Good prices on many things as usual. I wouldn't come here looking for superb quality but something that is on a basic level, if you aren't too keen on a specific color and trying your luck if it's sized based, if you're open to random odd flavors like the food adventurer that I know you are, then this is truly a great place for a bargain. The people here enjoy working here so much that two employees told me the pineapple Olipop flavor is the best. I sensed this and that the cherry cola Olipop I got is pretty good too just from my general Food knowledge and personal preferences. Now if only I can score tickets for a James Beard event and get selected as a well paid food consultant, then I think I am set! lol. read more

This place is kind of hit or a miss depending on what day you go. I found some comics and novels that looked pretty interesting. I picked them up. Coworkers are helpful. Bathroom was clean, but could've used more paper towels. Prices were pretty good for the candy and the snacks. There's a lot of that sea salt, shampoo, and conditioner from Israel it's not bad quality, but it's not top of the line either. read more

Whenever we visit friends in Media, we stop by Ollie's. It's a huge discount store, has pretty much all sorts of home goods stuff. We usually go thru their book section to get toddler books at a really cheap price. Usually they range from $1-$7. At times I have found other good stuff like toys, garden hose, sprinklers, stationary accessories at a very good price. The store is in general clean and tidy, items are mostly stocked. Some rare sections like books and electronics can be little messy. Most of the times there's only 1-2 lanes open, so takes few minutes to checkout. They have a membership program that offers promotional discounts. read more

I like Ollie's and have always had a pleasant experience shopping at Ollie's. The help, employees, and all who work there are helpful, and knowledgeable. I shop at the Selden location on Long Island, NY. The bargains and savings are terrific! The merchandise is by top manufacturers and there is a wide variety to choose from. I have purchased growing lights by Honeywell, the top of the line, at big savings I would estimate 65% to anything comparable. I have purchased top of the line professional grade skillets, cookware, and an air fryer, similar items online selling for up to $159, at Ollie's I enjoyed a 75% savings. If something, by chance, is defective, or If it is the wrong size and it doesn't fit, no problem, they have a no questions return policy within 30 days, just keep the receipt, and return the merchandise in respectable condition. I have returned items on occasion and no problem, either a simple exchange, if I want, or my money back. All in all I am a happy customer shipping at Ollie's. read more

SO DISAPPOINTED!!! Today I went to Ollies on John Fitch Hwy, had a cart full of things including things for my pool. I went to check out and could not find my 15% off coupon as I tried in vane. The lady told me to go into my Email and get it from there to which I also tried for approx. close to an hour. I could not get into my Email. The lady told me to go outside because sometime there isn't good service and it works better outside. I showed the lady exactly what kept coming up and said okay I will go outside and try it as suggested. I dropped my keys on the floor to which the lady was nice to bring them out to me as I proceeded to try and get online into my email. The lady then went back into the store (OLLIES) and took all of my groceries and things and put some of them back with the rest being placed in another cart with other things not mine to be put back on the shelves. I asked the lady if she could please just give me the 15% off since she knows I am a member and the 15% off is only for Members. She told me no she cannot do that. I asked to speak too a manager and she told me she is one of the managers. I said okay so can I please talk to the other manager. She told me no, there is no one else but her there. I said okay and that is when I noticed she took and put my things in that cart not mine to go back on the shelf with some things already gone. I said you actually took my things and put them back and in that cart to go back the rest of my things. The lady said you just up and left. I said no I did not you told me to go outside to try and get into my email, as you said sometimes it works better out side and I did tell you I would be right back. Also; reiterated She knew I was outside because she actually brought me my keys when I accidently dropped them in the store. I have shopped at this store numerous times since they opened in Fitchburg and thought it was a nice store. They have a sign that says the customer is always right, the customer always comes first and if you forget the rules go back to rule #1. The customer is always right but that is absolutely not true. This not so nice lady knew I had a coupon being a member and telling her it is only good until the 7th of this month, 3 more days and could have even did an override to give me (HONORED) the 15% off. I left the store with nothing in hand, mortified and upset. Biglots always had the coupons right there at the store for those who forgot or couldn't find theirs. With my Health issues I don't always get out and to be treated the way I was today by Ollies Employee; boy do I miss Biglots!!!! read more

Personally, I really like this wacky place. It's fun to dig around and the prices really are fair. I came away with some snacks and Bed Head shampoo. The staff was really friendly, which I find is sometimes hard to come by in places like this, especially on a Saturday. Overall, I was most impressed with the book selection and am itching to go back. There is an Ollie's Reward Army type program and when you sign up, you're emailed a coupon for 15% off. It's burning a hole in my little pocket. Just have to make some room on my bookshelf. read more

Going to Ollie's is like doing a treasure hunt. You never really know what you're going to find when you shop there. I found a few things for the kids and new coffee maker. Did I go in looking for those things? No. Part of the fun of shopping here is coming across an unexpectedly good price on items that you might not really need but you could use. read more

