This is an interesting thrift store! It's a little dim and Dingy looking on the inside, but I found men's silk ties for a dollar apiece. I also found name brand only slightly used men's dress shirts for two dollars each! It's a treasure trove if you don't mind digging through items. This is a faith based thrift store. It is kind of messy inside, but most items are quite cheap. If you like to dig you can find some nice items. Many items are not marked so I'm not sure how you know what to pay. I did see some end tables I wanted to purchase, but they were already sold. Also, they blast annoying Christian music. I would go back. The one employee I spoke with was very friendly and items sold here goes to a good cause. read more

I've been donating good quality items to His House and have decided to stop when I see how they trash donations and are careless with donations. The people handling donations appear to not care at all. Not a worthy place to donate good used items, IMO. read more

The His House store in Lexington, off of 378 is the store to go to. The guy there is very friendly and keeps his store running top notch. The store on Augusta road is the last place that you want to go to. Rev. Walker is a sarcastic person and inflated his prices compared to the store in Lexington of 378. My advice to anyone that wants a friendly run store and very fair prices is the store in Lexington off 378!!! read more

I love love love this thrift store! Definitely have to do some digging but every time I go I always find some sweet gems. Lots of vintage, records, some really nice furniture, etc. Give yourself some time when you come so you can really look! This is a thrift shop with a real purpose, to help serve the community. I gave it 3 stars because many of the items were very ruined. If you have the energy and time, dig through the old furniture in the back, there were a few gems in there that you could fix up and the prices were great. This store was hard to find, the address on the Yelp site (4657 Augusta Rd) was wrong, it's actually 4357 Augusta Rd. I went to the 378 location in Lexintong in the 29072 zip code. Buyer beware: Inside of the store smells like cigarettes so be wary if you have allergies or asthma and are buying cloth or fabric items. read more

I commented on His House about a year ago. I just wanted to make another post. I went there again today and I just want to say this place is so amazing again. I bought a beautiful knit blanket for 2 dollars and they sell for almost 100 dollars online. I am so happy. I also got a few beautiful vintage shirts and walked out paying 13 dollars in all today. I love the staff and the place I swear is just amazing. Please go check this place out and give this place some love. Their prices are amazing and your purchase goes toward a great cause. read more

So, I love thrifting and I don't mind having to rummage through things to find treasures. They have an outdoor portion that you pretty much rummage through. The outdoor area always has a great selection of old windows, doors, large desks and lighting fixtures (under a carport like area). This is my first stop when I go there. The indoor portion is a decent size. It is fairly well organized. The household/random area is a great place to find vintage dishes, sets or mismatched (I love this section!) I wish the "random" section was a little bigger though. There is a book room and a record room. One thing you can always count on at this thrift store is a great variety of vintage, in all sections! They have a smallish section of clothes but then you move on to furniture which they always have a fantastic selection of vintage furniture! After the first section of furniture (there are two areas), you step down into a room chock full of lamps, mostly single chairs of all kinds and a plethora of vintage wall pictures and frames. They always have a free section outside near the furniture pickup area too. Everyone is super nice and the prices unbelievably cheap! You're helping a good cause when you shop there as well. If you are in the area, stop by if you love this kind of thrifting! The ONLY thing is, if you have asthma, be careful. The air overall is kinda dusty I guess, I had a major asthma attack once. read more

My absolute favorite thrift store in the area. I drive about 30 minutes to get to it but it's worth it. If you like the messy kind of thrift stores that involving digging, this is for you. There is more vintage stuff then new stuff which I think is awesome. Not to mention it's dirt cheap and they will cut deals, it's not like goodwill. They also have a lot of old windows, which are perfect for Pinterest projects. The only negative is that they don't put out new clothes very often. I have just a couple things to say about this place. The stuff there is typical thrift store stuff.... priced very well! But more importantly the pople there are very giving, and humble. My husband recently had to go into a Wheelchair and at the time we could not afford one. I heard through a friend that she had seen them at His House and to go look there. When i told the man at the desk what i was looking for... the took me to a room with all kinds of medical equipment from wheelchairs to walkers... and told me to take what we needed. He said i could make i donation if I could afford to for whatever i needed from the store. And also while I was there i noticed an employee walking around with a Young mother and her young children who had just lost thier home to a fire. She too was being told to take whatever she needed! WOW.. this is charity at it's finest.... .and we should all support any establishment that is giving back to our community in that way..... HIS HOUSE ROCKS! -Blessed read more

So very thankful for all that His House does for people in SC. They really have come through for people I know and you never know when something will happen and you need them. You have something you don't want or need anymore. Give it to them so they can help others. An ok place there was this man at the back who agreed on selling me a bike for 40 and then another man came in like an ass hole rude as shit saying "No I want 50 it's looks new" in a ride tone and the bike doesn't look new tf I don't think I'd come back here anyone don't recommend on buying out in the back maybe the front but in the back I do t recommend. read more
