The Bawarchi indian cuisine inside the hilton hotel is excellent. We ordered the chicken and paneer tacos and they were delicious!!

I am here now. After a good breakfast on my second morning, I have edited my review. This was a nicer hotel, a year and two years ago. On this visit, it has gone a bit downhill, which has made me sad and maybe a little angry. The grounds and the main lobby still look nice but the lobby definitely smelled just a little musty. There are only two elevators for 9 stories with about 36 rooms per floor. That was already insufficient and on this visit, one of the elevators is out if service and, according to staff, has been that way for a week and not sure how much longer that will persist - so one elevator transporting 400+ guests to about 250 rooms on 9 floors. When you get up to the floors, there are significant signs of wear and tear in the hallways - stains and ripped wallpaper, damage to railings and furniture, there has been a blower in my hallway and obvious water damage for the past two days. Staffing is also very light with only one person at the front desk while a line of people wait. Yesterday, there was NOBODY at the restaurant/bar and I waited around for 10 minutes. As a result, yesterday I paid in advance a for breakfast I did not receive because nobody came to take my order and it is not a buffet). Today, Cheri was here and I got breakfast which was limited options but was very good (I had an omelette with fruit and coffee and there were options for waffles, breakfast sandwhich, potatoes and all of the breakfast meats). Aside from the risk of getting there when there is no help - paying in advance for breakfast IS a good option if you want to save money on breakfast and Cheri (the server) is friendly and excellent. The location of the hotel can't be beat if you want to walk to the CSU campus. However, a bit upsetting (I hate being 'nickled and dimed') in the middle of summer, when nobody is in Fort Collins, they charge for parking and don't tell you how much it costs ($15/night) until AFTER you sign up and give your credit card information. The rooms are still "good" 3-star rooms, but show some wear and maintenance issues - blackout curtains that leave that sliver of light that you need a binder clip to hold them together (I carry one for just that purpose because I stay in a lot of hotels), the bathroom sink doesn't drain properly (this has been an issue on all of my visits to this hotel), they CHARGE for the water bottles in the room. They no longer offer complimentary coffee or light snacks in the lobby (this sucks, please rethink this Hilton). For the extra 50-70% cost, aside from the location, it's not worth it. Other local options like Comfort Inn, Fairfield suites, etc.. that have all of the same and better amenities- free parking, free breakfast, nice rooms, complimentary coffee, small workout rooms and only 2 or 3 floors serviced by elevators rather than 9 - are better options. I likely will not stay here again read more

This hotel is absolutely disgusting the bathroom door will not shut we have to hold it while going bathroom and we found a cockroach in our bed! They only moved us to another room like that was going to do anything?! There is also a foul smell like moldy food I would not recommend this hotel! read more

Location is great. Old amenities in the room. Second time we have stayed. Only one elevator is functioning so be prepared to wait. Also have to pay for parking. No free guest coffee other than the bags in your room. Charged 3 different prices to fill a 20oz Yeti at Starbucks. If you leave for the day the AC shuts down came back to a 80 degree room. Pool was cloudy. Saving grace is the Spring Creek Grill. Food is great and service is stellar. read more

This was, without question, the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. After a long flight with two small children, I arrived to find no one at the front desk. I had to wait 25 minutes and eventually had to call the hotel from my phone just to get someone to come check us in. The room was in terrible condition. The pullout bed was broken, the sheets were dirty and extremely worn, and there were only two low-quality layers of bedding--no real comforter. The carpet was torn, the lamp didn't work, and the overall cleanliness was unacceptable. I was even bitten by a spider during my stay. The noise level at night was also awful--music blasting from another room and loud noises from outside made it impossible to sleep. I filed a complaint, and all the hotel offered was a little over $100 in compensation, which doesn't begin to make up for the experience. They made no effort to genuinely apologize or make things right. I strongly recommend avoiding this hotel. The lack of cleanliness, poor service, and unsafe conditions made for an extremely stressful and unpleasant stay. read more

