Right after Hiral finished my feet. Love them!

This is several months late (sorry!)...Hiral did my henna last August. To say she is amazing is an understatement. Hiral did my Mehndi party and even did a separate day just for my hands and arms to help accommodate my crazy pre-wedding schedule. One of the things I love most about Hiral is that she is a true artist - I showed her a few photos, noting what I liked/didn't like, and she completely took it from there. I had looked at a few other henna artists in the Bay area, but they all seemed overpriced and of lesser quality (Hiral makes her own henna cones and gives great after care instructions). I'm so thankful Hiral was able to fit me in! In addition to being an mazing artist, I really loved Hiral as a person. To fit everything into our schedule, I ended up going to her house for my hands/arms. My mom (who was totally exhausted from all the wedding planning etc.) was going to nap in the car, but Hiral insisted that she come inside and nap on the couch. While my mom napped, Hiral talked me through what to expect in my upcoming wedding. As a Caucasian American having a Hindu ceremony (and all the events that come before it), I was completely overwhelmed at the time. Hiral was so sweet and kind - my mom and I still talk about how wonderful and calming she was - exactly what we needed in the midst of the pre-wedding chaos. Oh, and not to mention that she last-minute referred me to someone to get my dupatta draped and pinned (which it turned out I definitely needed - I had no idea that I would need it sewn into my hair!). I would 100% recommend Hiral!

Hiral is an artist and a professional. She cares about the work she does and it really shows. She created the perfect bridal henna for my personality after showing just a few examples of what I liked. She has a lot of patience. Book with her and you won't be disappointed. And my hubby never found his name--now I get a present! Thanks Hiral :D

I am super late writing this review- I got henna done from Hiral back in August- but I will tell you that you will NOT regret choosing Hiral for your henna needs. It was honestly the perfect mehndi that I had always dreamt of for my wedding. I'm super glad that I gave Hiral the freedom to do as she wished. I trusted her blindly because her passion really shows in her work. Had heard so many compliments and read reviews, but I can for sure say- hands down- Hiral is not only professional but such a beautiful person inside and out. The stain was amazing, knowing I had done my mehndi on Wednesday night, and by Saturday- my wedding day- it was very dark- I loved it! It stayed on for quite a while for about 2.5 weeks until after the wedding! So definitely got to appreciate the mehndi design for longer. My dreams of having the perfect bridal mehndi became true all thanks to you Hiral!

Hiral did such an amazing job on my bridal mehndi! She is very talented and so easy to work with. She was very responsive and was able to give me a trial before my wedding. She was really flexible with my last minute design changes and did a great job with all the guests at my Sangeet. The quality of her own henna was incredible! I would highly recommend booking Hiral!

Loved my gladiator style sandal and intricate lace details!

Hiral is amazing and super talented! She did my bridal mendhi 2 years ago. Before my big day I was never a big fan of mendhi, but knew that I had no choice and needed to get it done as a bride. Hiral changed my view for mendhi because of how great her work is! I instantly fell in love with how my hands/forearms/feet turned out! Loved her modern twist of her designs! I felt like I was wearing lace gloves and gladiator sandals :)! The color was awesome the next day! Also looked great before taking the mendhi paste off because of the glitter she uses as well! Not only did she do my mendhi (which to a very long time) but she continued applying for my guests later that evening. She is super sweet, nice and friendly! I highly recommend her for your mendhi artist as a bride and guests! You won't e disappointed! Hiral thank you for being part of my special day!

Hiral did my bridal mehendi and did an incredible job. The after care she mentioned was very helpful and the perfect person to get mehendi done for any occasion.

Hiral Is the sweetest and most enjoyable person to be around. I hired her to do henna at a birthday party. It was so much fun. The guests loved getting beautiful glittery henna for the party. She's quick, detailed, and flexible. Will come up with custom designs for individuals and makes your guests feel special and included. She's did great designs for the guys who wanted henna, and worked well with some wiggly children who wanted it done as well. I cannot recommend her enough. I met her at my friend's sangeet and could not believe how beautiful the bride's henna was. I am so happy I found her and will always hire her for my henna needs. I regret not finding her sooner. I wish she would have done my wedding henna. There's always an Anniversary!!!

