BEST COSTUMER SERVICE! The rooms are really nice, tasteful and clean. The bed, pillows and comforted/duvet are the best. You will not want to get out from bed. I was there Dec 31st and when I paid for room and dinner thru the phone, I was not informed that all the tables at the restaurant were already booked for the time I wanted, but David from reception made it happen!, he was very attentive, helpful and professional. And Jack (I think he is the restaurant supervisor) was very attentive making sure we were happy. The food and service were really good during the dinner and the breakfast in room as well. This hotel was convenient and looked newer. The rooms were descent size for Europe. The same twin beds I found at Templepatrick, but they were not right up against each other. I too am a Hilton Gold member and I did not have to pay for internet. On your preferrences with the Hilton program you can list benefits, and being a teacher for an online university, I choose free internet. Works every time. I didn't try to the food, but the staff was helpful and the room was nice. The shower was hot, which is more than I can say for the location the day before. All in all, I was pleased with the room and the proximity to the airport. Good stay! read more

This is not a holiday hotel. If you're going to Dublin as a tourist, you'd be better served to stay downtown. But if you're going on business, as my partner was, and you're tagging along, this is a perfectly fine place to stay. It was on the way from the airport to the city but still a bit of a trek. It was modern and clean but the staff didn't seem too willing to help out find things to do nearby. Later we learned that it wasn't that they weren't willing to help, there just really wasn't all that much to do around there. But, the links into Dublin are decent. You can buy bus tickets across the street at the shops and then take the scenic route into Dublin. The cab rides back at night weren't too expensive for such a long trip either. Dinner was nice and the service was fast and friendly. Their bar was well appointed and there was a nice group of people there cheering on a Rugby match which gave it a homey feel. Again, this is a decent business hotel, but for a holiday, you might want to give it a pass. read more

Do NOT come here if you're going to Ireland on holiday or for an extended period of time. My fiancé and I just came here for the cheaper price so we could go to nicer hotels later on in our trip. If I had a chance to change this I would. It all started off badly. We waited over and hour and a half for the shuttle from the airport in the morning when 3 shuttles were scheduled to arrive and take us to the hotel. Very frustrating. No apology and nothing was done or said to make up for it. We had to pay for the wifi, which was so slow that it almost wasn't worth it if it had been free. The air conditioning and fan in the room was totally broken and we sweat through the night. We were offered a room change the next day but we were so tired, and had already unpacked so we didn't want the hassle of running around to find a working ac. We took a bus to get everywhere, and to get into the center of Dublin it took at least a half hour. The only thing we liked about this was that the buses wifi was far superior to that of the hotels! The trek does become a task when it rains though. What I can say that was good was the room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the water in the shower was hot. Besides being a place to stay for cheaper or for the night before grabbing your flight home.. I would say look elsewhere. read more

I'm a little biased because I'm a gold member in the Hilton Honors Program but take what u want from the review. The rooms are a little small with two twin beds and all the usual amenities you'd expect from a business trip but it is in no means bad! I figured I'm from America and I shouldn't expect things to be as large and spacious as I'm accustomed to. Rooms are new! clean! and well kept! Free breakfast Free parking or was parking 5 Euros, i forgot. It wasn't expensive is what I mean. I dislike the fact that I had to pay for internet access. However if you need to print out your boarding pass online, you are granted free access to airline websites from the lobby computer. Location: It's reasonably convenient to get into Dublin. If you go across the street to the bus stop, get on the number 27 bus, it is a 30 minute ride into Dublin. You can purchase a bus ticket from a supermarket two blocks away and pay for the m50 border toll there too. *************************************************** I wouldn't recommend this place if you are in Dublin on Holiday because it's rather far from downtown. We've stayed here a few times - very convenient for Dunlin airport. Rooms are fine and I appreciate the "family room" option - and double and two twins for the kids. It's not a fancy hotel but it is efficient and the staff are friendly and helpful and the breakfast is good. Do what I do and end your visit to Ireland by returning your rental car the night before you leave and stay at the Airport Hilton so you can take the shuttle in the morning . One less hassle on travel day makes me a happy girl! read more

