I expected more from Hilton. We stayed for 2 nights. I messaged the hotel to let them know we were arriving late. After driving 6 hours from San Diego, I went to the front desk to get extra keys and ask questions. I was greeted with a sign that read something like "we have stepped away from the desk but will return soon...." So I waited about 5 minutes and nobody came. There was no bell to ring or anyway to get attention. Then I noticed someone in the office wearing AirPods and on their phone. I walked closer so they could see me out of the corner of their eye and they came out and greeted me. She was very friendly which was nice, and I get that it was late but I feel like she could have been more aware of people coming to the desk, and maybe that someone leave a note letting her know there would be guests arriving late. We got to our room and it was nice and clean. The beds were comfy and we slept. The next day we went to breakfast and the chef was very accommodating for my daughter who has celiac. They made a fresh gluten free omelet for her on a clean pan. As we were getting ready to go out for the day, I went to get some ice and as I walking into the hall I noticed a maid with a clipboard. I told her I would like to have our room made up while we were gone for the day and asked if I should remove our dnd sign now, or wait until we left. She said "wait until you leave, we'll be sure to make up your room". We left around 12:30 and returned around 10:30pm. We came back to our room and it was not serviced at all. I called down to the front desk and asked to have towels brought up. I was told we had to come down to the desk to get them because they didn't have anyone to bring them up. The next day as we were departing around 8am, my daughter and I went down to the lobby to get Starbucks for the road. It was not open. With a sign right in front the read, open daily 6:00am... Then the front desk lady walked over apologetically and informed us that the Starbucks would not be open but if we wanted just a regular coffee they could take care of us at the restaurant. I said no... she apologized again. 1. If you are expecting guests arriving late. Be ready for them when they arrive. 2. If a guests specifically asks you to have their room made up and you assure them it will, then follow through and make sure that happens 3. Hire someone to make room runs, you're a Hilton not a motel 6 4. If you're going to have a Starbucks in your lobby, make sure you have people to run it. Or remove the sign that says Open daily. read more

It was a nightmare. The hallway had repairs w a Lrg hole in the wall & tools & plaster board on the floor. The room would not cool below 76 & that was at night. Room was old, musty smelling. I reserved a king size bed and I got a queen. Nothing was very clean. My dirty patio balcony opened up to a propane gas factory that screeched & sounded like jet planes were taking off right across the parking lot 24 Hours a day. When the chef was there, the food was very good. The bar opened up after five and was very limited. I had to go buy a new pillow so that I didn't smell old human odors in the ones they used on the bed. I would pre ask for my room to be serviced and it never happened, twice. One night and a whole day, the air conditioner went completely out. It was 100 degrees outside. Im 75 & was pouring sweat in my room. I requested a fan in the room from that time on. The front desk man was irritated with me for asking for help with a fan. He said they had problems of their own with the water pipes and we didn't have any water for showers or bathing or anything for 24 hours. I'm telling you this place was a nightmare. The general attitude of all the staff was, I don't give a . Glad to leave. I think it was somewhat reasonable to expect a clean room with water and air conditioning and a decent customer service attitude. None of that happened. read more

Cute hotel, quick and effortless check in, good service from the front desk. We had a pretty wild wedding party and they were very accommodating. Their morning breakfast is pretty good and it's nice that there is no parking fee. There is a mall across the fwy, but the hotel is kind of on an industrial/medical street. Easy access location right off the freeway though. The room was clean and the air conditioning blows nice and cold. read more

This is by far the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Not just the worst Hilton, but the worst hotel, period. I stayed for 4 nights during Christmas and this is what happened. - First Night: -- The EV charger was not working. The hotel stated that they have EV charge on-site and this is the only reason why we picked this hotel over the closer ones. The lady at the desk said the EV charger often doesn't work and EV charger is not her responsibility as it's managed by another company. -- Checked-in and as a Hilton Gold Member, I received $30 daily food and beverage credit ($15 per guest for two guests). At check-out, I only received $15 daily credit and not $30, so used the chat option on the app to talk to the hotel, but never received a response from the hotel in app. I had to talk to them to get the credit adjusted. -- Went to the room, there was no toilet paper in the room, none. - Second Night, came back and the room was not cleaned. The facial tissues ran out the first night, and didn't received replacement. I talked to the lady at the desk, she said she'll put in a request for the room to be cleaned the next day. Also, she will bring new facial tissues to the room for us, which never happened. - Third Night: I saw the cleaning lady in the morning and asked her to clean our room, she said okay. Got back at night around midnight (Christmas Eve), the room was again NOT cleaned. The guy at the desk said there is nothing he can do and offered us to towels. Then he finally, looked up another room and moved us. The room is right next door, but we had to move everything to the new room, this is after midnight. I asked him to get the manager, but there were no managers available. The guy said he'll have the manager contact me to apologize first thing in the morning. - Two additional nights in the new room and then checked out. However, I did not receive any apology or calls from the manager. read more