Hiral did my mehndi for my wedding back in December, she was super sweet & easy to work with! We discussed designs & she knew exactly what I wanted & I was so happy with the end results. She also provides you with care instructions on how to take care of your henna so that the color is rich & dark and lasts longer. I would definitely recommend Hiral for any henna events!

Hiral did henna for both of my arms and feet for my wedding last June and was absolutely amazing! Do not take my delay in writing this review as any reflection on her, but rather my extremely busy schedule as a medical student. Hiral had not only amazing designs, but she was able to incorporate both of my wrist tattoos in a way that did not appear awkward or ill placed. I worried about that but she made the designs work. She also took my requests for elephants and peacocks and seamlessly gave me two different palm designs. While it took longer than expected, she was completely willing to stay longer to ensure that my mehndi would look beautiful for my wedding day. She also makes her own henna using all natural ingredients, showing how much she pays attention to the details, so that she can help you have the best dark stain. She is very specific in her aftercare instructions, but she gives you a goody bag with everything you need including a special balm and wrap to use overnight. I was diligent and followed the instructions and was rewarded with a beautiful deep stain that lasted for a couple of weeks and got me compliments everywhere I went! My bridesmaids and family had their henna done by her assistant and were also very happy with their work. Overall, I was so thrilled by this service and you can tell Hiral is a true artist. Her work should be considered art, and I could not have asked for anyone better.

Hiral was such a pleasure to work with and very flexible in terms of needs and timing. I love the intricate work she does and the henna stain came out really dark. I was getting compliments wherever I went and my husband enjoyed looking for the letters of his name :) I highly recommend Hiral and would definitely work with her again if I get the chance to.

    Intricate details on the hand.

She came on-site a few of days before the celebrations to do my bridal henna, along with designs for my mom, my friend, and small designs for my husband and dad. She took so much care with every detail and never rushed, making the whole experience feel relaxed and special. My bridal designs came out absolutely stunning -- intricate, elegant, and exactly what I hoped for. Loli uses natural henna and she provided clear after-care instructions. The stain developed over the next couple of days into a very deep color that everyone kept complimenting! (Pro tip: get your henna done a few days early for the darkest stain.) One thing I really appreciated is how thoughtful she was even after she finished -- she stayed and took photos of all our henna, which was so sweet and gave us such special memories to look back on. For the last 20 years of my life, I've been a habitual eyebrow wax type of girl. I started getting my brows waxed in the back of nail salon, then upgraded to a real aesthetician. And now that I've tried KD threading, I don't think I could ever go back. Here's some things you may want to know from a first timer like myself... 1) Did it hurt? Yes. But the pain is tolerable and worth the final result! 2) How long did it take? I let my brows grow out for nearly 6 weeks before I came to my threading appointment. The appointment took MAYBE 15 minutes... and my brows came out in the best shape they've ever been. 3) Cost? On this visit, I paid $20 for the brow threading and and extra $10 for a roller tube of castor oil to promote healthy hair growth plus a 20% tip because she deserved it--my brows truly still look amazing and I'm already almost 3 weeks out from my appointment. I highly recommend giving KD Threading a shot if you are in the business of brows and want to step away from traditional waxing! The vibe is definitely upscale yet chill and 100% worth the trip.

After she finished, I noticed they were threaded extremely thin which was not something I asked for. Toward the end of my second visit, she again mentioned that my brows were "different" and asked if I had been plucking them (I had not). I thought that was a strange thing to say after I felt her go to town on my brows. When I looked in the mirror, it became immediately clear why she was saying that. My eyebrows were completely uneven, different shapes, and about one-third of one eyebrow had been threaded off entirely. What was most upsetting was the lack of accountability. There was no acknowledgment of the mistake, no apology, and instead it felt like she preemptively tried to feed me negative comments about my brows to cover up the hack job.
