With this small size the selection was even smaller. This store may be a good shopping location for RC vehicles, there appeared to be a reasonably large selection, but this is not my wheelhouse. I think the real value, and I know the variety, is found at the Kennesaw store. I selected this store due to the fact that it was 25 miles closer. There was a personal verbal attack from the manager that happened right in front of my son, and that alone says everything about the kind of environment this place allows. It wasn't just unprofessional, it was humiliating and completely out of line. On top of that, there's a clear lack of staff knowledge, like people are being put in roles they're not trained for and it shows in every interaction. The store has so much display potential but it's just wasted. Everything feels poorly managed, cluttered, and not thought through, like nobody actually cares how the place presents itself or how customers experience it. Hospitality is basically non-existent. You don't feel welcomed, you feel tolerated at best, and often just ignored unless you're part of the "right" group. There is absolute favoritism going on, no question. Certain groups get special treatment, better access, better game setups, while regular customers are brushed aside or spoken to like they're a problem. I've even seen general insults thrown at regular customers, like it's normal behavior there, which is honestly shocking. Basic customer service has completely broken down. Rules don't feel consistent, communication is poor, and everything depends on who you are or who you know. It feels cliquey, unfair, and honestly kind of hostile if you're not in the inner circle. There are also still questionable private sales and fundraising type activities happening using store space and resources, which just adds to the feeling that nothing is really being properly overseen or held to any standard. Instead of building a fair, welcoming gaming community, it feels like favoritism, ego, and personal relationships run the whole place. It's frustrating, alienating, and it completely destroys any trust in the staff or leadership. Until there are serious changes, accountability, and some actual respect shown to all customers, I would strongly recommend going somewhere else.

Helion IS a HOBBYTOWN BRAND and they are obligated to perform warranty repair on all Helion products, but this location refused to acknowledge this fact when we went in for a differential that failed within 10 packs. They where insisting we needed to contact helion, and helion insisted we needed to visit Hobbytown to have this repair performed. It ended in 2 angry customers and a angry store manager in a screaming match between each other I only purchase from here out of desperation now. Lots of toys, stuffies, and blind boxes for my little girl to get excited about. The trains in the front caught her attention and the many statues throughout the store she loved too. My wife had a good time helping me look at Gundam models and paints for my Warhammer army. We spent a good amount of time in the gaming room getting her some sleeves for her cards and checking out the books, figures, and tables set up for gaming. Ended up getting a few things and was an easy process. I think for the price of everything we got a good value cause we could have easily gotten everything online but I think part of what makes this place amazing is the passion the staff has for the hobbies, the amount of options they carry, and then if they don't have something you want (Warhammer stuff is what I was looking for) they will order it for you. We will for sure be back again cause I know I'll need more paints and I have my eye on a few models I saw in the Gundam/anime section.