We booked Hilton Fort Collins for Father's Day weekend and paid extra for executive lounge access. Unfortunately, the experience was frustrating from the very start. The information from the website, staff, and chat/text support was completely inconsistent. We requested extra pillows and microwave access for our toddler ahead of time and were told it would be no problem--only to be denied both at check-in. We were told to use the lobby microwave (we were on the 9th floor). The executive lounge we paid for wasn't even open on Saturday, despite being told refreshments would be available at all times. Breakfast was also confusing. At check-in, we were told it was on the main floor, only to go down and be told it was actually on the 9th floor, with no clear service time provided. By the time we figured it out, there were only 20 minutes left. Room keys kept deactivating, and we had to get them reset multiple times, wasting more time riding the elevators than relaxing. To top it off, they charge for parking in a low traffic area. This stay didn't feel like the Hilton experience we expected. What was once a trusted name now feels like it's gone downhill. The service, amenities, and overall experience fell far below the standards of a 4-star hotel. Definitely not worth the price or reputation. read more

Our first impression of the Hilton Fort Collins was that it was fancier than we'd expected, but it went downhill from there. Although the hotel had a large parking lot, parking was $15/day through AirGarage. This could be paid through your phone, but the platform did not accept Apple Pay. The first day went smoothly but on the second day of paying for parking, I got a notification that my "reservation is in progress", which apparently did not mean that the payment went through. As a result, I was charged a $20 fee the next morning. We were also surprised to discover that the hotel was basically CSU Rams themed - from the lobby decor to the Rams polos worn by the staff. The interior was very nice though, with a spacious lobby and clean, modern decor. Our room was also clean with super comfortable beds. However, service was pretty lackluster. We tried to call for room service multiple times but the calls were unanswered. The front desk transferred us to the bar, which also did not take the call. Our room was also not cleaned at all during the two night stay. Overall, not terrible but I probably wouldn't stay here again. read more

This place is absolute trash!!! We came for a game day and the home football team happened to be here, so all of our rooms got pushed back. We booked a month in advance and guaranteed check is by 4 PM. It's been an hour and the best they could offer is two double beds even though we book suites. We are diamond members and still no compensation. Also, the bar is absolute trash. You would be better off to stay in the dorms. I would appreciate if somebody from Hilton actually reached out to us to fix this problem. It's so infuriating as we spend hundreds of thousands of dollars every year staying at your hotel because we travel for two weeks every month. Next time we're going to Marriott . read more

Checked in. Close to the main campus. You have to pay to park 15$ a night apparently which is slightly annoying. The inside is very pretty- they were having a silent auction. We stayed in a room -- king bed with sofa. The room is a nice size. That said, the bathroom was obviously not cleaned prior to us checking in (around 5:30 PM). There were (what I presume to be) beard hairs on the ground and the toilet had very obvious poop splatter under the toilet seat which was disgusting. I didn't take a picture as I was running late for dinner. We alerted the front desk about it. Then left for dinner. Came back after 3 hours and the poop is still there. Picture attached. Water is only available for free if you are an honors member- silver, gold, diamond. Not a regular member or a regular guest. A crib with mattress was available but no fitted sheets for it. The shampoo/conditioner/body wash are bottles in the shower that anyone can open. The bed, sheets, and pillows were comfortable. Wouldn't stay again. read more

I guess I'm done with Hilton. All of their properties are going downhill and the level of service has diminished so much, you might as well stay at a Motel 6. I, too, was surprised that I had to pay $15 to park - and it had to be done by going through a secondary service. Why? Why are staff unable to handle this? This seemed like a ridiculous additional hoop that patrons must go through. So much more efficient for everyone involved for the hotel to simply charge the card they have on file for me. Why make your patrons do additional work to pay for parking? This was my first turn-off. I also was extremely frustrated that I couldn't slip into a business center and print out two Word documents that I needed for my work the next day. Oh no, your usb is too dangerous for our system. Really? Come on, Hilton. If you can't figure out a way to provide your guests - many of whom are working professionals (or students, in the case of Ft. Collins) - with a printer? then that's pretty sad. Of course, at least I can take a soothing soak in the hot tub, right? Wrong. Out of service. It took me 20 minutes to get connected to the wifi. The staff here seem nice enough. It's not their fault. But from a corporate level, I don't get it: Hilton used to be one of the gold standards for travel accommodations. And they also used to be somewhat generous with their Hilton Honor members. Is Hilton in such bad financial shape that they can no longer reward loyal patrons with free parking, or a free breakfast any more? Went there because my husband had a work meeting and this was where everyone was staying. you have to pay for parking online. the hot tub jets were out of service for the 5 days we were there. one of the elevators was out of service most of our stay. worst of all there was no refrigerator in the rooms. the lack of a fridge and the lack of an elevator were the biggest inconveniences. there were some big groups coming in and waiting for the elevator twas taking forever, our room was on the 6th floor so we weren't taking the stairs. staff was pleasant. they didn't have touristy literature out, but when I asked for local stuff they dug a couple out for me. read more

