Very rude behavior towards healthcare workers. Apparently you can't wear scrubs in this business or…read morecome during your lunch hour to buy NeeDohs. Please don't give him your business. Go to hobby town where they are much kinder and much better selections. If I could give 0 stars I would.

So I guess yall all know that the "NeeDoh" squishy toys are "all the rage" right now. So much so,…read morethat they are going for $50 or $60 sometimes on Facebook marketplace. Absurd. So anyway, I took Aubs to Building Blocks of Lubbock to get her some new ones. So we get there and get her one of each kind (they had two kinds) and my friend wanted one of each for her boy. So I proceeded to tell the owner we needed another set. He literally said "Yall are done" and I'm like what? Thinking this cats gotta be joking, right? Nope. He wasn't. He would NOT sell me one of each for her child. He said they only sell one of each to every customer. He even went as far as asking Aubrey WHY she wanted them and she shrugged her shoulders and said "I just do" . He blatantly looked at me and said "see??? She can't even tell me WHY she wants them. These kids are possessed because they want these things" But was VERY, VERY rude. I was appalled. I even asked if my friend could call and pay herself over the phone and I could take it to her and he said NO. He was such a JERK. I will not be going over there again for anything anymore. By the way, my friends son DID get his. I sent Dane over there to buy his. Just sayin. Don't do business with that guy. He's rude and he's weird.

I've been to a lot of comic shops, and this one is top of the heap. It's clean and well organized,…read morethe comics are in a logical order and easy to peruse. Prices are very fair for an LCS. But three things made it really stand out: 1) The owner Rob and I traded about a half-dozen messages on Facebook about issues I was looking for, and when I showed up two days later, voila, there they were. This guy had no guarantee that I'd be showing up, but he still held onto my books for me. 2) Rob asked me where my LCS was and I told him Duncanville Bookstore (about a 5 hour drive away), and he told me that he knew the owner Andy and that he'd helped Andy out at a past show out of town. Just says a lot about how devoted he is to the comic shop community. 3. He was tossing out a few damaged and coverless books and I asked if I could have them for my wife who is an elementary librarian. Not only did he give me those, but then he grabbed about 30 age-appropriate books from FCBD for me to give to her to use. I feel bad that I can't remember the name of the fellow who was running the register, but he was just as friendly as Rob. I'll certainly do business here again the next time I'm in town.

Horrible store experience, especially with the worker who thinks she knows the prices of pops…read more Don't bother bringing your pops to sell, they will lowball you and offer $10 for a pop, yet turn around and put it up for 60+. Waste of time coming here to sell anything. Wont be come here again after I buy a certain pop. Trash store, one of the worst in Lubbock.

Pretty cool store! This was my first time in one. I e seen them before but never went in…read more They sell a lot of records, DVD's, books and more. It appears as though you can sell your items or trade them. My daughter bought two comic books. I just looked around although I saw a record I wanted. I have 5 that I've bought since being in TX. That's enough lol!

This review is mostly a copy of another review of a different location for this exact same chain…read morestore. As a bit of a lifelong closeted fantasy and pop culture fan, I love that this store has come along. I just wish it had been around when I was a teen. This store (and any location, really) is fully loaded. I'm going to let this review be taken over by a huge list here that still doesn't capture everything. - tarot and oracle decks and books - spellbooks, metaphysical, witchcraft, runes - goblets, mugs, candles, sage, palo santo, incense, wind chimes, crystals - buttons, pins, keychains, jewelry, stickers - vinyl and CDs, used and new, and players - musical instruments (ukuleles, guitars, and more) - t-shirts, hats, backpacks, and socks - pop toys, squish mallows, stuffed animals - audio books and movie DVDs - majority of the store is books of all kinds - always worth a look at the clearance section - puzzles, board games, tabletop trading card games like MTG and Pokemon - children's toys, Legos, Nerf, action figures - calendars, planners, journals, inspirational wall hangings - manga, anime, comics (DC, Marvel, and more) - video games for all systems current and past - Fred and Kikkerland knickknacks - mystery mini boxes, pouches, gaccha collectibles - antique/linen postcards - fantasy dragon and fairy statues - fandom specific collectibles (Harry Potter, Disney, and more) The store seems in constant disarray simply from the fact that there is so much variety. Literally nothing is fully alphabetized, and asking someone to look up an item you're searching for is mostly pointless beyond them being able to tell you it's most likely "somewhere" in the store. This is my biggest gripe here. However, if you're accustomed to searching through piles of random objects at places like thrift stores and secondhand stores, you may enjoy going on the hunt at this store too. They buy an array of pre-owned items here too. But worth noting that if you sell here in the morning then realize you forgot something and come back, they will not buy from you again in the same day. They lose stars for that inconvenience factor, too. I would imagine that based on need, they will buy anything that they would sell. I've personally sold Magic the Gathering cards here before. Value given in store credit is higher than cash, but be prepared to feel ripped off either way. Prices on used items are decent, but on new it can often be huge compared to buying online ($60 vs $35 in one instance). This is otherwise a great store to burn time in reading and browsing.
