"Y'all's doin' some knittin? Whatcha knittin? " Oh, I almost stood there and applauded when the cashier said that to me. Cause, I love to hear the locals talk here. I heard people talking as I walked through the store. It is so awesome hearing them say, "y'all".... When you enter this Hobby Lobby, you go down a long ramp. I happened to wonder what this was before Hobby Lobby, and also wondered why other Hobby Lobby's don't have ramps. Kind of nice if you buy something heavy. I found this store very spacious, and from the ramp, it's kind of cool cause you can see the whole store from the top. I'd never been in this store, and saw the yarn, and knew where to get my needles. I packed the wrong one's. Well, cheap needles from Hobby Lobby were on sale, and I got a good deal. I wanted cheap and plastic. I found the Hobby Lobby brand well stocked, except for the double pointed needles. Heck, that's not stocked in the Kansas City Hobby Lobby, either. The yarn was about the same, the fabric selection, pretty good. The cross stitch I didn't take a good look at, but I did see some aida cloth by the yard. I saw this store accept an online coupon from someone's smart phone. I say this store is fine, in a great location. It had the regular Hobby Lobby gifts, and house items, but seemed to have alot of them. Parking seemed full, but that was for the restaurants around the strip mall. The cashier's accent was amazing. There was a lot of surprising stuff you wouldn't expect to see in a craft store here - things for your house that are ready-made - and things like puzzles and holiday decorations. And the place is huge! They didn't have a stationery section though, though they had some calligraphy pens and packs of thank you notes. And it was hard to tell what was where, because aisles aren't labeled. And it was pricey. And their bathrooms were disgusting. read more

Store is very large, and well stocked with a variety of almost everything you would need to do crafts, decorate your home, sew, frame things, purchase ribbons, etc. It had enough inventory of the items being sold. The entrance to the store is down a long ramp. I'm not sure why it's there. I would rather walk directly into the store from outside. There is a very large parking lot that is shared by all the stores in this shopping center. Sometimes difficult to find parking at meal time because of presence of a restaurant. read more

TERRIBLE customer service! I went here yesterday to get some fabrics. I am new to sewing, so going in, I was not sure how the fabric section worked. I eventually found some fabric I wanted, and I went up to the lady sitting at the table and asked her if she could cut some for me. First of all, she was annoyed that I interrupted her conversation with her coworker. I cannot describe tone through text, but just to give an idea of how rude she was to me, she never even looked up when she answered. It was obvious that all she wanted to do was sit and talk to her friend. I SOOO wish I had gotten her name, but I could not stand to look at her one more second. This is why I left without buying anything. I wanted to tell the manager there, but instead of being a Karen about it, I decided to just leave and never come back. Unless you want to be talked down to, DO NOT go to this Hobby Lobby. I have never had issues with the one in Conway. Looks like I'll keep going there instead. read more

Very well stocked and seasonal. If you have a hobby they probably have something for you. I like the that the seasonal items right when walk in. Their layout keeps changing and it is frustrating to go look for something and it not be where you'd expect. read more

Hit this place up a few times to check out some furniture and cool wall murals. They do have a cool selection of "man cavish" stuff with that corporate mass produced look however they are way over priced and could find them online a lot cheaper. It's a basic Hobby Lobby but with a awkward entrance where you start at the top and walk down a ramp to get to the store, kind of a cool awkward though. It's August and already stocked fully for Christmas! Ahh. But hey if you need a frame, shadow box, or a model airplane to throw and never see again, hobby lobby for you. Don't forget to stop by the Whole Hog Cafe next door for the best BBQ. read more

Very well stocked, for most things, but not enough clerks on the floor to help me find the items I need without wandering all over the place. I saw one clerk and he was sweeping the floor, and apparently didn't appreciate the interruption when I asked where to find something. However, when I asked the clerks at the front checkout, one of them actually volunteered to help me go back and find the item. Great prices when things are on half-price sale, which is often. Just irritating to not be able to find items quickly, and then the checkout lines were long as well, which may also be due to being Christmas season. read more

Teacher discount doesn't exist. It is a school discount. They said the only way to prove if it's for the school is to use the school card or check. Schools don't just hand out the credit card to teachers. We have to be reimbursed!!! Other Hobby Lobbies give discount. I sure wish my boss would run around town for all the teachers so they get the discount. Besides, teachers have a small spending budget and have to buy a lot of things out of pocket with no reimbursements. So thank you West Little Rock Hobby Lobby for screwing teachers out of even more of their pay checks. read more

Went there looking for some craft supplies & home decor items. Found something I wanted to buy but the package had been opened & taped back together. I asked an older woman who appeared to be the cashier's supervisor if they would discount it as it had been opened & returned. She was not very nice she basically said no & that was that. I didn't appreciate her demeanor. Many stores will give a discount on a previously opened or damaged item. I don't plan on giving them anymore of my business. With the economy being the way it is, Hobby Lobby should go out of their way to offer excellent customer service. I plan on taking my business to Michael's. read more

I am not going to shop at Hobby Lobby, much as I like it, because of their negative attitudes towards providing women with some forms of birth control. Women are the major customers of Hobby Lobby and should not go there until assured that Hobby Lobby is treating their female employees as they should be treated. It can't be a matter of $ as it's much more expensive to pay for labor and delivery, so the management is inflicting its own beliefs on their key employees. read more

I like this store,in fact I shop there all the time and this is the first time that I had a bad experience.I work on retail as well and understand that some days we are not in a good mood or have personal issues going on.However that's is not and excuse to be rude to customers I was checking out and saw the cashier name Vicki mistreat the customer in front of me.Than when I was checking out she was very rude to me as well,like she was bothered by my questions and didn't wanted to be checking people out.she was so rude that my fiancé almost said something but i didn't wanted to make a scene and just leave an move on with my night,the customer behind me saw it all and looked at me in disbelieve.I cannot believe the way this cashiers treats customers.It was a really bad experience!