"ITS NOT MY FAULT YOU'RE PARALYZED!" "ITS NOT MY FAULT YOUR WHEELCHAIR BROKE!" These are the words Patty, the Night shift supervisor told my wife and then me to my face, as we checked into the hotel. I was at their hotel, in preparation to race in my first Para-Gravel Bike Race, in beautiful Fort Collins, Colorado. It is also the same place where I became paralyzed 11 years, and 7 days ago to that day. My wife and 12-year-old daughter were so excited for this day to arrive. Because my chair was temporarily without power the heavy rain made it impossible for my wife to unload safely. My wheelchair with me in it weighs 700 Lbs. and a wet ramp made the conditions unsafe. I asked my wife to go back inside and ask for a valet, or employee to assist me with, luggage, and hand cycle, (which is clumsy to control with effort), and then me of course. Soon after my wife was greeted with an agitated supervisor Patty. She greeted in my wife in Spanish with a Pissy attitude. She refused to help because she would not get wet and that it was not her fault that I was paralyzed, further it was not her fault my wheelchair is broken, but in hospitality? More to Say. This was a good stay! Hotel rooms are clean and large. We didn't feel cramped and had plenty of space to lay out our stuff on the couches. Location is literally adjacent to campus, so it's walking distance. If you want to go to the downtown area, it's a few minutes' drive or a twenty-minute walk. There's a gym, jacuzzi, and pool (all indoors), plus a restaurant and Starbucks in the lobby. Lots of parking. I just wish breakfast was included, because I was told that a few years ago, it was for everyone. read more

Remember to always check Yelp before you pick your lodging. You have to stop your check in, go to the parking lot to get the license plate of your rental, log in on some random website and sign up for overnight parking. This is the first and last at this hotel. People deserve to check in in a timely manner not this ridiculous method. read more

I travel for work hundreds of nights a year and can say this was once of the most dismal hotels I've stayed at. Granted the hotel is tired and needs a makeover but I would say that's not fault of management. Having an executive lounge that serves soggy potato's and cold eggs is shameful.there was zero signage indicating if sausages were pork,chicken,turkey etc. They market a restaurant being open every day yet neglect to tell you there is no ala carte dining on weekends and it's also a sad breakfast buffet which I would have paid for since executive lounge was inedible. For a "business hotel" there were no outlets with USB ports ,a light was on one side of bed not both sides. The large I. Room mirror was blocked with a coffee maker refrigerator unit which made mirror useless. It's ironic the rates can be as low as 85.00 a night but then go to over 200 for the exact same amenities. The staff needs training about "daily f&b credit as twice I was given incorrect information regarding the credit. Let's not forget the mandatory parking fee for a non attended parking lot with no gates ,security or safety .. I've stayed at "lesser" brands of the big 3 hotels that were better accommodating.. A total shame for what is supposed to be a full service brand hotel. read more

I dislike leaving poor reviews, but there way too many other options for places to stay in Fort Collins to even bother staying here. First, the hotel is dated, dark and a bit musty. I am being generous in granting 2 stars, but I understand we're in the middle of a pandemic and there is a huge staff shortage especially in hospitality. Although this property has no control over what time trains roll by, this alone would keep me away. Expect to hear train horns at random times of day, yes, even at 2am. So bring a set of ear plugs. On my first night, I was tired from traveling, so I decided to go downstairs to the hotel restaurant to grab a bite. Well, I basically sat for a while without being acknowledged as 3 separate individuals were recognized after I was there for some time, so I decided to go elsewhere, annoyed, tired and hungry... -_- One good perk was that the Executive Lounge was open in the morning, albeit with limited offerings. It usually just had eggs, breakfast meat, yogurt, and some pastries. Nothing mind blowing, but I was glad I didn't have to venture down to the hotel restaurant after my first night's experience. I don't anticipate having to visit Fort Collins much more in the future, but if I do return, staying at this Hilton will NOT be at the top of my list. read more

