I got a very fragile, absolutely gorgeous painting from India brought it home and took it to Hobby lobby to get it framed. They exceeded any expectation I possibly could've had.. I got to see a mock up on the Computer before to help me pick out the frame and the border - I thought that was Fabulous. it just could not look any better and I am just so grateful the work is exceptional even covered the back with paper. Extremely slow check out. Not to mention I noticed one of the staff members would lick her finger to grab the wrapping paper and than touch all of my items as she continued to lick her fingers. Very kind about it. Great products, but gross!!!!! read more

If you want fabric you have to take down the heavy bolts yourself take out their hanging rod and take it to the counter. Some of these are over your head. This is unacceptable. I have never been in a fabric store that carries bolts and you have to get them down yourself. read more

Do not buy gift cards from hobby lobby, I attempted to use my gift card at the Destin location and the machine read error. I called and checked the balance and there was a correct balance of 25$. Being that I went on a Saturday I was not able to call corporate bc they are closed on weekends so I had to drive all the way back to Gulf Breeze with no solution. Just got off of the phone with the "head of corporate" and she informed me that they will not do anything to compensate my time or gas. So now I must wait until my new gift card comes in and drive all the way back to Destin to purchase my items that I had to leave behind previously bc I was sold a defected gift card! I took a large frame in to replace the glass with thick plastic. I needed two cut to fit and Amanda in the Framing Dept. helped me so much with what I needed. I got fantastic customer service! TYVM Amanda! My two pictures look perfect now. read more

Hobby Lobby employees will harass customers at closing time. 5 minutes before closing an announcement was made over the intercom that the store will be closing in 5 minutes. OK. I get that. 5 minutes later another announcement was made that the store is now closed. Not even a minute later an employee walks over to the isle and says "Hobby Lobby is closed, do you need help finding anything?" I grabbed what I was looking for and said no. When we were walking to the front an announcement was made on the intercom "3 walking toward the front door" this all was really unnecessary seeing how when I got in my vehicle it was 8:04 pm. These employees really do need to learn customer service if they work in retail. read more

Typically, I enjoy going to Hobby Lobby with my wife to get new ideas for projects and crafts. Recently I tried to find very specific supplies for my current project. I called the store in Destin and "Edward" answered. Edwards demeanor and tone was terrible from the beginning. Upon taking my call he continuously cut off my questions before hearing them completely and when I asked for recommendations of other stores to call that might have the supplies all he had to say was "Google". Usually the store is very polite but "Edward" was incredibly rude and was zero help. Edward needs a bit more training before handling incoming calls in the future. read more

Only giving one star because I can't give a zero! I love Hobby Lobby but this one is pathetic! Every time I shop in this Hobby Lobby, they do not charge the correct sale price. I just returned 4 items I bought yesterday because when I got home I realized I was overcharged! I'm done with this store! When I got here, the customer service cash register was closed! There were at least 4 or 5 people in the 3 registers that were open. Three managers were just standing in front of the store doing NOTHING!!! Then, another customer came over to the three managers and said the cashier where she was in line had been calling for change but no one was responding! Absolutely unacceptable!! Get it together Hobby Lobby!!! read more