This is a very nice hotel with great people and an above average restaurant and bar. If I was grading the people and the bar= 5 stars. However, the hallways, rooms etc. are beat and worn. Just check in after a previous stay. Was tired after traveling and found hair on between sheets. When housekeeping supervisor came to room she laughed saying it just on the bed topper so no big deal. When I commented that soiled or dirty bed topper should be changed she stated its not changed between guests. Really this statement from housekeeping supervisor. It's the little things that matter. The Dublin Hilton Airport hotel is nice enough. The rooms are fairly spacious ( we booked a family room) and the bed was comfortable. We were eligible for an upgrade to a Suite ( subject to availability) and arriving at 10 were told one was not available. Unlucky! We slept well and it as quiet although I did hear a baby at 8am crying for a minute but babies will be babies. My one complaint is I pre-ordered extra pillows and they weren't there although my online advance checkin went well. Complimentary water *4 bottles was good although no biscuits( cookies) with the tea/coffee kettle. The pillows are a bit of a bust because the pillow cases have flaps on them that mean if you like a pillow over your forehead for that cooling effect, the flap annoys you a bit. ( I did say it's the little things!) still for the money ( I paid around €80 ) I would come back. Oh yeah make sure you are in the Hilton Honours club for free wifi and airmiles! read more

The rooms are nice and have everything you would need. The outlets in the rooms make charging your devices fairly hard though. And the room service wasn't anything specially. Wasn't really anything at all. Yes, they made my bed. Yes, they took out the trash. And yes, I got new towels. But I had to ask for shampoos and such to be restocked. Had to ask for everything actually to be restocked. And even had to ask for new blankets after leaving them with the dirty towels. The room service option was nice though. Whenever I needed anything, room service was fast in getting it for me. They even gave me some free water bottles. read more

Fairly standard Hilton airport hotel located in Dublin. The rates are in the EU $140 range, which is reasonable for Dublin. The hotel is clean and the staff is super friendly. They offer a courtesy drop off to Dublin airport and pick up as well. The pick up can be tricky since the shuttle run every 45 minutes or so. There is a restaurant that serves dinner till 10PM or so - the place is always packaged with live music - catering to the in transit crowd. read more

This hotel is not located at the airport. It is some ten minutes away and very difficult to find. I am a regular Hilton guest all over the world and this may be the worst Hilton I have ever stayed at. First the location. Next, the address cannot be found on a gps and the people at the front desk cannot give good directions. Internet access is E20 for 24 hours. This is such a great location for a business lunch. The ambiance is classy enough for a business meeting but warm enough for a nice catch up with a friend. The interior is very contemporary. They have a lovely fireplace along the back wall which is a great place to sit with your Costa coffee, as they have a Costa kiosk inside of the restaurant. The menu is nice and simple, but just perfect for a quick lunch. The offer quite a few options from wraps to sandwiches, mains and salads. I had a cajun chicken wrap which was only 6 euro and it was filling enough. It's right around the corner from my work and I will certainly be paying them another visit for lunch soon! read more

This place can be hit and miss. I have stayed here several times now and each time I have a slightly different experience. The rooms seem to have been redecorated recently and much improved. Front office and bar staff are always charming, pleasent and completely helpful. Because of its poor location, the only eating / drinking option tends to be the downstairs bar, which is over priced and just OK. Even though it is posted as the Airport Hilton, it is not particularly convenient for the airport - a cab or the local hotel shuttle is required and takes about 10 - 15 minutes. Shuttle picks up from the airport free of charge but charges 2 euros to pick at the hotel and take to the airport. I thought this was in poor taste and I will report this to the Hilton brand. Please don't sell yourself as an airport hotel and then charge a fee, however small to transport guests to the airport. read more

