I love this store. Everything I need to create earrings is there, customer service is outstanding, and I found pretty yarn to knit with. I'm writing this because I started going here recently and noticed poor reviews in the past. Whatever went on then no longer applies. I was working on a project and needed some supplies and few of my friends recommended to check this out. This is a great place located in the Exton area. The parking lot is shared but huge with ample parking. You can pick up carts or small bags as you walk in the store. The store layout is very appealing and should be able to sort things out after couple of visits, also the aisles are marked well. On left hand side the seasonal art and craft supplies were amazing starting from Halloween, Thanksgiving and the huge collection of Christmas items Then it leads to the back of the store where you can find greeting cards, Stationeries and school projects and towards right back end you can see the portraits section. The store was maintained well and super clean. There were discounts on items, and the prices are perfect providing everyday value. I will definitely visit this store more. Great place!! read more

I needed some music wire that they had for much cheaper than what I could get online. When I called to see if they had it in stock, the person said yes and had it at the front counter for me. As stated in other reviews, the lines to check out are long. On another visit, I needed something from the sewing aisle. The first time we walked in here was the first time I've ever been into a Hobby Lobby. This place was going to close in under an hour and I knew we weren't going to be able to see everything. We left, but we came back another day and we were impressed by everything. We found some great seasonal items, but I still don't think we saw everything. I was impressed by all of the items that men and women would find interesting for their homes. A lot of comic book memorabilia, man cave items, and almost anything else you can think of at a craft store. read more

One of my co-workers told me about this place a couple years ago but it is kind of far away from me. One of my friends had her birthday party nearby at Round 1 so we figured it could be the perfect opportunity to go here first before her party. The time my husband suggested for us to head down there didn't seem early enough, but I went with it because I was outside planting flowers and didn't want to have to stop early and rush. Once we walked in the store I realized we should have left at least an hour earlier, the store was huge! I quickly glimpsed around but was very overwhelmed, especially with our short amount of time. My husband said we could come back the next week so I wasn't rushed, so we left. We came back about a week later. I probably spent about an hour there looking through every aisle at all the seasonal decorations. I ended up buying a couple of fall scarecrow type stake things for the ground that were on sale, a Christmas light up gingerbread house, and a couple of other little things. I was going to buy more bubble lights but they were one of the only things not on sale so we put them back. I'll have to see how good the gingerbread house works once I put it up. The scarecrows have held up outside so far. I would like to come back sometime before Christmas to see if they added any new holiday decorations. read more

This place is disgusting. Can't believe they haven't cleaned up the aisles. Legitimately saw two mice scurry across an aisle the last time I was there. Much better to shop at any other clean craft store. read more

This is my second time trying to go to hobby lobby and they have been closed due to a utility emergency.

Tonight Hobby Lobby was supposed to close at 9 pm. I needed one quick item. So, I went over at 8:47 pm. The doors were locked and the cashier was cleaning up. Even though, I know she saw me at the door, she wouldn't look my way. Doesn't 9 mean 9???? read more

I had never been in till today. Amazing selection, they have everything. I got a great deal for 2yrds of fabric, only $5. Their fabric selection is very good and the prices. They have a great selection of home decor, but I thought the prices were high, but had unusual stuff. The only thing, waited extra long in line, not enough check out people. Way too long waiting in line to pay for anything! The checkout process seems damned slow and only 4 registers open! And minimum of 6 people in lines. Get more employees at those registers!!!!!! read more

So I bought my house a year ago and have had a blast shopping for each room here at hobby lobby...everything is nicely organized in to its own separate isle by decors...a little dangerous on the wallet but I was even able to buy decoration for 2 party's one baby shower anther tea party. Did a little Christmas shopping this past December 2016 and purchased my family Santa photo for the fire place it was $100 and I got it for $50 I highly recommend going to check the out! read more

Hobby Lobby will sell you something irregular and then refuse to take it back. Just left there and dealt with the Assistant Manager Karla who is extremely rude! I have to say the manager was rude as well. No CUSTOMER SERVICE at all. It was even suggested that the cameras be viewed to see how the greenery looked when I purchased them. This place is the worst place to shop on line... I don't know how they are with customer service, but when you are dealing with them on line orders... they are the worst... I'm a new customer to hobby lobby and I placed an order for almost three hundred dollars... after going through their merchandise for hours... I finally finished my order and found out that they charge 23 dollars in shipping... so I call Cs and the nasty person I had to talk to told me pretty much that I was screwed and that I should shop on the days when they offer free shipping... which is not the days they have good sales... so I asked to speak with a supervisor thinking maybe HL will give free shipping for a new customer and fir an order that was so large... but no no an kind of discount on shipping... so I decided to make the order because the sale was a good one fit the things I wanted... my order shipped on the 4 of March it is now the 16 of March and when I called HL CS they told me I have to wait another day before they can even start a research to find out where my order is... so now I have to call them back to get a search started and I'm guessing I'll have to wait another two weeks before they find out we're my 300 dollar order is... and I'm sure I'll have to spend my time calling them to see if they found it. I will never shop at this store again... now I know why a lot of HL are closing down... their service is horrible to deal with if you are thinking of shopping at Hobby Lobby I would think twice... and go to a michaels or Joann's stores... their Cs are so much better. read more

I have had to go to the Exton Hobby Lobby store twice to return items, and both times had to wait in a long line, since there is only one register that is "allowed" to take returns. The return process is lengthy and cumbersome, and on both occasions, the cashier had to call a manager to help with the returns. I went to this store as it is new in the area, but their prices are significantly higher than Michael's or Joanne Fabrics. I won't be going back. read more

This was my first time visiting this Hobby Lobby location. Although I love the variety of items sold, their prices are definitely higher than if you went elsewhere, like Michaels or Joann's. The particular reason for my low rating on this visit, however, was the employees. There were many employees stocking shelves during my visit, many pushing items on carts. About 4 times during my visit, someone came down the aisle that I was in, pushing a cart, and I had to move out of the way to let them past. This would not have been a big deal except the employees did not say "excuse me" or "I'm sorry" or even acknowledge me. They seemed annoyed that I was in their way, which I found kind of rude. Also my cashier was not pleasant either. After I paid for my item, I said "thank you!" and she said nothing...all she said to me was "hi" and the price of my item. This location could definitely work on their customer service. read more

I was in the store the other day and asked if the wall flowers were on sale, the lady stated they would be on sale when men resign was, I saw they were and went band back today and asked again if they were on sale and was told yes they were, I went to the register and said did the discount come off and the cashier stated they weren't on sale, I said the lady in the back told me they were, she then turn around to another cashier and asked if they were and rudely the other cashier said" NO they are not on sale and never go on sale" I said the lady in the back said they were and she stated " We have new people so they don't know" It was very rude and she never went to see who the person was or even give me a discount because I was told a price, I was very unhappy with the other cashier and how she talked to me. read more
