Entrance parking underneath the store in parking garage

Finally went to Lakeshore for the first time! They have so much and really great deals right now. It's definitely worth the drive because they have things that no one else has and most school related items are sold out online right now. It's not that big but they have a lot to look at. The customer was great! All the employees where helpful and friendly. I love great customer service. I drove an hour to come here and I definitely plan to come back soon to stock up on more supplies since I homeschool my 4 kids plus I am a teacher as well. You can park near the entrance or underneath in the parking garage. Great deals right now

Nice place, any where that I can get a Moving Plant (TM) and patented magnetic darts, is 5 stars to me! Impresive phd made Learning kits also!

I always seem to end up at Lakeshore sometime during Labor Day weekend - and usually with Lissa M. I usually volunteer to help her decorate her classroom and we always need cool supplies. During Labor Day weekend various teacher types fill the store making the parking lot impossible and the small isles impassible. There are kazillions of teachers (most of them with doting husbands holding their choices following behind). You have to get here a bit early because they do tend to sell out of staples pretty early (sentence strips, cursive boarders, etc...) but they always have the highest quality of construction paper, fadeless paper, scissors, blocks - I could go on. Lakeshore tends to focus more towards early childhood and primary grades but has materials, ideas, and crafty stuff for pretty much any kid. I particularly love the "people colors" crayons and markers. They also have zillions of different boarders for bulletin boards and stuff for basic classroom decor. The project kits are legendary - everything you need for an entire lesson (sometimes month-long lessons). There are so many zillions of ideas that the store can be overwhelming! The online and catalog offers teachers and early learning professionals the opportunity to purchase furniture and rugs - but these aren't sold in the Bellevue store. Many think that the Lakeshore line is the finest around.

Terrific! Terry was super helpful helping us use the laminating machine. All my kids love the toys. Lakeshore learning is a special place.

What a great place to buy *intelligent* rather than dumb-entertaining (Toys R Us) toys. Immediately became our favorite place.

They have a book club like Barnes & Noble that you have to pay $25 to join with a yearly renewal. It's worth the cost if you are a frequent buyer but not if you rarely come in. You get 6 free digital downloads and some free items with membership, among discounts and other things they toss in. The temple clothing store is now part of Deseret Book. It's located in the back of the store. All of the clothes for the temple along with kids clothes for baptisms and blessings are sold here. They now let you try things on before you buy. This chain sells a lot of things besides books. They also sell the following as long as it's Christian or spiritually based: office supplies, art (prints, framed oils, sculptures), home decor, crafts, board games, DVDs, CDs, jewelry, sheet music, church classroom materials, scrapbooking supplies, and more. They sell some candies, snacks and beverages. They sell fry sauce for those from Utah who like it and can't figure out how to squeeze mayo and ketchup into a bowl and mix it together. ;) If you come in on a weekday, the staff is few so expect to wait for a bit for service.

Bookstores are challenging to find and independent bookstores with new content even more. My friend and I stopped here on a whim and from a glance I thought it would be smaller than I had expected but it ended up being much longer than wide offering a ton of content with an easy flow. We were far from alone as there were many other customers milling about, and that is where I saw this little store shine as it was fairly easy to navigate without feeling trapped on enclosed. There were areas to step off into and let people pass, the check-out counter moved quickly, and everyone was super polite. I was very impressed with all the content. There were many different book sections as well as fun gift ideas and funny stickers. Both my friend I enjoyed walking through the aisles taking everything in. I certainly will be back and hope that my bibliophile friends come by to check this store out!

With this came the risk of pieces breaking off and pieces being misplaced. Bricks and wheels staff was knowledgeable and I could find some hard to find pieces to complete existing builds. There's something satisfying when I can find a specific piece that is discontinued. Whoever came up with this concept of a store 5 stars
