I was not informed in advance that 9:00 AM was the only time breakfast would be served or that there would be no alternatives. For the price, this location did not meet expectations. I would not return and would not recommend it to others. You can spend your money elsewhere and have a much better experience.

There was one lightbulb burnt out in our room and three lightbulbs burnt out in the bathroom. The panel covering the bathroom sink bottom had fallen off. The towels were cheap white fabric and not classy. One of the bannisters on the spiral staircase rail was loose and wobbly that could cause a tripping accident. There were lots of spider webs on the boat's exterior and a stain on the cushion of a deck chair. Breakfast was almost inedible because the hash browns and mini quiches were blackened and burnt. Skip the breakfast! The cabins are still unique, but be aware to arrive with low expectations as far as being a guest-ready B & B.

I took advantage of the SPAC- Saint Paul Athletic Club facilities while I was there- Sauna, Steam room, and pool. Sad they didn't have a hot tub, but I made due. This is a hotel that you can go to and be very low key. They don't have a restaurant on site but their continental breakfast is a great deal. Everything was fresh. Continental breakfast was fine. Lots of toiletries and kitchen sink and kurig to make coffee. I think it also had a small fridge. I would have preferred a larger bed and not all the other stuff. Sleep and convince of the green line is the only reason why we stayed here. Love the beautiful door to get to the walkway system from the 2nd floor. Too cool. The pool and gym are awesome as well. Adult only so you don't need to worry about kids slashing and crying.

You could tell they needed more help since the line to drop off my keys was 30 minutes at one point. The management did apologize to everyone in line for the wait and ended up reimbursing the valet daily fee for waiting so long. Despite the slow valet service, I had a great stay here and would visit again!

The room was very clean and quiet, other than some street noise. The location is in downtown but a quieter area but an easy walk to restaurants and bars. Breakfast was typical HP style and quality. If ever back in St. Paul, I'd stay here again.