I don't attend Grand Openings, nor Black Friday, nor crowd type shopping events. But I happened to be at my son's chiro appointment about a mile away today, and I'm on the hunt for good beach toys for him. I had a hunch this would be the perfect spot to find some. I almost turned back when I saw the PACKED parking lot. People everywhere, and everyone had a huge shopping cart piled so high they couldn't steer it. I had to push myself, but I pressed on. I had only ever been to one Ollie's, and for a very brief visit. It was the Pottstown location, after picking up a primitive cabinet I bought on CL. The Pottstown location was very rural-feeling, like a Big Lots crossed with Tractor Supply, but cheaper. There was also this store called "It's Amazing" up in Westchester County that we used to visit when we saw my NY cousins, and it had all kinds of odd lots of the weirdest stuff ever. Throw "It's Amazing" into the mix, and you've got Ollie's. So right inside the doors are palettes of various overstocks, or irregulars, or buyouts, etc. Big loud-colored signs shouting about all the CRAZY deals, and a cartoon old guy, Ollie, proclaiming the return rules and such on the walls at the head of the store. There is food, like Big Lots, and similarly, it's largely junk food; cookies, sugar cereal, condiments, and basically all the mainstream brands of Acme, with red stickers on them. I don't eat this food, so I didn't look, but there were a lot of people buying it, so I assume it was a good deal. They have small appliances, patio furniture, lawn and garden, automotive, hardware, books (as in crossword puzzles and coffee table books about guns), toys, luggage, bedding, some basic clothing, and lots of rugs (the area rugs and wall-to-wall style carpet take up the whole back end of the store). If you want one of those helmets with a beer can on either side and a tube to your mouth, they have them here. If you want an old school style pool raft in the shape of an alligator or an ice cream sandwich, they have it! If you want irregular Wrangler jeans and a neon yellow hunting tee, yup, come on in! They even have 3' elaborate garden gnomes! I was happy to find the beach toys I wanted! They had over 7 options of sets, and they were all REALLY well priced $3, $5, $8, and $10 for the high quality dumptruck set. I was at Costco and Five Below last night, and their sets were no better quality/quantity for double the prices. I was really pleased. I also found some Popular Mechanics windshield wiper blades for $3 each! (They were priced from $2/Chinese no name brand up to $7 each, and they had pretty consistent stock for all sizes.) I guess I am still a little stunned by the place, and need to catch my breath from all the grabby shoppers. I will say, I just watched a YouTube review for the blades I got, and they look pretty decent. So this will be the new wiper blade go to. I also know my son is going to love his beach stuff. So there are definitely deals to be found. I don't need some of the Cowtown type stuff (no offense, Cowtown, you do you), but it's fun to look at! If I'm nearby, this will definitely be a fun place to stop! read more

So I stopped in here to see what Ollie's was all about. I think that if you are shopping for a "big ticket item," it might be worth the effort, but for smaller, everyday-type purchases, it's not worth it, unless you have time to burn. We didn't see any particularly wonderful deals and we didn't end up buying anything either - I think it's a hit or miss kind of place really. Not a TV in sight - I heard there are good deals on those but they only get a limited amount so you have to probably camp out in line all night. I've visited other Ollie's Bargain Outlets and have been disappointed. However, this Ollie's is something special. From the moment you walk in, you are impressed by the huge selection. So many aisles to wander down and look through. You could spend hours here just looking at stuff. Prices can be hit or miss, the reason for my 4 stars. There are some things, that'll make you say, "wow! That's such a great deal." And instantly throw it in your cart. For example, I love that they have such a huge deodorant and body wash section. And I always find good prices on those. Like a couple bucks for secret deodorant, love that. But, there's other things, like the snacks, candy, food, cleaning supplies. That really just aren't that cheap. I mean sure, they have a big selection, but none of it is THAT much cheaper than what you pay for at the local Walmart and the quality isn't guaranteed, since it's a discount store. Their cashiers are great. Always friendly and welcoming. Every time I've checked out it has been a fast and great experience. Overall, this place is a solid 4 stars. Check it out some time. It's a fun place to shop if you have time on your hands. read more

This place rules. They have a public bathroom and a whole book section. I highly recommend it. Everything is so cheap too. The carts are from the old Toys R Us that used to be in the building. They also have clothes food and even carpets. Check them out. ;) Right across the street is Boscovs and the AMC movie theatre but Id avoid that place until they fix the bathroom stall doors and lower their concession stand prices. I know this store is a new location with new employees but the checkout is ridiculous. Stopped by on Memorial Day to check it out. Fairly crowded but not jammed. Found a few thing I wanted then got in line. Twenty minutes later and I'm still waiting to check out. Mind you I was 6th in line. Other lines were moving along but when I went to switch more people came up to check out. Doesn't seem to have anybody patrolling the needs of the cashiers or doing anything to alleviate the lines. Got disgusted. Left my cart and walked out. Don't know if I'd go back. read more

Don't go here if you are in any kind of hurry. Only 2 registers open, both backed up with 6 or 7 people and the girl at the register is signing people up for Ollie's cards which take about 10 minutes to sign up for. Ridiculous. I stood there for 10 minutes and the line did not move at all, finally walked out never to return. Terrible terrible place. Waited 20 minutes in line to check out. When asked if they could call for help, we were told someone was on break and the manager would not help either. When someone finally showed up, he failed to help the next person in line, instead just took the person who got there fastest. Store doesn't look good either, lots of empty shelves. Prices are not cheaper in many cases. Will not go back! read more
