And, I got a good price quote for doing the work. I also had a few trees near the house I wanted to be cut down. When I showed them to Jason, he immediately confirmed that the one being killed by ash bore definitely needed to come down, but asked why I wanted the others to be cut down. He recommended trimming some of the branches near the house, and otherwise letting the healthy trees live. I presume that because he is so busy that I've had to wait for him to service my trees. He's always been worth bothering wait. After the last big storm, my neighborhood was particularly damaged by the falling trees. One of my neighbors was hit by two very large trees. They called Steve at 5:00 am and Steve was there with his crew getting the majority of the damage taken care of that morning I had two trees that were leaning badly but posed no real threat to my property or my neighbors Steve told me that I would have to be patient but a lot of properties were in worse condition than mine and I had to wait about three weeks for him to be able get to me. We had another storm a two weeks later that brought down some limbs and I was concerned about damage to my home and my neighbors. I didn't have to wait to call. Steve anticipated my call because he was there the next morning. What a relief! Damage control is a big part of the tree business and I know how difficult it must be to manage it. I know that it may be hard to appreciate for some folks what aren't used to waiting fo service. I can't say how glad to have Steve in my address book.

Recently I asked Redmiles tree services to trim some of the trees around my house. Came to find out David is not around anymore. All I can say the service was not the same. The job was not completed on the first day. Workers did not clean the area before they left. I gave the young guy who was running the job a check. When I had a chance to inspect the work I was not satisfied. Call ed my bank and stop the payment. I called the company and asked them to come back and finish the job. They came back next day and finished the job but still did not clean the area as David used to do and any other contractor will do. As a mater of fact the young guy argued with me and gave me variety of excuses, why they can not clean. This experience cost me the fee for their service, fee for stopping the payment with the bank and another $200 for someone to spend several hours to clean the mess. In addition they damaged and destroyed some of the plants and ground covers in the back yard. I guess you can say my experience with this company was less than pleasant and very costly. Needless to say I will never use Redmiles again.