I recently stayed at a Hilton property and had a pretty disappointing experience. I left my signed Emmitt Smith Dallas Cowboys jersey in my room, and when I realized it was missing, I contacted the hotel within 3 hours. Unfortunately, their response was lackluster at best. I vacated the room early in the morning, which means plenty of time for a staff member to have checked the closet for the jersey. I was told to fill out and complete a lost property form via a link sent to my emails. I have received a number of AI generated responses to my email stating the Hilton was unable to find the item. It felt like no real effort was made to locate my jersey. I can't help but wonder if it was simply overlooked or, worse, if an employee took it. It's really disheartening when a hotel doesn't seem to value your belongings or provide proper follow-up. On the plus side, the facilities were nice, and the staff was friendly, but this experience has definitely soured my impression. I expected more from Hilton, especially regarding lost items. I hope they can improve their lost-and-found process in the future! read more

The issue is a few years ago they got greedy and started charging for parking... we went there the other day just to patronize their bar and got a ticket... last time we stayed there at the hotel we got a ticket. STAY FAR AWAY from this place. They are not interested in you as a guest all they are interested in is your credit card. I would not stay at this Hilton property if you gave me a free gift card and paid to have me ubered there and I live in Fort Collins. We used to stay there all the time just for a stay cation... believe me we are working to tell everyone we know NOT to stay there and will so everything we can legally to see that either they change their process either parking or that they get shutdown. read more

I stay at this hotel 5-6 per year over the past three years because one of my kids goes to school at CSU and Hilton has nothing closer. Once again we are treated by rude behavior at the bar in the restaurant. It's the same bartender every time we are here. It's clear no one cares about the Hilton image at this hotel. The bartender was telling our friends that they had to read the beers off the menu us "because he was tired of telling them about what's on the list." How this guy has not been fired by now is beyond me. Then we ask for another beer and he says "I called last call already. Don't know why we didn't hear him. No I can't get you another beer." At 10:45pm at night. Awful service. Someone from corporate Hilton needs to come and do a deep dive into this hotel. Because the service sucks. I had a very nice stay at the Hilton Fort Collins. The front desk was very helpful and friendly. In fact all stay were nice and all loved their jobs. From the front desk, to Starbucks, resturant staff housekeepers and the wonderful lady in the VIO Lounge on the 9th floor. She was a lovely person who really does Love working for the Hilton. The grounds were nice and clean, the pool and work out areas were new . Best part is the hotel is directly across from CSU/ Don't stay at Best Western on campus it is nasty. Had a great trip. Will make this hotel my go to spot. read more

We stayed and were given a parking coupon for free or discounted parking (not sure which it was supposed to be.) when going through to register my car online, I went to input the coupon code to reduce or waive the $15 charge. It would not take the coupon. When telling front desk, she wrote something on a post it note and said she would tell her manager. Still, the charge remains two weeks later. We chose this Hilton, because it said "free breakfast for all rooms". When we ate their buffet, the server charged us $38. When going (again) to the front desk, he just said "sorry, that is for certain rooms only". No compassion or understanding at all. Just defensive and I was quite nice. Lastly, I left my iPhone behind in the room. I called later that day. They transferred me to housekeeping which was a voicemail. I left all my info. They also sent me a text link to complete to register the lost phone. When completing the form, I was unable to "submit" clicking here. Housekeeping never called me. This place is run by nerds who have not concept of customer service. Worst hotel experience I've ever had. read more

Overall a nice hotel, upper end of the options that are out there. Rooms were nice and spacious and great views. Centrally located for the CSU campus and Canvas stadium. Now, unfortunately there were a few fixable issues and signs of the 'little things' being overlooked. Only one elevator was working, which made the waiting much longer than it should be, up to 10 minutes. I get it, they break down, but it should have been fixed right away. The jacuzzi was broken as well, which takes away a nice feature of the hotel. Our room, though nice, smelled a bit like smoke, had a running toilet and a non working bathroom fan. The hotel clearly runs a lot of events, which is great, but it also turns the place into a very loud and overrun space if you're just trying to have a nice, quiet stay. Not sure what you can do about that, maybe trying to keep the event contained in the room and not allowing the music and intoxicated people to drift into the hotel quite so freely? Again, we loved our stay overall, just a little more attention to details and this is a five star spot. read more

