This location is the nearest to me and after wanting to visit it for nearly 20 years, I got the opportunity to! The sales associates were very friendly and helpful, and showed me some terrific sales. Some of the bags that were on display were also in the back, still wrapped, which they offered to me so I could get the full, new effect. I went wayyyy over my said budget (I actually came back the next day as well and made another purchase!) but it was well worth it! Dooney handbags last forever! This was my first time in a Dooney and Burke store, and I've never previously owned anything from the brand. I saw the collegiate collection, opened it, and really liked how it was made, the smell of leather, and the style. I went to Coach, but couldn't find anything close to the style. My family was on vacation and spent the afternoon shopping, I stopped in to buy a new pair of sandals for a girls trip to Hawaii. There were 4 associates working and 3 customers in the store when I walked in. I was not greeted or welcomed. I was not told about and sales or any sizes that might not be in stock. However I heard two associates telling two other women this. As I browsed, I noticed quickly that other women came in after me and were greeted and helped. They talked about their other pieces etc. Apparently in order to be helped on this store you have to appear that you are dripping in money. I guess my money doesn't spend like the other women in the store. Just because I don't flaunt it or ooze wealth and privilege doesn't mean I deserve to be ignored either by 4 unwilling people. I tried to get one person to help me and she flat walked away from me. It's rare for me to get upset but I was humiliated by elitist and uppity sales associates from Tory Burch. As I walked, the only male working asked if I found everything I was looking for. "Yup I did but no one would help me." And I walked out as freely spent my money elsewhere. I told this story to another retailer who so kind a few stores down and she had been working there for TWO MONTHS. She said she has heard this so many times she can't count them. That is outrageous and disgusting. Be better. Having money or name brand things doesn't make you better, kind, or classy.
