Working with Jole at the gun counter I was told I could not hold the gun with out the trigger lock on it. The trigger lock had a cable connected to the counter. I get it. They don't want someone running out with it. However Jole had already asked for my ODL and had it behind the counter. I told him he could also hold my wallet and money if he like but I needed to hold the gun with out the lock on it to see if it fit my hand. nope. No can do. I told him I geld very disrespected ! he treated me like a thief. With the great feeling of disrespect, I just encountered I will be taking my business elsewhere to a completely different store for all of my needs.

I understand it is new ownership, I think it can be a profitable business and nice addition for the City of Keizer. There's about 6 grass tee areas and about 20 mats, a nice putting green but it was closed. They need to add more targets, like 55 gallon drums angled toward the mats at maybe 75 yards, 150 yards, etc. One driving range I've gone to has themed targets, like pumpkins on haystacks for Halloween, turkey stick-in-the-ground decorations (Walmart about $2 each) Christmas themed targets for Christmas. It's a very nice driving range for the local area. No need to travel far to get golf practice in.

At Dick's, I found a case which indeed contained optics, and among the off-brands, found two pairs of Nikons, both priced lower than the nearby W***m***, and one of better quality. The very helpful salesperson allowed me to open the boxes and look through both. I was able to make a selection and I was very happy with it. I added ONE extra word in the model name that wasn't there, "extreme black ops" instead of "extreme ops" and the manager that I talked to said they had the knife. I drove all the way there from Salem to find out that he thought I meant the something "guard" knife... I was so extremely irritated. A couple days later I go to this store, not expecting to find my knife. And it turns out they have ONE left. I told the manager my story and he was MORE than happy to sell it to me and went the extra length to make it completely worth getting it at this location. He was extremely friendly and nice and went out of his way to search for me. Not to mention they have THE BEST prices on knives. The manager of the Lancaster St Big 5 was super great and exactly how managers should be, although they are far and few now a days. He should get a raise for sure!
