Murphy's on-site RV repair was able to get us in the next day. The tech, Mark was excellent. Diagnosed a locked up compressor on the bad a/c unit and serviced the other two units. A replacement unit was ordered and delivered the next day. Murphy's let us camp in their parking lot overnight with electric and water. The next day the new a/c was installed and we were on the road by 2pm. Nice friendly folks. We received excellent care and service as well as fair pricing. Super friendly folks. This is a small business that we were glad to support. They service many campgrounds in the Wisconsin Rapids area with mobile rv techs.

Adam quickly isolated the problem to be a short/break between the fuse box and a connector located prior to the fan. When the fan was not connected, the voltage at the fan input was 13.8 V. But when the fan was connected, it dropped down to approximately 3.6 V. He ran a separate wire between the two points which fixed the problem (since the intermediate wiring was not easily accessible). Adam was very personable and easy to work with during this repair. I am definitely going to keep Happy Camper Mobile RV Service on my short list for any future RV repairs!

Remarkable service! Rob is apparently a local institution as Mr. Fixit. (A local RV dealership…read morerecommended him.) Mr. Fixit is the chosen vendor for the Countryfest and other Chippewa Falls events, supplying their rental RVs, getting them ready for people to just show up and start camping with no set up. Our issue involved what we thought was our pump going out. We called Rob's service and Rob stopped by our rig between setups. He could've just replaced the the pump but he knew immediately that our problem was our batteries needed replacing. He actually had 2 12-volt batteries ready. He had everything done in under a half-hour and his rates were very reasonable. And he's a very nice guy. Rob definitely saved our festival experience. If you're at a festival there or just in the area and you have RV servicing needs, you MUST call Rob at Mr. Fixit.
