5-6-24 Came to this location as I needed 2 yards of fabric that I am short for my project. Surprised to see the fabric at 40% off. When I went to the register the Manager was very nice and advised I could get a credit on what I purchased at another location of Hobby Lobby. To just go in with the two receipts one for the fabric and one for the total that is charged to your card. Also surprised that they give bags here for free as there other location in SC does not. I am new to the area so learning all these interesting nuances of businesses here. Definitely would come back to this location. read more

I just started coming back in this store. In spite of the fact that they are heavy Trump supporters, they spend a lot of money on supporting Trump that didn't set well with me. I stayed out since Trump became President and I thought it would be better but it's not. They have a lot of false advertising going on. If something is sitting in an area that says half off. More than one frame says half off. Then that's what it should be half the hell off but but she says the cashier. Oh, it's a gift, so it's not half off. So I'm waiting for the manager to finish running his mouth and I ask him if it's in a place that says half off and not in the guest section. Should I not be given this at the price? It says he says no, but I'll check it. This store leaves a really nasty taste in my mouth. But don't you understand that? I do shop more here often, now that Joann is closed. They have a wide variety of housewares, moderately good selection of fabrics and sewing accessories. Crafts, hobby items, artifical flowers, and more than I can put here. Their prices range from affordable to expensive in the framing department. Joann was my first go to for fabric. Their fabric selection is ok. One thing I noted, that in the majority of their merchandise is more affordable than Michaels. I don't like they are closed on Sundays but, I do understand and respect it. I always find the service very good and friendly. read more

Hobby Lobby is my favorite local art and craft store in the Savannah area. They have the best sales. I can always find what I'm looking for and they offer a great selection in almost every area. I can usually find a coupon for a regular priced item on the Internet. There is always a cashier to ring you up and they do a great job of calling in reinforcements if the lines get too long. Whatever the holiday, you won't find a better selection anywhere. They also carry fabric which is great. They have a wonderful selection of ribbons, pins, markers, paint and fake plants. I am also always impressed with the wide selection of decor they carry. It's a fun place to wonder around in and get inspiration to be crafty! They are closed on Sundays, so try them out another day. read more

Wow I wasn't expecting all the Christmas and gal stuff out already. They had a ton of stuff in store but the amount of seasonal stuff was crazy!! There were a ton of staff restocking everything which was nice BUT I was NOT happy to find the 40% coupon no long available. When I asked about it they said they got rid of the coupon so they can offer more discounts on more items.... Yeah I didn't see hardly any discounts like there used to be. Usually they had stuff 50% 40%. I saw one small section that was 30% and it was on like 4 items. Definitely not happy with the change. I rather go to Home Goods or TJ Maxx then go back to this store. read more

This location of Hobby Lobby has a pretty large variety of materials to choose. The associates are very friendly and helpful. The reason they lost a star is because it too a little too long to wait for someone to arrive in the fabric section. I essentially gave up and wandered off to the frames where I had better luck in finding someone. I would also like to shout out the cleaning people because the ladies restroom was clean and it wasn't smelly. Good job! read more

While the store is excellent and offered many deals, the service is absolutely terrible. It's a shame they make you feel so unwanted. My cashier was racist. I love to buy at this store. However, staff is not very helpful. I went in to return a wall clock I have bought less that the "90 day" return policy but because they don't carry the item anymore, they did not accept it. Don't buy things on sale unless you're planning on keeping for sure. Ridiculous. And both the cashier and whoever Tameika is, were very unfriendly and careless. Not to mention that they saw me waiting with a crying baby behind a customer that had about 5 different large receipt returns and skipped me with two other customers before I said something about being able to go to a different register for returns. This Hobby Lobby hasn't been open very long and since they'd been all over the news a couple months ago ( google it ) I wanted to see this place first hand . There's no way on earth that you shouldn't be able to find something you want in here . This is the worst Hobby Lobby that I have ever been too, I have shopped at HL in Texas for over 12 years - I moved to Savannah Ga in 2018, they don't put out their up to date shipments. The store runs out of things and it takes about 3 to 4 weeks to get it back in. Christmas took the cake- ALL of the ornaments on the floor were gild, silver or red and white. There were a few other colors but not much. NONE of the ornaments I've purchased over the past 1 years were available (I continuously add to my tree every year) Worst selection ever. I feel that I have to shop out of this city in order to what I want- which is unheard of for Hobby Lobby. Very diaappointed. read more

There is no option for the Bluffton location. I went for the first time today and found some pretty neat things on my unexpected trip. Upon checking out with Pamela, the "customer experience manager" I was asked if I had a reusable bag, as I didn't plan on coming I didn't bring one and she continued to slowly check me out. At one point she stopped and played with a tape dispenser that the tape had ripped on while there was a line 3 deep. No too bad but still annoying. I would have given 5 stars but at the end she pushed my pile of fabric and ribbon to me and when I asked about a bag she informed me they charge for them. Which is okay if that's the policy HOWEVER I was never informed or asked if I would like to purchase one and was not aware I had to scoop my stuff up and walk out without a bag. I would have more than likely bought one but was never informed of this policy. She just kind of shrugged me off. Not a great experience as a first time visitor. Oh my lord. This is probably my most favorite place in the world. So much to see. So much to buy. If you are a lover of arts and crafts this place is for you. It is a little expensive however their sale items are really good value. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. They are very helpful and knowledgeable. It's easy to find whatever it is you require. The only draw back is that you have to look at every item. Pick it up hold it. Put it back. You can get some great ideas in here.