Over all an okay hotel. It's across the street from sort of "air processing" plant and you can hear the machines screech all night. Rooms clean but somewhat poorly planed when it comes to lighting. The location and wattage of the light fixtures make the rooms feel like a cave. Sarah in the to go coffee area was sweet , but the guy at the front desk hung up on my husband when my husband asked if diamond members could get a late check out. My biggest gripe is the shady fees on the check out folio. A " recapture fee" was charged for parking despite the fact that no one disclosed this or asked us if we had a car. Ariana was kind enough to remove it and go over our final bill with us but to be honest, you're better off at a Marriott property where they don't try to slip in unauthorized charges. read more

I want to start by saying the hotel is not bad , but it's not great for the Hilton. Pros: good location , good parking , nice lobby , pool is small but very clean Cons: the room . For 350$ for 2 nights you expect quality . The room is old , dated , and overall tired. The beds are comfortable I must say but old Carpet, furniture , and the tv. On day 1 the tv wouldn't work. The direct tv box kept resetting itself and we couldn't watch anything. This happened several times and had to have team members come up and basically say " well if it keeps happening just call us up". But we shouldn't have to do that . I want to make this clear the tv ARE OLD AND NOT SMART. Next con: the bathroom . Overall not bad but the shower pressure is horrible , and the overall tub and shower is old and leaky. I had a wedding to attend to during a weekend visit at Phoenix. The hotel that was recommended for the wedding to stay at was the Hilton Phoenix Chandler. I had a two night stay from Saturday through Monday. The drive from Phoenix Harbor International to the hotel was approximately 30 minutes. There is plenty of free parking available for the hotel. As soon as you walk in, you'll see a variety of seating in the lobby, a restaurant, bar area, and a snack shop. As a diamond member, the check-in process was a breeze. I waited to do it in-person since I wasn't able to select my room through the Hilton application. The hotel was able to check me in around 2:00 P.M and provide me a key card to the room. There wasn't any available upgrades at the time. I also asked about the lounge since the Hilton application stated that the Hilton Phoenix Chandler had one, however, when I asked the front desk, the team informed me they stopped offering a lounge at the property. The room was clean and 2 waters were provided upon the initial stay. It was spacious. Plenty of storage available. There was also a refrigerator, office desk, and an iron. The King room only had a shower, not bathtub. Unfortunately, room service wasn't offered during our stay. We had to go to the front desk to pick up towels, extra soaps such as shampoos, conditioners, as the front desk informed us calling that it could take hours for the items to be delivered to the room. The team had recommended that we come to the front desk to pick up the items. During our nights, the room were pretty quiet for the most part. You could hear next door entry/closing of the hotel room doors. The hotel does have a beautiful outdoor pool with plenty of seating. We didn't get a chance to eat breakfast that was offered at the hotel. It was slightly expensive during our stay in March. I'm not sure if there were a lot of conferences on-going, but overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Hilton Phoenix in Chandler. read more

Overall a pretty good place to stay. Rates are good in the summer time. Their living space starts from the 2nd floor up. Had a meeting in one of their conference rooms downstairs so it saved me time to stay at this hotel. So can't complain there. Room was clean and service -- impeccable. No complimentary breakfast or snack here though. There is a restaurant you can buy food at on the ground floor. I suggest buying food and drinks elsewhere as water bottles can cost up to 12 dollars at their small market downstairs. But if you are honors gold member, you get free water bottles:) read more

The faucet leaked all night and the room wasn't cleaned thoroughly from the previous guests (especially the commode). But worst of all is the Air Products Factory across the street that makes commercial grade loud compressor noises late into the evening. If you stay here, request a west-facing room, not east-facing. Staff is nice here, and cash is worthless at the bar and restaurant. read more

