So sad to write this review. I have been using this company for over 10 years. I have been satisfied in the past, but with my most recent filing of 2024 I am questioning my past returns and should have always looked them over more carefully. I have always provided all w2's and 1099's and broke down expenses very carefully so it was easy for the Tax preparer. My husband has been very ill, and has had a large amount of medical expenses. I sent everything over only for 2024. Thank goodness I kept all the information, because It had been weeks with no call. When I checked in they could not find any of the documents anywhere. They had lost it! They provided me a secure portal the 2nd time around, and I sent it again! Mind you I have not accessed or have had any of my 2023 tax info out since January 2024, so there is NO WAY I could have submitted that information to them with the 2024. When they filed it stated that my husband had income in 2024. I knew that was incorrect!!! My husband had only worked 4 days in 2023, but was in the hospital almost all of 2024 with absolutely no work. When I told Tammie the tax preparer she continued to argue with me that the numbers don't lie and he did to work! I asked her to provide the document that states this. It turns out she was inputting the #'s from 2023. She stated she fixed it, and went ahead and filed. My federal excepted and paid, but California questioned it, and when I called they said it needs to be amended as it was filed with 2023 withholdings. When I informed them of this Tammie continued to argue with me via email that it was done correctly, and she can not get to until after tax season. I have emails of rude replies in CAP LETTERS AND !!!! I paid them to have my taxes done and they couldn't even try to help me with out being defensive! When they were the ones at fault. When Tammie told me I was responsible for my taxes too. I agreed that's why I have done my part. I paid them to do them correctly! She replied Wow just wow! She stated she decided to give me a little grace cause I have a lot on my plate! Who says that! What unprofessionalism! I could not believe it! I asked for my records and documents as I would find someone else to help me. She never replied, but all of a sudden had time to amend the taxes. Turns out she did file with 2023. She left me a message stating her mistake that the 1099 was in the forms I sent over which was not the case! Again no accountability. In the amended tax return, she stated I provided the wrong info, which I can look at the documents I sent and that was not the case! She said she is sorry I felt she was unprofessional, but has 23 other clients that think she is. I now question the filing entirely, and to have someone check and amend it will be costly! I am already out the money I paid them. If she would have just checked from the get go, and amended it and listened to me, but no it took me saying I will go somewhere else. Then miraculously she had time to address it. I am a very professional person! What ever I have on my plate in my personal life does not effect how I treat people. I could not believe someone that is handling taxes, etc. could throw that in someone's face when all I wanted is her to do her job. Save your self the headache and find someone else that cares! read more

I am giving a 2 star rating because upon arrival the office seemed clean, organized, and professional. The business had come highly recommended from close trusted friends. We were greeted warmly and offered beverages. My opinion of the business greatly declined when we were told our tax preparer was running over an hour behind. Now please realize I understand that life happens and unexpected events may have arose. My problem was that we had scheduled the appointment over a month prior, we drove an hour to get there, and we never received a courtesy call letting us know of the need to reschedule. They simply assumed we would be willing to come back and sign paperwork after never even having met the man preparing them. I'm not sure what they expected to charge us for terrible service such as that, but needless to say we will be looking elsewhere. A very disappointing experience. read more
