Want total relaxation? The salt cave is the ultimate place for it, I have no idea when it hit me but I was out quite early on into it, luckily we had no one else in the cave with us, so we had a choice to talk or not talk, but my friend and I wanted to just enjoy the experience so we didn't talk. The mood created by the music, low lighting, obviously the salt, and yourself is what is so cool. You lay on a anti gravity chair or there are a couple of floor mats, you give into the zen, and just enjoy the unknown. It was great after a long week at work, Christy explains the process before she turns the lights down, there is no right or wrong way of doing it, but depends on what you want out of it. After the 45 mins you can go and enjoy the salt foot lamps in the tea room, which were cool, and a nice choice of hot teas or water. This is where you slowly come out of the salt coma! They have created a nice calming, Zen space here, very relaxing and enjoyable. It was a fun girl time.

Me and my guy decided to come here just to get away and have some relaxation and not focus on covid. We made an appointment and were told to arrive 10 minutes early. We were also told to drink plenty of water prior to the salt cave experience. We arrived early and were told they were having a special - buy 2 get 2 free! The cost was $80 for our session today ($40/ each) and now we have 2 to use in the future. This was an awesome experience! We leaned back in the fully reclining chairs, were asked if we wanted blankets, the door closed, and the lights were dimmed. The ceiling started to sparkle like stars and then the soft music plays in the background! After 45 minutes, the lights come back up, and the door opens. You walk down the hall to the relaxing area, and there are Himalayan domes. With these domes, you are suppose to put your feet on top of them and these are suppose to continue to draw out toxins. All in all, a GREAT EXPERIENCE! We drove an hour and a half and it was well worth it!

The Wonders of the Salt Cave!

This is my home away from home!! Not feeling well, celebrating something, birthdays, need peace and Quiet, anniversary, need some place to take your 5 year old so you can nap and they play with beach toys in the floor of salt... go see Chrissy at Himalayan Hideaway!!! All of these reasons and more are why my family, friends, and work family go to visit the Salt cave!! I can not rave about Chrissy and the health benefit enough!!

A salt cave hidden in a strip mall. Nice decor, comfortable and clean. The Cave is relaxing with salt on the floor and walls, it gives a feel of a courtyard in the Himalayan's with an roof, doors and items it's from the region. A mural of snow covered mountains and clouds and a starry sky. Our 45 minute session was started by an explanation of the benefits of the salt by the owner. Very relaxing and calming with meditation music and soft lighting. Appointments are needed, check website or Facebook. We found it on Facebook during the soft open. We will go again.

Hi I would like to address Sandy H of the JUNE 30, 2025 review of the Silent Meditation Retreat. In…read moreit she headed it with: "it's Cult, STAY AWAY". LOL She also stated "...we noticed a level of unquestioning reverence for the AOL founder that felt more like cultish devotion than the pursuit of wisdom". And "...In our view, AOL does not represent a genuine path toward spiritual growth. For those seeking meaningful insight, authors like Alan Watts..." etc. I've been on this spiritual path for 50 years! yeah forever! hahahha - and I love Alan Watts and Ramana Maharishi and some of the other great Advaita teachers and lectures. And after 30 years of meditation and even teaching meditation, I also took the "Silent Retreat Course" several time and frankly - IT CHANGED MY LIFE. I FINALLY GOT WHAT SILENCE ACTUALLY MEANT. As far as it being a cult - Well everything can be considered a cult if one is devoted to it. Have you every been to one of those "Krishna Das cults" hahahahha? I live here on the mountain near the Retreat Center, I'm not a teacher nor a "cult member" lol. I'm just happy here with the knowledge I've gained here at the retreats. As far a Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, the founder is concerned - Yes, he's my Guru, so was my mother. But the beauty of Sri Sri was that he (by example) showed me what SILENCE REALLY MEANT. So I would encourage people who want to come here to this beautiful retreat to remember that the PURPOSE of words, critical thinking, spiritual discourse is Silence and rejoicing in your own Being. Conversation is nice, interesting But the revelation of Silence is inner peace and true wisdom. (in my humble opinion :D ) and for sure my dogs love it here too! :D

We let them know in advance we were bringing a wheelchair. Yet we received a non-accessible room, no toilet riser, and no shower chair until I asked in person. The shuttle can't take a wheelchair, the handicap parking is gravel (where my husband fell), and there's no accessible route to the dining hall or restrooms. When I explained how unsafe and disappointing this was, the staff offered no empathy--just said they were "grandfathered in" for ADA compliance and don't even offer to comp the unused night. We left early, exhausted and disheartened. I've never encountered a place so out of touch with accessibility and hospitality.

Dr. Abangan is the brainchild behind EOS Aesthetics and has filled my lips beautifully, injected cosmetic and therapeutic Botox, Kybella, and facial threads for lifting and smoothing and the results are just stunning. I'm 63 and had begun to avoid the mirror because I just didn't recognize this old person in front of me anymore. I had very pronounced nasal labial folds and jowls, and my lips had gone to nothing, and my double chin was just embarrassing. It took about 3 weeks for everything to normalize and I'm just elated with the results. Now when I look in the mirror I'm not only surprised but very happy. I literally think "girl, you look good". I feel so much more confident now. This is a look I can live with without undergoing the risk of extensive plastic surgery. I love the mobile spa and it is so relaxing, comfortable, and spacious. It literally usually takes 3 hours out of my workday to go get Botox, but Dr. Abangan has it done in the comfort of my driveway in a fraction of that time. She has the eye of an artist and the hands of a doctor --hands I felt very confident in. I've been using Botox for about 20 years, and I had never heard of injecting it for jaw clenching or teeth grinding. I was telling her about my jaw clenching issue, and she suggested Botox to solve the problem. Well, it did! I cannot describe the relief of waking up in the mornings, or just working at my desk and noticing that my jaw isn't clenched, and my neck and head aren't killing me. I love the "Rejuvenation Vehicle" from EOS Aesthetics. It's like a little private rejuvenation vacation for me without leaving my home.