The tv only had direct tv no streaming capabilities. Loud water plant or something across the street. I'm a diamond member and booked a patio corner suite. When I called the hotel about upgrade options, the front desk was rude and said, "you have the best already" and then said goodbye and hung up. The view was blocked by a palm tree placed right at the center of the patio and we were facing the street. The room was not ready until 440. We sat for 40 minutes waiting for the room. The room was decent in cleanness but way outdated. If this has been renovated, the contractor did a poor job. The shower door barely closed and was scraping the floor and jamming when open and closing. The shower door barely head had the water pressure of a faucet and not all the holes were working. Overall one of the worst hotels for Hilton I have stayed at. Also they charge you $3.87 for parking in the parking lot and then add tax so $4 something not huge deal but ridiculous to nickel and dime customers. read more

This was my third or fourth visit in two years and I cannot think of one problem or recommendation. This morning Jeff assisted me a few times, super kind and friendly. Last night Melissa and one other female assisted us at check in, they were both friendly and informative. I typically only stay at Hiltons and this property is clean and close to the freeway for easy access. In comparison, I feel that this location is better trained in customer service and overall friendliness as I often stay at other Hilton's in the valley and don't have great things to say about their customer service, friendliness, delivery of benefits, etc. we will definitely be back :) read more

Pretty disappointed in the room we got during a recent stay. We paid $135 for one night using our Hilton Honors rate for a 2 queen bed room. The rate was average compared to other properties in the area. The location of the hotel is great. Very close to a mall with plenty of food options and stores. There is a Chuck-e-Cheese in the same lot as the hotel. Free and easy parking. Staff was friendly during check in. The property looks nice from the outside. Got to our room and found the typical cleaning precautions put on all the rooms. The cleaning staff will not come in your room during the stay. I was disappointed with a couple things in the room. The AC seemed to struggle to keep the room cool. The drain in the shower was clogged and drained soooo slowly. There was some sort of stain all up and down the door jamb in the bathroom. How does housekeeping not notice these when "cleaning" the room. Made me began to wonder how good they really clean the rooms. One more thing I thought was kind of odd. After taking about 5-8 tissues from the Kleenex box in the bathroom, I noticed a change from them being white to an off-white color. Does the staff combine used tissue boxes? Overall, pretty disappointed with the room for what we paid, especially since there there were other less expensive options in the area. I have stayed at several other Hilton properties in the past, but none like this. read more

Was staying here for a conference and I must say I'm very disappointed. I've been a Hilton Honors Gold member for many years and finally had enough stays to get diamond for the first time. As part of being diamond, I'm supposed to get access to the lounge if a hotel has one. This one does, but they failed to let me know this at checkin, and I only discovered after ready reviews here. I'm hoping it wasn't because of my appearance as I'm a bald bearded biker. Anyway, that was the least issue. The place is very grungy and in need of a serious cleaning and update. Our bathroom had mold around the shower (see picture), and the only reason I didn't ask for another room was we knew we weren't spending much time in the room. Then there's the issue of breakfast, they have a breakfast buffet like many other Hilton properties but what they fail to tell you until after you've gotten your food is that it costs almost 20.00 for powered eggs, undercooked bacon, overcooked bisquits and gravy made with water instead of milk (just plain gross). One of our party was asked to pay the 20.00, although he only had 1 glass of milk. Needless to say, he refused. Overall, this has got to be the worst Hilton I've ever stayed at, and theres been a few other bad ones, but nothing like this place. read more

As a 10 yr Hilton Diamond member I am extremely disappointed! I have only posted 3 bad Yelp reviews....ever... but this has been a horrible hotel experience. I'm visiting Phoenix for work and was told Chandler is a wonderful place to stay. I googled hotels and Hilton Chandler/ Phoenix popped up, looked nice, had decent reviews , read that it was close to downtown and price was right. I arrived Tuesday and was disappointed to see the hotel is under major renovation, pardon our dust signs everywhere, construction crew, lobby and bar are not inviting. It is nowhere near downtown and the rooms are very outdated with hodge podge furniture and the feeling of not being clean. I tried to order dinner through the room service button on the phone and a voice mail came on saying the mailbox was full. I called the front desk who transferred me to the bar but no one answered. Calle the front desk again and the woman told me that in the future (there will not be a future stay) I needed to come downstairs to order and that they don't have room service but she would allow it this time!?!? I placed my salmon order and asked what came with it, she responded "to be honest it's a new dish and I do t know". Ok, whatever...I'm just hungry at this point! I went downstairs to pick up my $36 salmon and once again total disappointment. Stay clear of this one folks! read more

