Taste, service, value. That's what I look for and that's what they have at Hobert's. First, the food is fantastic. If you like a thin crust New York style pizza, this one will hit the spot. We ordered the large cheese bread as well. We had no idea it would be as big as the pizza! And just as awesome. It comes with cups of a very tasty marinara. A lot of pizza places have salads that they make ahead of time, and they taste like it. Hobert's chef salad was made fresh, and loaded with a good variety of veggies and deli meat. As much as all four of us enjoyed the pizza and bread, it's possible that my son's Philly cheesesteak was even tastier... just perfection on a bun. All the employees are helpful and friendly, and we've been here several times over the last few years. It's not like we got lucky and got good service one time. It's consistent. Sometimes, even with a great meal, I feel buyer's remorse when I get the bill. No such feelings leaving Hobert's. All the food I mentioned fed our family of four, and we packed about a quarter of it home for leftovers. Hobert's is our go-to when we come to Prestonsburg. I can't recommend them enough. read more

Ordered a pizza, asked standard cheese and they gave extra. I had gastric bypass surgery and can't have extra cheese. I called next day to speak with a manager, and was berated and told no refund over the phone and I should've brought it back. Gas is sky high and I live too far away having picked it up on my way home. Service is terrible. Staff is rude. No gloves. No aprons. Not going back. If you're going to charge me for what I didn't buy? That's a problem in customer service. They also refused a remake because of cost of ingredients on *their end*, didn't have time to argue with me because they were busy and then told me if I wanted to order, he'd take it, if not? I have no idea what's going on with the food there but it just keeps getting worse. 5/10 delivery of our orders are wrong. They don't write down special requests so when you get the wrong thing, if it's delivery, too bad. Pick up takes forever even when they have nothing going on. Thank goodness there are other options now that the area has DoorDash. read more

Good little pizza place in a very off the beaten path little town. We got a pepperoni and banana pepper pizza. Crust was good, cheese and toppings were great, very light on the sauce though. I would recommend the pizza but perhaps ask for extra sauce. read more

I ordered a very simple order of a hot dog and fried mushrooms. I placed the order for delivery. I asked the girl on the phone, do you know how long it will take to deliver ? She responded "I don't know that." ( that should have been my first clue) I asked her to give me a estimate and her response was probably no longer than 45 minutes. I was ok with that and she was up front that they had a new delivery driver and agian I was ok with that. after a little over an hour I called them back and asked were my food was, an older lady responded saying " its Out for deliver." I accepted that answer and waited another 20 minutes before calling back and asking again, where's my food. this time another employee told me that they hadn't left with my order yet and it was still setting there ! It's now been over an hour and a half and I haven't received anything. I might eat tonight I might not ... we will see read more

this is the worse pizza place i have ever done business with in my life...i ordered and paid with my credit card a large pizza total of around 20.00. the place is only 6 miles from my house. they didn't get my order to me for a hour and a half. only when i called the first time did the driver who was a young guy say i he was just leaving with it....when i got it the pizza was hard as a rock where it sat waiting on top of a oven for so long!!!!! i called back at 9:45 talked to a old lady with a deep voice. she said she would replace it....when i called back the following day to get my order made right the old lady was talking through these young girls that hung up on me and everything!!!!!!the old lady lied!!! that is my money lost and bad business!!! i would never order from this place as long as the old lady is calling the shots or lies!!!!!!!!!! i am very unsatisfied!!!!!! read more

The food is great as long as you're eating it in. The deleivery almost always takes over an hour and sometimes two. You pay a high price for the pizza, usually 30 dollars and the delivery cost and you get a cold hard brick. They always forget stuff too. The sandwiches are great though. Spaghetti could use more sauce but they charge 3 DOLLARS FOR A CUP OF SAUCE (and then usually forget to bring it to you) read more
