Reasonable price if not wanting to stay in Jasper National Park or Hinton. The drive into Jasper was a quick one hour. And heading to walmart in hinton was an even quicker ten minutes. Wi-Fi, i dont know did not use it. But again i dont use the wifi when camping. Why use your phones when camping, enjoy the company of your family, read a book. They have a book swap shelf downstairs from the office, dont think many people use it as there isnt much books there. Had a tint tots playroom but it was locked. When asked the office, all they said. "Not working". Well thats stupid. My son, 1.5 years would have enjoyed the space. The cook spaces were a nice touch, sinks and stove tops. Arcade room, pretty much all the games were out of order. Laundry room, never used the facility. My Son loved the playground. Cabins were basic, dont expect too much. Loved the porch swing. There is a tv and mini fridge in the cabin. Double bed and bunk beds, perfect for a family of four, but bring your own sheets or sleeping bags. read more

We booked three campsites together in February for a July trip, expecting our group would be placed near each other. When we arrived, all three sites were scattered across the campground. We spoke with the manager to see if there was any way to move us closer together, but he was extremely rude, dismissive, and showed no interest in helping. He simply said that because we booked online, those were the sites assigned and there was nothing he would do. He also claimed the campground was full, even though there were numerous empty campsites and we watched other campers arrive who had just made reservations. I suggested that if the online reservation system separates groups who book together, they should look into fixing the issue so it doesn't happen to other families. Instead of listening or offering any solution, the manager was unfriendly and acted like our concerns didn't matter. We understand that not every request can be accommodated, but customer service goes a long way. A little effort or even a polite conversation would have made a big difference. Unfortunately, because of the manager's attitude and unwillingness to help, we would not stay here again. read more

The campground is very nice, the restrooms are clean, the showers are ok and the laundry facility has a fair amount of modern washers & dryers. What ticked me off is check-in. This nice ole guy comes out with his clipboard and checks us in without leaving our vehicle. He shows us our spot on the campsite map and I ask if he could move us closer to the restroom/shower facility. He laughs and says no your spot is already assigned. So I'm thinking he's got a full house that night. Turns out our quadrant was COMPLETELY empty except for us. This is NOT how you provide good customer service! No shade. Sites can get very windy. Poor instructions upon arrival. Washrooms attached to office, yet was told to go to other end of park. Male attendant walked in ladies room to check supplies without hesitation. Lots of dogs barking. Showers and bathrooms kept clean. Overnight quiet. Our stuff was moved during the day when they mowed. 15mins to park entrance, yet 1hr to Jasper town. Hinton does have grocery and quick bites too. read more

Park managers were very relaxed. Didn't much seem to care what you did as long as you didn't drive on the grass. The restrooms and showers were not very clean, the floors look like they hadn't been scrubbed in a while. The water pressure was terrible. It is a beautiful area and a nice park. read more

Wildfires & smoke blocking route to the campground. Actual warnings and advisories; we decide to cancel for safety. Since no fire immediate vicinity the campsite, told it is not their problem; no refund or flexibility. Told by the Manager that since she has family in British Columbia she knows it's ok. Maybe, but we have pictures of the smoke and fire along the road, along with the online fire map showing where the fires are! Permanently lost our business. read more

No signs for the KOA posted anywhere coming from Jasper national Park, AB, Canada. The email we received said not to use GPS to find them. They didn't give us a mile marker or any kilometer marker. Just gave us longitude and latitude. When we called they said there were signs and they were not. When we arrived we didn't have Canadian coins and asked to do an exchange. They refused so we weren't unable to do laundry. Maybe they need to get better staff. We only stayed the night of June 19, 22. read more