We stayed here for 6 nights from 12/27/21 to 1/2/22... A family member's daughter got married nearby and this is the hotel that was chosen. We got a reasonable rate of $93.00 per night. But I'm guessing that it was a group rate. Family & friends from out of town had rooms on three different floors. We stayed in room 404 for our trip. The room had everything we liked and needed for our extended stay. King size bed, nice big dresser with many draws for storage. Bonus for me was the in room safe that was in one of the draws. They also offered laundry service which came in handy for me. Just had to get my dress shirt pressed for my suit. In these current times, they will only clean your room once during your stay. If you need anything, just call the front desk. Outdoor heated pool and hot tub wasn't hard to resist even on those cool December nights. (899) read more

This was a terrible hotel. No running water for majority of the day and no clear answer from management. Dozens of people in lobby complaining and still no solution on time. Calling Hilton corp to get comp'ed at another Hilton nearby but Jacob on help line says he can't do anything until next day. But I can book another room at another Hilton and pay for it myself. He was totally worthless. I was totally disappointed with Hilton's failure to help diamond member and customers get into other Hilton hotels. I will be looking into future business with other hotel chains who care about correcting things for their customers. read more

I thought the random black hairs on my towels, holes in my sheets, and TV not working was gong to be the only downside of my visit but Hilton knows how to please their customers. This is a dumpy and poorly maintained hotel. Every exterior door to every hotel room was visibly dirty and damaged while walking down the hallway. There is a lot of visibly deferred maintenance that needs to be done. Some basic maintenance and fresh coat of paint would go a long way! Everything in the hotel room that was metal was rusty and corroded. The climate control system sucks and barely maintained a temperature of 73 degrees when I had it set to 66 degrees. I tried lowering the temperature to 55 and it still would not budge. This makes it miserable for someone used to a cooler environment and looking for refuge from the Arizona heat. The gap underneath the front door was massive, like a solid 2+ inches, so this made a lot of noise from the hallway and other rooms come into the room. Additionally, there was so much light coming from underneath the door that it disturbed my sleep so I had to lay a towel across the floor in front of the door to block the light out. Additionally, there were floor shower tiles broken in the shower, the walls and surfaces of the bathroom did not look clean. The sheets for the bed were well past the usable life with snags and tatters throughout. Overall, the place is not good and I will look elsewhere next time. read more

Ok so this is directly across from a chemical plant. Don't plan to sleep well or sit out by the pool. The plant makes a horrible high pitched noise about every thirty seconds or so. The windows are well isolated but you can still hear it. The on-site executive lounge was also disappointing with no alcohol or food options. Value was so-so but had I had know about the chemical plant I would have stayed elsewhere. read more

