This store is chronically understaffed. Ignacia was the checkout person and she kept waving people over to her line saying "next in line" but refused to take my husband and I next, though we had been waiting 15 minutes and the other people were behind us. FINALLY we scooted over to her line but by the time we got there another woman cut in front of us. I explained to the cashier what she had done and she was so beyond rude I couldn't believe it! It shocked me. She said, "the other customer has the right to choose whether you cut in line." We didn't cut. We had been next for a WHILE but the initial people in front of us had a huge order of glass and ceramic items that needed to be wrapped individually. Because Ignacia let the customer choose, which was highly unusual and inappropriate, the customer said no and that I lied about being next in line at the other register. What shameful behavior on the part of this cashier! Long story short. We ended up checking out with her after the customer needed items wrapped as well. The cashier rolled her eyes at us when it was our turn and didn't even tell us the total of our order. She just stood there. I spend a lot of money at HL but will now be giving my business to Michael's and Joanne Fabric. It's just not worth it coming to HL anymore. read more

I really hoped this Hobby Lobby would be great, but since we were checking out as the store was closing, the staff was rude and rushed us to the end (proceeded to not engage in conversational questions asked by us). Then when we had a question about our purchase, the staff did help us! However, the signs we asked about were extremely misleading which meant we bought something for a higher price than expected. I needed picture frames! I was hesitant to come to HL, because I didn't think I could find a good price and I did not need fancy frames. I did, however, need different sizes. Luckily for me, their frames were 50% off! Some of them were a bit pricey, but they had some simple ones that were just perfect for my needs. This store is HUGE and can sometimes be difficult finding someone if you need assistance. However, their customer service has always been great whenever I have been in, and they have good sales. The only negative really, they we're putting out pumpkins. It is June 12. You can't get a jump on fall before Independence Day. That's just wrong. read more

Every other week different departments go on sale (50% off). If what you're looking for is not on sale one week, wait a week and it will be 50% off next time! I never ever come here but I had time to waste and was next door. I always thought it was expensive but to my surprise a lot of items in certain section were 40 % off. I only bought a Cactus cutting board and it was $4. I was glad I came here after so many years when I need some home decor I know where to check first. read more

This location is like the mother of all Hobby Lobby's. It's absolutely HUGE and a bit overwhelming, but they have sooooo much stuff that you can't help but have a good time browsing (unless you have some sensory overload issues like I do... I needed a break). But the point is that it's a really fun and well-organized store and I was surprised to see so many staff members browsing around. I feel like at other locations I almost always have to hunt down an employee when I need help locating something. But this location was super on top of it and had employees round every corner available to direct. You need directions, too... Seriously they should pass out maps at the entrance. You can always find items on sale for 40-50% off at Hobby Lobby, and if you have the app you can get 40% off a regular priced item once per day per person. Woo!! read more

Just like shopping at a Walmart...80 registers & only 1 open with a long line. This happens EVERY time I try to shop here! Finding an employee who is able to help you find something is a rarity. Half the items are over priced & you have to use a coupon or wait until there is a sale to get items at a reasonable price. & then there's the owner who removes antiquities from other countries illegally for his own museum & tells his employees to keep working when Covid19 hit because his wife had a visit from God saying everything was going to be ok. This is one of the biggest Hobby Lobby's I've ever been in! Wow. Tons of home food and lots of displays. Their clearance section is huge with all kind of outdoor gear and it's priced to make you want to go get a Truck and load it up!!! There's so much going on in here. I had to walk about the store for about an hour and still didn't cover everything lol!!!!!! The section for crosses is not that big. However every holiday you want to celebrate ....it's all there. They have amazing displays too of how to put it all together. The lady that greeted me at the door got my basket for me and said have a BLESSED Day!!!!! Glory to God.....I loved that!!!! I use this store for all my crafting and decor projects. I bought a Cricut machine from them several months back and it started making a grinding noise. I was told it is under warranty through the cricut company so I called cricut and they told me the machine is registered to another party and I was sold a used machine so that voids the warranty. Now I have a used machine that won't work properly and spent $350 on something I won't get to use:( read more

