I am definitely not one to leave a negative review but I am pretty shocked with my experience. The store was fine but ELLA (purple hair) , the employee who checked us out was incredibly rude. I am a very understanding person and would usually just assume she was having a rough day. However, she proved she could be nice by talking to her fellow employee in a completely different manner than the customers. To us, she rolled her eyes, glared, and aggressively bagged our items. She never once directly spoke to us or acknowledged us other than rude glances. It truly ruined our experience . People like this should not work in customer service! read more

Upon returning a skein of yarn with receipt, I left the return with them to go and acquire a smaller gauge yarn, which I did. When I returned and entered the line to of returns. The manager (STEVE) was Extremely Rude and refused my return. This product never left the bag after purchase, I realized I had made a mistake in gauge and set it aside. The manager made his Rude approach and rejection of the sale in front of a long line of customers and I will never support this business again! Most of the business is junked up with plastic, their yarn and fabric section is failing miserably. read more

Most Hobby Lobby stores are pretty consistent and usually carry a lot of the same things with the same displays for the same great prices. If you need a low down on the store itself you may want to check out some other reviews because this review is for one special employee. Molly, you're a rockstar! I've been in 15 different locations in two weeks and not one employee stood out to me like Molly did. I called to see if they had an item and if you don't know, their system is not the same as a Target or other department stores so they can't just type in a sku and tell you if it's in stock. On top of that, their seasonal stuff changes constantly! So calling to ask if a seasonal item is in stock is a big ask. Molly didn't just blow me off like some of the others. She is the only one out of five calls that asked me for the item number so she could look it up on the site and see what it looks like. She then checked in multiple places and found a couple for me and offered to hold them for a little bit. She could've not really tried like the rest but she went way above and beyond to help me. One store told me they didn't have any on hand and I found 9 in their store in the main aisle of seasonal wall art not even hidden behind anything. So when I called this location I wasn't expecting such great service. So if you're in the area and you need wall art, snacks, floral, fabric, spring grilling items, decor, furniture, craft supplies, framing, models, birthday party supplies, or even cake decorating tools and containers.... Then stop in and don't forget to keep an eye out for sale signs. Just FYI: Molly's store is about three hours from the city I was traveling through which is why I called first. read more

I love Hobby Lobby. I don't like Andi. Andi is (shockingly enough) the customer service manager, and she's been my cashier about three or four times, and each time I walk away bewildered by her dismissive attitude and feisty behavior. Not long after Hobby Lobby opened in Pocatello, I excitedly walked through, picked out a few items, and made my way towards the checkout. Imagine my disappointment when the cashier (Andi) acted as if I was a small child, running through and knocking down displays, when I was merely trying to purchase a few, simple items. Flash forward a while later. Me and a friend each fill out a application (because I go there so often I may as well work there) and she asks to turn hers in, so a manger is called over and takes it. I come back the next day to turn mine in, and I have no other choice than to walk the dark path to Andi's register. I ask to turn in my application, and she tells me "you know we're not hiring right? But I'll take care of your application." No manager was called over to take it. (Sure hope she didn't shred it) Now here we are today. Pottery pots are on sale, so a grab some and later make my way to the checkout. And the only register open is Andi's. Yay. So she rings up the pot, and doesn't notice that it's on sale. So I kindly ask if those certain pots apply to the sale, and she snappishly says "Don't think so but I'll check." They were. Then she gives me my new total with the discount. I bought another item I could use the 40% coupon on, which I've had out and pulled up on my phone this whole time. I say that I have a coupon, and she looks at me and says as if I've now messed up the whole system and everything is ruined, "You need to tell me that before I hit the button." Okay... but I don't work here and I don't know that. I'm sorry if I'm making your job unbearable by coming in and spending my money here, but please don't treat me like a idiotic inconvenience. I've considered leaving a review or tip on Andi each time I've had her as the cashier, but I've wanted to show her as much grace as possible, but this is ridiculous! She doesn't even try to be nice, and I can't imagine she's just that way towards me. I've given her no reason to treat me the way she does, each time she's been rude and dismissive, I've waited until I'm out to the car to express my feelings about her attitude. SOMETHING NEEDS TO CHANGE. Why is she the customer serve manger? Who does she know that she got the job she has? read more
