I went here thinking it was a grocery store. WRONG! This place is a weird combination of over priced furniture and food and drink oddities. They had some interesting wine and beer, as well as some snacks and candies I had never seen before that looked good, but the vast majority of the store is taken up by expensive furniture and knick-knacks, none of which seemed super high quality or useful for me.

One of my favorite stores in the entire world- next to the Container Store! I only pop in for a few things and I almost always come out with something from every part of the world. A few items I remember from my childhood in Germany and then it's off to another part of the world, to pillows then coffee mugs, wines, and dinnerware. One time I purchased and table and forgot the truck at home, lol! Needless to say, I've been to both locations twice in the last two weekends and I already have plans on going back.

This place is a an awesome introductory place to stuff available around the world. Let me emphasize INTRODUCTORY. I would never touch their rice noodles made for pho (it just looks old) but I do like their huge array of kitchen ware and condiments. They carry Vegemite! I wished their tea selection was larger but then again, their beer and wine corner is very thorough. I guess that's where their expertise lie. I would love to stock up a picnic basket full of their little travel packs of Nutella and water crackers but they're so expensive. 99 cents for barely a tablespoon of hazelnut goodness. I could get a huge jar for $7. If it was socially acceptable, I would just carry around a jar of Nutella and eat it. Kids can have their blankies and teddies, I'll have my Nutella.

    Some great finds!

Found out about it a few years ago with my friends from work, we all stopped there after lunch we got from in the Highlands.

I had a very pleasant experience with Sam's Furniture, in large part thanks to Jackie, and the…read moredelivery guys, Mike and Charles. When I first arrived at Sam's I was greeted by Jackie. She simply said "welcome," and waited to approach until it was apparent I was ready to be approached. I was a bit worried going in that it would be like the car lot experience. Thankfully, it wasn't. I saw the couch I wanted, and Jackie handily provided this information (anyone considering this place will find this helpful): Since I was a first time customer, I could get fres shipping on my items. (I didn't spend this much, so shipping was $79.99). They do finance (but I paid outright). The do not deliver on Sundays or Mondays (Yes to Saturdays). Generally speaking, the furniture is not available on site, same day. You purchase your items, and schedule a pickup or delivery. The warehouse is on Beach Street in Fort Worth. If they deliver they move in the item (even if you are upstairs like me). You can also pay to have your old item moved, $20 per item (as I did with my old couch). The game killer may be for anyone considering this place that you can't do same day. Also, if you need a Saturday delivery, you may have to wait even longer. Mine was delivered 30 mins ago and I ordered it 2 weeks ago. I have never heard of a "sofa emergency," so that shouldn't be an awful thing. The prices were very reasonable. My super swell sofa was $349. They also had a "Clearance Zone" with some good stuff! Jackie was able to communicate with me via phone following the process during business hours and handled all of my questions with ease. When the item arrived, Charles and Mike delivered, moved my old one, set up the new one, did a walk by with me to ensure quality, took photos and asked me to sign. You could tell they actually enjoyed their jobs. Thanks Sam's for making the little time I have off comfortable!

The location is awesome! The selection is a little scarce, but the prices and quality of what they…read moredo have keeps me going back.
