My old primary school! It seems like a life time ago when I excitedly awaited my first day at school, starring at the big scary looking building through the massive iron gate. The building is actually a beautiful old place, only one floor but very long which is what makes it look quite intimidating to a child. The main central entrance to the school is very grand looking and was only for visitors back when I was there now it is the main entrance for children. The building is a figure of 8 with two lovely grassed areas in the middle which we used to use for science experiments etc.. We were very lucky to have massive playing fields and plenty of hard surface areas to play, a lot of the towns schools are not so lucky. I loved my time at the school, the teachers were all lovely and there was plenty of school clubs for everyone to join. The big hall was brilliant for parties and school plays. I used to love going down in to the basement to the kiln room and craft area. read more
