finger behind the police, and even lied to the police telling them we were trying to break the door down which the police quickly realized he was full of s***. We left south beach to feel more safe and secure and felt the exact opposite upon arrival and being denied by your worthless front desk (manager?). What I assume happened was he over booked our room and was caught up in a lie and didn't know how to handle It. Instead, he kicked us to the curb and basically told us to go f*** ourselves. I am in the middle of contacting corporate/owners to assess this situation correctly and hope this man loses his job. If he has daughters he should be ashamed. Left women standing on the streets in bathing suits while giving us the finger from behind the plexiglass. NEVER book here. read more

I wasn't expecting this hotel to be as amazing as it was. It was one of the least expensive options that we chose due to being on a budget, however it was way more of a bang for our buck. This hotel is a completely renovated and beautifully landscaped diamond in the rough. The room was incredibly clean and had everything that we needed. The hotel has a boutique style and a South Florida vibe. The only small hiccup was having to wait for someone to check us in, but even with that said we didn't wait long. There is a Starbucks across the street and a IHOP within walking distance. We also received great advice about where to eat that night. I will definitely stay here again if I'm ever in the area. read more

The stars are for the location which is excellent. There is no kitchenette-just a microwave on top of the refrigerator in the closet area. The main issue though is cleanliness. Trash cans were not emptied during our two night stay. On the 2nd morning we woke to a nearly two inch cockroach on the floor as well as a smaller iteration. If you don't mind the dirt or the insect interlopers, it is a great place to stay. read more

This by far was the worst trip ever. When we arrived to our room ( #9) it smelled like pure bleach. It's one thing to have a room smell like cleaning products but it's another to have it smell like gallons of bleach to the point that it was hard to breath and coughing. The bathroom light didn't work so someone had to come in and fix that. They didn't clean the debris from it up. Then there was hair in the shower and we called to have them come clean it out. They came but later on that night we looked in there and it was never cleaned out. This room was sooooo bad. We tried to dose off but woke up coughing and having to walk to Walgreens to get air freshener because the bleach smell was so strong hurting our lungs from coughing. The next day the room smelled that mold pure mold and dampness ( mind you there was no pool and we did not go to the beach). We asked to get out of the room and the guy at the front desk said that he would have the manager call us so that we could get refunded so we can get out of the room and no one ever did. We called up there and went up there and no one contacted us back. Soooo disappointed. I am not sure what they were trying to cover up but it was definitely something with all that bleach causing us to get an upper respiratory infection. We also heard our neighbor coughing in the room next to us. I hope they do something about that. I just wanted a refund and to get out that room. read more

I stayed at the Oasis Hotel in Ft. Lauderdale in April/May 2019. It is a quaint, lovely hotel across from Starbucks. It is clean, comfortable, and quiet. It is also affordable. My room had kitchen amenities with a microwave and small under-counter refrigerator. The only downside to my room was the very tiny shower. It was so small that when I dropped the soap I actually was leaning outside of the curtain to pick it up! This is not a reason to bypass this lovely hotel. I will stay there again when I travel to Ft. Lauderdale. read more

I was staying here, for The AAU National Karate Tournament that ends today, 07-09-2016. My stay was from 07-04-2016 through 07-09-2016. I had a wonderful time, it looked like the room just got remodeled. The fencing around the property looks new. I would definitely recommend it. read more