When my fellow colleagues tell me I was lucky at short notice to find a room at this Hilton Property, I knew among Hotels in Chandler this one must be special and it starts with GM Bill Taylor, who if you didn't know works as hard as any other employee in the Property. I requested a nice room away from the elevator and he found me one with an early check-in. Check in like out was a breeze and all the front desk staff were awesome with advice on restaurants, shopping centers and pretty much anywhere you wanted to go. There are courtesy Hotel shuttles that will take you on a 5 mile radius which pretty much covers most of the downtown and other areas (P.S Remember to tip the friendly drivers) The Hotel has a great deal for the Executive Lounge floor access. Not only is it stacked with drinks and munchies all day but for the evening, cocktails and drinks are heavily subsidized. A great deal and managed by Darren who is really nice (again please remember to tip for greats service) Also for breakfast, HH members have choices. Either a complementary grab and go from the cafe or pay $4 for a full breakfast which is a steal especially again with great service. I am really impressed with this property. Not only was it close to work but there is a great shopping mall within walking distance. There is a small gym but fully functional and I never had issues with access. A nice swimming pool. Great service is contagious and clearly the leadership of Bill Taylor spreads among his employees. Some of the names were Celia; Celeste; Eric and a young lady who is about to go to school. Not rating this as a hotel. Rating it as a place I attended a seminar. It's mostly about the food. On Wednesday they offered a "preorder" lunch. I got the club sandwich with fries. It took 20 minutes to get my food which was ice cold. The bread for the sandwich had become hard as a rock by the time I got it which told me it was probably sitting for most of the time I was their. After lunch I decided to stop at their in house coffee shop. For some reason the clerk thought 12:30 would be a great time to clean the espresso machine so there was a 10 minute wait. I asked for a coffee instead. Her response "oh sorry there isn't any brewed right now. Seriously? On Thursday I order a Cobb salad and the crawfish chowder. Asked for the dressing on the side. Of course instead they drenched the salad with it. My soup didn't arrive until 10 minutes after my salad came I had to remind the waitress that I ordered the soup. Got the soup and it actually wasn't bad...if you were expecting beef chowder. Literally zero crawfish. Overall for a Hilton (and this coming from a Hilton Diamond member) this was the worst experience I've ever had with any Hilton property. read more

Located in a convenient spot in Chandler, this property is situated near two freeways along with many businesses including a terrific mall in one direction and Oldtown Chandler a short drive the other direction. The property is well-maintained and in pristine condition. The bed was super comfortable - you'll sleep like a log. We had business meetings on-site and we found the staff to be most helpful and polite. In fact, on the first day of our meeting we realized the room was a little tight for the size of our group. The hotel team took the initiative to find us a larger room and moved us on the second day to a more comfortable location. That's good customer service. We ate breakfast and lunch as a group. The banquet food and the serving staff were terrific. When visiting Chandler or the surrounding area, give this property is try. I'll be back. Salute! read more

Arrived for check-in at around 8 PM. Front desk agent asked if I had stayed at the location before. Indicated that I had not or at least it has been 10 years since the last time I had for a wedding. She proceeded to say that they upgraded us to the 6th floor on the executive side and the benefits that were included. The Executive lounge is open 24/7 has a television discounted drinks throughout the week and on Saturday starting at 5 PM. Breakfast is complimentary in Cafe 2929 or they offer a full hot breakfast buffet until 10 AM during the week and 11 AM on Saturday & Sunday. I needed scissors shortly after check-in so I called down. The gentleman was at my door within the minute to let me use them and told me to call back down when I was finished and someone would come grab them. Thorough to say the least, when it comes to service and making you feel important. For being a 3-star hotel, the service is next level. As a HHonors member and a traveler for work this place is where it is at when you are in the East Valley. read more

I would give it a zero, We checked into our hotel on April 28. We stayed 4 nights. My husband and I went into the hot tub each day. It was extremely hot. I didn't notice until the 3rd day, that my bracelet was ruined and so was my bathing suit. I brought this to the attention of the manager, and he said that he had to file a case with the insurance company. I was given $300 credit, however, my suit is ruined, my bracelet broke due to the damage, and my other bracelet was ruined and stolen. Please, don't stay here. This stay was brutal. My keycard didn't work, mobile app also wouldn't load that I was staying here so I got stuck in the hallway for 30 minutes at 11pm while it was figured out. At 6:30 the whole hotel was woken up by a "fire alarm test". Who authorizes a fire alarm test (which is still going nearly an hour later) at that time?!?! What a train wreck. Now I'm tired, irritated, have a massive headache, and have a three hour drive back home today with very little sleep. I've stayed here many times, even had a previous four star review, but I will not stay here again. read more

TLDR - main negative is around the hotels Tesla Destination vehicle chargers (two of them). Super frustrating when the hotel (and Tesla) advertise these chargers for hotel guests but they are unavailable because local residents are using the chargers as their personal charging stations. This isn't something we imagined. The staff at the front desk let us know that there are some local residents that regularly take over the chargers and use them as "their own". Not cool. We specifically picked this hotel because of the chargers. Now we are stuck staying at the hotel and have a low battery. The rest of the hotel is nice. They have a simple, but nice, hotel bar (which serves food) and restaurant which serves breakfast and lunch. Staff is friendly but not entirely helpful. Rooms are nice and clean. read more
