It's ten years since I first went to the Sixth Form College. It's a beautiful building which must have been a grand house when it was first built. It's surrounded by plenty of grassed areas for the extensive sports department. The college offers the full range of AS and A-levels as well as many GNVQs and also some other qualifications. When I was there, there was also an extensive programme of other learning opportunities. I learnt basic Dutch, did a first aid course, learnt about Japan and it's cultures, developed listening skills and many other things as part of this programme. There was always plenty of opportunities to go on field trips and holidays. The college has a very well stocked library with an extensive computer section for research. I think the only think that needed improving when I was there was the common room, which was small and inadequately furnished. Other than that it is a very good college (or was at least!) read more