My daughter just Called me from the Arlington tx location , letting me know that the manager was following her around in the store ,employees kept giving her ugly looks , she was just looking around some stuff to make earrings to make me something for Mother's Day and my daughter has MONEY , so their should be no reason for y'all following her around for !? I thought hobby lobby is suppose to be kind and nice . Not today I guess for them to make my daughter that uncomfortable for her to leave and she was going to come back but after the manager started to record her , for what ? Cause of what she's wearing or how she looks , y'all people think she's a criminal or something . I have called and the managers and employees act like nothing went on in their store this morning following my daughter around and taking videos of the car and of her . The other day my husband and I, like any other day, were in the store shopping for house items because we just bought a brand new home. We bought a large art picture that couldn't fit it in our car that we drove that day so the check out lady said they could hold the picture for us until we came to pick it up in our SUV. So, we paid for it and came back a few hours later to retrieve the picture. We do not live close to the store so it was a little inconvenient to have to drive all the way back up to the store and put us on a time crunch because we had to get back home to pick our son up from the bus stop. We had just enough time to pick up the picture and return home but when my husband went inside the store the salespeople waisted a good 15 to 20 minutes of our precious time being disorganized and rude. When he first went in and informed the first person he was there to pick up a picture that we had bought earlier and that they were holding for us, they directed him towards Exchange and Returns. That person told him to go talk to the cashier next to him and she would know what to do. Then after talking to her she proceeded to call a CSM but then decided to send him to the very back of the store to pick the picture up in the Custom Frames Department. He asked her why he needed to go all the way back to Custom Frames when it was just a picture he bought in the store but was too big to take home at the time. She continued to tell him that was what he needed to do if he wanted his picture so, even though he was highly annoyed, he went on ahead and walked back there. When he got back there the Custom Frames lady told him she didn't know what he was talking about and did not have the picture back there. She started to send him back to the front, when he told her that he had already been dismissed 3 times already and that she was the 4th person he had talked to and that she needed to fix the problem right then and there instead of trying to do what the others had done by giving him the run around. So, she got on her walkie talkie and asked a manager to call her on the phone. She proceeded to tell the manager what was going on and that someone needed to find where they hold pickup items and take care of him right away. So, my husband walked back up to the front, the manager met him up there, called to the warehouse, where they keep pickup items, told them his name then someone brought the picture up to the front. The problem that I have is why employees that work at Hobby Lobby do not know the procedure of what to do when a customer comes in to pick up their items? Going through all of this confusion caused my son to be left outside by himself with the potential of being kidnapped or worse. This is very unacceptable customer service and I would have expected more of this store than for my family to be treated like second class citizens. My husband is in the United States Air Force and fights for all of our freedom everyday and I would think he would have been treated a little bit better than he was when he went into the store to retrieve the merchandise we had already purchased. This has definitely changed our outlook and opinion of how this Hobby Lobby runs its store and it's service to customers. read more

While their prices couldn't be more competitive and they are most women's dream come true AND they have a gift for everyone you can't think of something unique to get, the service here stinks. I've been here multiple times, as in over 20. I'm a huge fan of the brand and the store but for goodness sakes! (1) the store is huge and if you ever can't find something- you have no hope unless you can track down an employee and then they always act annoyed because they have little jobs they are supposed to be doing instead of having employees just walk the floor and help customers. (2) there are very rarely enough cashiers. By very rarely, I mean, if there were ever enough it was a time I must not have gone. (3) they have an archaic POS so if something you have doesn't have a price tag- forget it. read more

The frame department here is excellent. We go there when we need great frames for pictures. I went there alot before I moved, my mom still goes there and I sometimes go there when I'm in town. Our favorite person in that section is Robin. I think she's the manager. She does an excellent job, has patience, is very kind and really knows what she's doing. We're always happy with the service. Even when they make a mistake with a picture or it gets damaged by accident...they fix it so well you can't tell anything happened. She's pretty honest about it too. She tells us if something messed up but assures us that it will be fixed and ready when she says. Sometimes we buy frames on our own but majority of the time, we go to her. read more

I absolutely love Hobby Lobby, but this location has the worst service and some of the rudest people (stay away from Madison/Madeline). Every time, there is only one person working the fabric dept and you have to stand in line at least 30 minutes to get it cut. If you ask for help, you're told that you will just have to be patient because there is only one employee able to do that job. It's ridiculous. read more
