The driver said I should call about pricing because he won't be towing and I called the guy Eli but he was very upset that I asked for a price reduction since I'm not being towed. He refused to reduce the price and in my 6 years of owning my own truck and calling out service if the service is less every single company has adjusted the price accordingl. This guy was extremely rude and arrogant and hung up in my face several times through this deal. I called multiple other companies and no one else was available quickly or at all (this was a Sunday night). I called his service - City Wide Towing - and immediately got ahold of Rick. Rick was polite, professional, and got to me in ten minutes. His tow rate the lowest of the couple options I had (and between the two, he was the only one free to meet me ASAP). I thought my car was needing to be towed (it had failed during the multiple attempts to jump it with jumper cables), so the only conclusion I could think of was a dead battery. When Rick arrived, I was in an upset and nervous state after being by myself on the side of the road, with night time approaching, and after having fumbled through other failed options. Rick was extremely reassuring and helpful - he was patient with me as I explained my situation, and he asked if he could attempt to jumpstart it himself. Voila! (My car battery is in a really weird place and very difficult to attach cables to). Even if my situation would have necessitated a tow, I still would have felt very comfortable working with Rick. Not 15 minutes later a driver from Cathey towing showed up to get the van to the shop. He even gave me a ride home when he noted there was no one there to pick me up. We finally found another mechanic and today We were told that 4 coils needs to be replaced and that fixed the problem. I'm wondering if he even did any work on the car.
