I'm so thankful that a Google search led me to Connie. She was quick to respond to my calls and texts and was so accommodating and sweet. Within a couple hours of contacting her, Connie made me a beautiful flower arrangement exactly as I had requested AND at a small fraction of what I expected to pay. I went into the store limping, I told the owner that was seated behind the counter about the hole he said he would look into it. I demanded he "look into it now" otherwise he would have sat on his duff until the store closed. I pulled back rug to reveal a piece of cardboard over top of the hole that was covered by the throw rug. I am outraged and having serious discomfort due to the swelling and bruising. Reviewing Cub Run Cave Tour. Linda Cook, guide and friend of…read morediscoverer. EXCELLENT. Well worth the 10-mile drive through rural Kentucky to find this gem. Thousands of unique formations, dripping wet, still forming. A stream runs through the cave, there's a wooden walkway throughout, only a few steps, maybe 12. Considered an "easy" tour. Highly Recommended. This place is little-known, but personally, I think it blows Mammoth Cave out of the water (or ground). I went to two sections of Mammoth Cave in the morning, and Cub Run in the afternoon. No other people in the tour but my friend and me, so we got the personal treatment. Please do not miss this one! This cave has several exceptional and unique formations that you will NOT find elsewhere! Did not eat in the restaurant but peeked in, was clean and looked comfortable. Correction: I just learned from their website that the restaurant is closed until further notice, due to lack of business. Munfordville is close by with plenty of places to eat there.
