Maaz did a wonderful job on my wedding henna! I hired them to do my wedding henna as well as smaller designs on the guests at my henna party, and they did a phenomenal job. They did both hands and feet for me with stunning designs, clearly incorporated what I said I was looking for, and worked SO quickly. They finished (admittedly smaller than some bridal henna I've seen, only to just past my wrists) in maybe 2.5 hours, and took another hour/hour and a half to complete 8 or so smaller designs. Their pricing was extremely reasonable, much less than other artists and the quality was unbeatable. I left the paste on for about 4 or 5 hours, but the paste was getting itchy and I knew I wouldn't be able to sleep with it on, so I took it off after that time, and still got a beautiful dark stain that lasted for about a week. If it makes sense for you, I definitely recommend scheduling your henna in the morning so you can leave the paste on for more of the day to get an even darker stain, but mine was gorgeous even after just a few hours. read more

I've really enjoyed working with Maaz on my henna. The work is very intricate and fine, it looks absolutely beautiful in the end! I got mine done in the evening and slept with it over night and it still got beautifully deeply colored 2 nights later for my party. I had bridal henna, hair, and make up done by Maaz for my wedding. His henna is absolutely exceptional and I've never seen anything else like it. His work is both intricate and unique. He is also able to produce designs on the fly depending on what you like - devotional figures, animals, etc. He spent 5-6 hours on my bridal henna for both arms and legs. He did two trials for me for my make-up to ensure that he had the right shades and types of make-up for my skin-type which definitely put me at ease. He knew exactly what to do to make me look great in person and in the photos. His assistant did my hair but he was directing her every step of the way to make sure it was done well. I had asked for a very specific hair style for my Indian wedding which he was able to produce perfectly. Only con in my opinion was his professionalism - I expected him to be more responsive over phone and email in the weeks leading up to the wedding which he was not able to do. His salon was also a bit dirty and uncomfortable. If you can somehow bypass needing to go to his venue, this won't affect you. But once he is at your venue - everything is great. He shows up on time for each event and produces the highest quality I could have expected. Thank you Maaz! read more