We chose to stay here on the last night of our trip to Ireland because we wanted to be near the airport and we could pay for it with frequent flyer miles. The hotel is a few miles from the airport, and we didn't notice any plane noise. The hotel is about 20 minutes or so by car from the Dublin city center. Our room was nice enough (it had A/C and there was an ice machine in the hall), the staff was nice, and the restaurant was okay. Wifi was 5 EUR for 24 hours, and it was pretty quick. Garage parking was 5 or 10 EUR overnight, and we were able to pay at the front desk when we checked out. Overall, it was more than adequate as a place to stay before an early-morning flight to the US. read more

loved our stay here! Met my daughter and husband and 2 children, who live in Northern Ireland, for a nice holiday. The rooms are clean and spacious and they have cots for the little ones to sleep in. There are a few restaurants within walking distance. The breakfasts, which are included in the price of the room, were to die for! Yum! Traditional Irish breakfast, fresh fruit, coffee, tea, orange juice, cereals etc. so yummy! The free wifi, was a pain though. If you set your iPhone or iPad down, you would have to log in again before using. If you wanted better wifi options, you could pay extra for it. There's always a gimmick! Didn't have that trouble anywhere else in Ireland and we stayed 3 other places! But if you're on holiday, you're not using the wifi much anyhow. read more

Horrible horrible experience. Room had an odd smell. Air conditioning system has apparently not worked for months. Windows do not open!! It was nice and cool outside but our room was sweltering. They sent up a fan that circulated hot air. Restaurant was so chaotic and noisy couldn't hear myself think. Children screaming and running around. Zero water pressure in shower and staff was zombie like. Watched other guests complaining at front desk and employees seemed to glaze over like they'd heard it all before. Had reservations for full week business meeting but checked out after spending one miserable hot and sleepless night. Checked into the Radisson Blu and it was great! read more

This hotel wasn't bad. The beds are comfortable and rooms updated. The shower pressure is weak, but I presume that's an environmental thing. Hairdryers are good quality. Breakfast buffet is expensive for what it is. The bus was less than 5 euro and less than a half hour to Dublin. The restaurant on site has amazing bread, but the menu is lackluster for vegetarians. There is a big Tesco and other shops conveniently across the street. For a quick turn I would stay here again, it was much cheaper than hotels in town, but it doesn't have a lot for action around it otherwise. Staff was mostly friendly. read more

Oh my god, I just had to write a review on this hotel, what a beautiful hotel don't get me wrong and staff were very pleasant but I just don't agree with not having the option of opening a window, none of the windows open, it's shocking... The heat is so uncomfortable, the air conditioning is crap, so they offered me a fan which I did accept because it is just so stuffy.. Also if a fire was to break out, outside your room door, death is your only option!! I just felt so boxed in. My review is primarily against the inadequacy of Hilton corporation. I checked out of this hotel and did not receive a receipt because their computer was down. But they said they would email but they did not. When I returned home I called Hilton customer support and they were completely non-responsive. A customer service manager actually hung up on me. I was told on multiple occasions that it would take 2-3 business days to get a copy of my receipt (the functionality on the website was also broken). It should not take more than 5 minutes to get a receipt in the modern world of e-mail but the Hilton Customer support team had absolutely no interest in trying to solve this problem that they created. read more

We stayed for seven nights. Our two rooms were available early in the morning, w/o any extra charge, after we arrived from the US which was nice. The Irish staff is incredibly friendly and helped review our daily travel plans to make sure we were realistic with what we could see and do. Joseph, a front desk clerk, was awesome. Nearby bus transportation is easy to use. We shouldn't have rented a car as everything we did could have been done by train or bus. I liked the nearby shops so when we just wanted a snack or soda, we didn't have to eat a big meal in the hotel restaurant. We had Easter dinner in the restaurant and it was nice. Every morning the staff cooked things off the buffet line for us the way we like it. A friend recommended this hotel as he and his wife stayed here both upon arrival and departure b/w the one-week stay they had in a cottage. I could see us doing that as well on a future trip now that we really saw a lot of Dublin and want to get further out next time. The hotel is new and clean. The rooms are virtually sound proof. Locals come into the bar so it has a community feel, not a suburban hotel feel. Well priced for a family. read more
