This is NOT my kind of store but my wife likes shopping here. Recently, I met her here after running an errand. While waiting for her to finish, I walked thorugh the store looking at what they had to offer and was a bit surprised at the variety of craft merchandise and home decor/furnishings materials they carried. Hobby Lobby is a crafter dream! Regardless of your craft of choice, this store has the pieces and parts that you will most likely need to work on your craft! Some stores are smaller than others so I would call to make sure that they have what you are looking for! At Christmas I was looking for stockings to embellish. To my great surprise, Hobby Lobby still had a good supply and they had still embellishments so that I could finish my project! I enjoy browsing through Hobby Lobby, especially when I'm feeling super creative. The have just about everything you'll need for any art project imaginable, plus they have décor, party decorations, toyish type games and things, fabric, and more. This Hobby Lobby is located across from the Polaris Mall, in a shopping complex next to a nail salon and the old Kids 'R Us, there's plenty of parking. The staff here is very friendly and willing to help out if needed. I also appreciate how they quickly call up more staff to work the registers when the lines start to get long. No one likes waiting forever when they are ready to leave. Pro tip - you can always get a 40% off coupon to use on one item (that's not already discounted). That's a major score for me. I often grab a handful of things that are on sale but I always find one item, big or small, that I can use this coupon for. Lastly, don't forget that this place is closed on Sundays. read more

I specifically came to Hobby Lobby to find fake birds to decorate for my daughter's birthday party, and I found a ton of selection in different sizes. I did think the birds were a little pricey, but I found what I wanted and got in and out quickly, so I was pleased. read more

This is a great Hobby Lobby. They typically have a lot of things in stock. I think the only thing about this location I am not fond of is the staff doesn't speak to you when you walk in or ask if you need help. This store is terrible - the customer service is appalling, the store is hard to navigate and because of their political views NEVER carry the products that I need. Jordan, the assistant manager is the rudest associate you could ever imagine. Purchased 2 items at the sawmill store and returned them two days later at this Gemini location only to be told that they didn't have those two items there so I must be returning them fraudulently.. because he didn't recognize the art work... wait what? Yep. That's the leap of logic that this genius made. We were in the middle of a perfectly normal return when because he didn't recognize the item from this cluster circle they call a store, he refused to take any of it back. It was definitely the customer is always wrong treatment. Called corporate and they found my receipt and the items just fine. I've never been so insulted or treated so badly, and over a $3 picture that I had the receipt for! Will never go back. They can close Sunday... And Monday through Saturday for all I care. I love Hobby Lobby! It's my craft store of choice because it simply has the biggest selection at the best prices. The only thing I dislike about Hobby Lobby is that it takes FOREVER to navigate every store because each one has a different layout and NONE of them have any kind of signage directing you to a particular department. Shout out to the cashier we had when we stopped in to buy some scrapbook materials the other day. She asked if we had a coupon for 40% of a single item and when we hadn't, she helped us pull it up on my boyfriend's phone and she made sure to take the discount off of the most expensive item. It saved us like $10!! I am always so thankful for when employees like that go above and beyond to make customers experiences phenomenal. While I am not a fan of Hobby Lobby's political views, they do have a great assortment of craft items at really reasonable prices. Plus, this location is very easy to navigate and the staff is very friendly. Plus I love the fact that they will let me split up my order so that I can use my coupon on a more expensive item. Came to return items that didn't work. Upon entering we were immediately approached by a manager who told us they were closing at 8 (it was around 7:45)... just seemed pushy and rude. She continued to tell people as they walked in the same thing and asked one party "is there anything you're looking for..." in an annoyed tone. Many customers at the checkout lanes were watching her continuously do this as more customers came in. Very rude and awkward experience. I will be coming back. read more

New, clean and spacious! How can you not like a brand new Hobby Lobby! It is HUGE!

Whatever time and there is seems like they're very poorly run. Each department from framing to cashiers, moves at a snail pace. I just get the feeling that nobody there really likes their job. If you are a hobbyist with an afternoon to just spend waiting in their store then this is the perfect place for you. However, if you're working individual who needs to be able to get things done in a timely matter then they are not interested in having your business. I would suggest the other hobby lobby on Broad Street, whenever I'm there I can get in and out quickly and efficiently. read more