Won't be returning. I have stayed at this hotel over the decades, even when it was the University Park Holiday Inn. I see no reason to stay here again. For starters, they ding you $16.00 for making an online reservation. They charge you $15/day to park your car in their parking lot (it used to be free). One of the two elevators didn't work and there's a long delay to get to your floor. Reading other reviews, this has been a problem for at least THREE YEARS. They first booked us on the second floor and the window starts about 5 feet off the ground and you get a "beautiful view" of the HVAC systems and satellite dishes. The ice machines on our floor and another didn't work. Last, the bar closes at 10 PM which I found rather odd. I don't see any reason to stay here again. read more

The pipes are so loud it sounds like the water is crashing through and not to mention the walls are paper thin. I was shocked we I received my room. The Hilton was a clean and quiet hotel. The lobby area was nice and inviting and the staff was very friendly, which is a nice touch. (This review is nothing to do with them, they all deserve a raise) There are a few things that could be fixed. The parking at $15 is a little much. This hotel is one of the most expensive hotels in the area and the parking lot is big. Having it be included in your price is just good customer service. Give your customers tags to hang on your rearview mirrors so not everyone can park here. It's just a nice touch. There is no mini fridge in the room. That's a super inconvenience as we like to go to the grocery store for some supplies. I understand the no need for a mini bar but a basic mini fridge is a standard touch and one we didn't realize wouldn't be in our room. The ice machines are broken. Fix them...simple. The bar doesn't open until 2pm. Now normally that's fine but on vacation, sometimes you want to wake up with a bloody mary or mimosa with your brunch for football. I found this strange for an upper priced hotel. With all that being said, for our personal needs, Hilton may not be a great option. That's just us but maybe it will help someone make a decision based upon what they expect on a hotel. read more

Have stayed at this hotel many times over the last 3 years (my child going to CSU, it's the closest to campus) but this stay was even worst than the others. You now have to ASK by notifying the front desk to have your room cleaned. I did, but my room was never cleaned, being at the Executive Level floor, you would expect decent service, like a daily cleaned room. For my 3 nights stay, the room was not cleaned once. I chose this hotel for room service amenities only to find out they do not serve room service on the weekends!?!? 3. To find this out I had to call 5 times before the front desk picked up the phone. They were not busy, I could see them from my room. 4. The initial call was an immediate transfer to the bar without letting me finish my sentence. The front desk was rude. 5. The $20 breakfast buffet was disgusting. Despite listed amenities, dining room, you could not order off the menu. 6. The room layout was bad. Couch was facing the desk as opposed to the TV. 7. I am a Hilton Diamond member and loyal customer for 23 years. This is the first time I've given a negative review for a Hilton property. Do not stay here. Service is poor. Rooms are standard. It is also not close to interesting restaurants or downtown Ft Collins. I did have a situation that would have been handled by a professional team. Management was super poor, so low marks. read more

We had a terrible experience staying here over the Holiday weekend. We spent one night at this Hilton, and were eaten alive by bed bugs. We let the hotel know about our situation and the manager Daniel called us back later to say "the bed bugs were not from his hotel and we must have picked them sitting on a couch". This place is exhausting to deal with. The staff and rooms are nice, but all the hoops you have to jump through don't make it worth staying here or having a group come here. First, the parking situation is handled through a third party. The entire goal is for you not to pay for parking so they can charge you a huge fine and no one at the hotel can adjust it for you. (And when you do see it in the day, it involves a damn QR code that points to...texting?) The elevators involve a key card situation that no one could figure out. Breakfast is a whole other thing, and by then I was just too damn tired to deal with it. Charge me a flat rate that includes all this nickel and dimming. read more

I am in town for eight days for a softball tournament. The rooms at 204/night with no refrigerator or microwave. You can request one; However, they are out. Be sure to budget eating out three times a day if you cannot get a refrigerator or microwave. The food in the hotel is very pricey as well. If you are a light sleeper or suffer from insomnia, run! The train runs all night long and is very close to the hotel. We were startled by the laying on the horn at 2 am, well as every few hours afterward. After spending over 2k with a parking lot view, I must say I'm ready to go home. The hotel lobby is stunning but lacks peacefulness in your room. read more
