I have an overwhelming urge to use profanity. That's how poor the service and lack of respect to a customer was. (Backstory: Drove an hour to get there after work. So I didn't look all that presentable when I showed up. In fact, I probably didn't even smell presentable.) Our initial interaction was greeted with a nice "how may I help you". My first item request was shown to me promptly. Unsatisfied since it wasn't exactly what I was looking for, I implored for further more items and met with a never more In stock . This cycle of asking, receiving, not quite what needing, and further pleading repeated twice however fleeting. By now it's clear to me the The clerk isn't going to help me so I begin to browse the store for what I need. I finalize my purchases without succeeding during which I realize the parts I meeting or on the shelves behind the front counter. By now the store manager is helping me check out the parts that I actually need which was to say slightly more helpful. After checking out a second time I can hear in the background the employee making passive aggressive insults about me. After spending nearly $100 on parts for a hobby I'm likely going to return them all. This is a horrible establishment that insults customers that aren't on the "A List". I give this establishment ONE for discrimination and disrespectful actions. Proof in pictures for credibility.

It was my first time here, and I wasn't sure what to expect. My boyfriend wanted to look around and see what new hobby he could get into. The staff was really pleasant and asked if we needed any assistance. We just said we were browsing at the moment. The store was clean and packed full of boxes. Boxes full of model airplanes, games, toy cars, and even bottles of paint. I personally don't know much about model planned, droids, or toy cars, so I cannot tell how reasonable how the prices were, but the board games I felt were a bit pricier than other stores such as Target or Wal-Mart. Overall, it's alright. It just depends what you are looking to get into.

Guys here are great, very personable with good feedback and knowledge of the hobby. (I also come here way too much)

David is the guy who seems to know about RC cars down there. He gets involved and does his best to help with your projects needs and wants. I recommend dealing with him at this location. I wish this location had a RC club but maybe at a later time.

Absolutely horrible customer service! I purchased a lexan body for an R/C vehicle and tried to return it after Christmas because it was defective and the "employee" behind the counter gave me all kinds of excuses as to why they wouldn't return it. If you buy anything here (which I would not recommend) Do not plan on returning it if it is defective.

They need to update receipt to show only at location of purchase.

Gal in front of me had a price check which Jill acted like was a huge inconvenience to come over and do. The other register was dealing with a return with no receipt which the cashier couldn't handle and Jill was too annoyed to stick around and resolve. She was too stressed by the patient gal waiting for someone to help her find a product. By the time I got to check out, Miranda, the cashier, looked about ready to cry from secondhand stress. One of my items didn't have a price tag so... price check. And guess who looked thrilled about it. And gave the COMPLETE wrong price. I had grabbed one of their 99¢ bandanas and she said $6.99. I just chose not to buy that rather than argue because it wasn't worth talking to Jill. Miranda was great and very apologetic but I honestly felt bad leaving her with that kind of individual manning that area. Took about ten minutes to get through checkout and Jill was still ignoring the return issue but thankfully that poor cashier was able to get another manager over who looked pretty annoyed with Jill's inaction so I feel like this is a known issue. I hate to imagine what Jill would act like with an actually angry customer if this is how she behaved with patient folks experiencing minor issues.

There was only one cashier but there were self-checkout machines so I was able to check out pretty quickly. I did come back to pick up an online order since I got a discount from ordering online. One of the employees asked me for my last name then told me to look at the pickup section to find my order. I did find that odd and a little less secure than I would like. That means anyone could have come in the store and looked at the last names on the pickup bags and told the employees that it's their order. Nonetheless, it has been a pretty seamless experience going to this store. I would def order from them again since the prices and options are reasonable.

Before I send my husband back I call to ask someone to check and the person I spoke to said online is never accurate, I said that's ok but please just check shelf before I send my husband. Whether you're a rockhound or a jewelry lover, or you just need a souvenir, there are lots of options here at all price points. For gem and mineral lovers, they have some pretty nice color-coordinated displays of specimens and jewelry. From amethyst to larimar, malachite to labradorite, and even diamond slices, there are some nice crystals, cabochons, and spheres to drool over. Many of the bigger pieces seem too expensive and/or fragile for travelers, but I suppose if you've got $1,300 to drop on a fluorite sphere, you can afford to have it shipped. Other inexpensive jewelry options include the gemstone stacking rings in a display case by the door ($35), semiprecious stone post earrings by the register ($10-15), and locally made wood slice earrings by an artist in Edmonds. For kids, there are some fun items like small soapstone animal carvings (under $5), books, inexpensive mineral specimens, and fossil kits. I wasn't too impressed by the service here -- it was pretty early in the morning during my visit, and I was the only customer for most of that time, but the two employees stayed at the counter talking to each other about personal stuff and ignored me. Since I was mostly just browsing, it wasn't that big of a deal, but it seems like they should at least make the effort to greet customers when they walk in. Overall, a nicely organized and displayed gift shop with lots of sparkly gems to ooh and ahh over while you're waiting in the airport. A good place to pick up a last-minute gift that doesn't feel like one!

There's a lot of empty floor space they could do something with, like add popular games. I wandered around the store for about fifteen minutes and didn't encounter or even see a sales person, and I was the only customer there until I passed people as I was leaving.
