I hired Pillars of Earth to do snow removal at my new house before I moved in, three times over…read moreabout a month. (I didn't move in right away because I was having renovations done.) They promised to take photos of their work, so I wouldn't even have to travel to the house to make sure it was good. The first time, I had forgotten to leave outdoor lights on, so they were unable to clear the stairs down to the basement door in the dark, but they came back and did that the next day. The photos were a little delayed, but when they arrived, showed that Pillars of Earth had done a wonderful job clearing the snow in all the areas I asked (sidewalk, pathways up to the door, the garage, around the side of the house). There was a little bit of ice in a couple places but enough clear path to walk on. This was confirmed when I went to the house a little later on. The second time, they did a great job again, absolutely no complaints, and they sent photos again. The third time, I gave them very little warning, as I wanted the paths to be clear in time for moving day. I didn't hear back until after they had already done the work, the day after I requested it. They had taken photos as usual, and they didn't even charge me, as a housewarming gift! So in short: Pillars of Earth does a great job of removing snow, receives payment by etransfer, works on pretty short notice (generally a couple days), and is happy to do special things like taking photos of their work. The person I booked with, Tony, communicates by email and text (but not phone, due to lack of hearing, which is fine by me), and is very pleasant and nice! I definitely recommend Pillars of Earth for snow removal, and I'll be looking into their winter plan where they come whenever needed for a monthly fee.

It's all around been great with only one hiccup. We spend a fair amount of time out of town and have a large driveway so we expect it cleaned for while we are home and away. For safety, ease of access and to make sure it looks like someone is home. The work is top notch and only once have we had an issue. The morning cleaning of snow was scheduled to start no earlier than 7 am and one morning they were doing it at 6:30. We let them know not to and ever since things have been great. They lack the ability to see they are spending Your $$ and never seemed bothered about it even though they knew we were not happy. I fell for the showmanship of the owner and the appearance of their brand, exhibitions and website. It is an illusion! We entered into a landscaping contract with TGO to provide us with a bespoke rear yard design, patio, hand built pergola, lawn and edging. They charged more than their competitors I had received quotes from, but I thought I was paying for their quality and expertise. No communication or engagement from the "operations manager" who frankly couldn't manage his way out of a paper bag! That led to the unexpected delivery of supplies and equipment without any of the workers at my property to direct the process. As a result my property was damaged by supplies being left in the wrong places. The carpentry on my pergola was uneven, unsightly and dangerous. The wood was cracked and split where the screws were placed and there were multiple loose nails and screws for my dogs to get injured on. We wanted to Get this company out of our lives as soon as possible so requested they waive the remaining $500 so I could arrange for the repair of my property myself and not leave it to them. TGO agreed to that but did not say by doing so I would have no warranty for the work done. My patio sank again after 7 months and the stones themselves had eroded and broken In the thaw of winter. TGO got the patio manufacturer to deliver new stones but they refused to provide the levell and installation of the new stones. They voided My warranty without consultation or advice of doing so. They are in breach of contract and refuse to engage in mediation. I am left with a $30k debt and a patio I have to shovel water off of every time it rains. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