A conveniently located campground in the heart of the Canadian Rockies. This KOA Campground is very well maintained with all of the amenities that your typical KOA offers. While I am used to provincial campgrounds that offer more privacy this campground offers more than you'd typically get. The grounds are well taken care of and the added bonus of the "camper kitchens" is a nice touch. They also offer free HOT showers, a laundry room with coin operated machines, game rentals and a general store for last minute forgotten items. With Hinton just a few kms down the road it's not difficult to pick up food or other things at Wal Mart or Safe Way. With online reservations it makes it easy to reserve a spot outside of business hours. This KOA also offers cabins if roughing it isn't your thing. read more

This is the worse KOA we have stayed at. Customer service was very poor, requested 7 months in advance to be placed next to my sister. They said it was impossible since they had already assigned sites. Space next to sister was empty for 2 days and then had a RV there for just one night. I think the staff is lazy and didn't want to put forth any effort to be accommodating. She said that the call center does not let them know special requests. Our request was listed on all our paperwork. Manager also made a disparaging remark about new owners and their ability to speak English. This KIA is a long drive into Jasper NP and Banff. I would definitely stay in another park rather than this unaccommodating KOA. read more

On our three month trip from Las Vegas to Alberta, BC, Yukon, Alaska and back this has been the most disappointing RV park to date. First, the positives. The young Asian guy who showed us to our space was very nice and enthusiastic. The laundry facilities were adequate and everything was in working condition. Now the sad parts, as others have said, there is no WiFi - ignore anything that says otherwise, our site has a broken 30 amp outlet. The plastic around the plug is old, dried out and chipped. Power comes through the circuit but will not hold a plug. The "manager" told us when we checked in that her maintenance guy would replace it in the morning. He came out in the morning and refused to do so. Since there was power he did not care if the plug would not hold a cord. To quote my father, "it was looser that a two dollar whore". The solution was to get zip ties and tie our electrical cord to the post. This will do nothing for the next guest. Poor maintenance- refusing to make a $10 repair. Water pressure is inconsistent. If returning, we would not stay here again or recommend it for anyone else. read more

Beautiful views all around. Clean yard, bathrooms, showers and laundry room (very convenient). Well stocked store if you have forgotten anything. Owner took the time to tell us where to go....as in day trips and what we were physically able to do and what would be too much for us. They have a covered area with tables, stoves and sinks. Stayed 3 nights - would highly recommend. read more

Fine campground. Good facilities. No pool but a nice playground. A little far if you are looking for a place to stay that is close to Jasper. We ended up spending a lot of time driving back and forth. Next time I would probably choose to stay in the park. read more

The facilities and personnel of the RV park very good. The park includes a children's playground, large dog walking park, clean restrooms, and clean showers and laundry. Despite the positives, I would not have stayed if I would have realized that the advertised WIFI was unusable. We stayed with a group of RVs and no one in our group was able to access email. Two rigs were parked next to the WIFI antenna. Park proprietors said that the internet was from a satellite and was sometimes a little slow. The internet service was totally unusable. We drove into town Internet service at the Walmart parking lot in Hinton was excellent. read more

Beautiful location. Friendly staff. Well maintained. Don't expect wifi unless you sit on the porch of the office. They tell you there's free Wi-Fi throughout the campground. But you get what you pay for. there really isn't. the only place we found wifi was sitting on the porch of the office. read more

As for the campground facility and its maintenance, this is a good place to camp, but if you are looking for their advertised WIFI, forget it! Our computing devices showed an OK signal, but we were unable to connect any. When we expressed our concern at the office, they said it happens regularly, and perhaps guests were consuming the WIFI capacity watching movies, or that it was that we are from the US. While we can't deny being from the US, the likelihood of WIFI being used up by others seems implausible since the campground was about 15% capacity. They were unmoved to adjust any of the $47 fee. We suggested they refrain from advertising amenities not available. This did not go over well at all, and they smugly informed us there was limited, spotty WIFI. My rating of this campground is negatively influenced by the fact that I trusted their advertising to the point I drove 50 kilometers out of the way to enjoy accessible WIFI and then the management took the attitude that it's totally my problem. read more
