They allow wine, beer and champagne along with your own food. Not a lot of room to set up a spread but nice enough to have at or near your workstation to sip and graze. The staff is friendly and eager to help. (Shout out to Erin and Stacy) Some people in our group made signs, a tabletop and I opted to make a pillow cover. Each project had a custom stencil that was ordered and made prior to our arrival. What I learned was NOT to move ahead of your project prior to getting guidance or assistance. There could be a possibility you make a mistake or miss a crucial step that messes things up. Don't be afraid to ask for help or get tips and how-to's from the staff. Took a family member here for their birthday. We all picked out a piece of pottery and took them to…read morethe counter and paid. It was a Saturday, so there was a little wait for a table. Since it was our first time, they explained everything to us. We ended up being there for over 5 hours, while the birthday girl painted her piece in great detail. What was really nice is that the staff left us alone, so there was no pressure to hurry up and leave. Everyone agreed it was fun, and we'd all do it again. It only took a few days for our pottery to be ready to pick up. Overall a great experience.

They carry their own cards, book binding supplies, leather goods, aprons by AmyD, stinkybomb soaps and many more locally crafted items.

I've taken classes in competing kitchens and the experience here is far superior. Chef Mike has a great model. Diners prep ingredients and then come together to put dishes together while learning tips and techniques. The sheer number of dishes prepared each time is stunning-- between 4 and 6 different recipes each time. I always come away with at least one thing I want to try making at home. And there are plenty of dishes that have made it into our regular repertoire. Some favorites: German pork tenderloin and spaetzel, Cajun blackened fish, Irish bangers and mash, Jamaican jerk chicken and coconut beans and rice to name a few. And some classes are more aspirational. I'll leave it to the experts to make ravioli and ramen, two dishes I have more respect for. I'm better with a knife, I know the basics of building different soups and sauces, I've upped my game on holiday cooking. And mostly, I just enjoy cooking so much more and have developed confidence. Not a cook? No problem. This is a very relaxed setting. You can do as much or as little as you like. You can sip wine and stir a pot of sauce or you can get your hands dirty and knead dough or shell shrimp. Tonight we made bibimbap and banchon. It was delicious. And easy.
