The staff was great from the sous chef I flagged down to the gal serving up samples in the bottle shop and tasting room. After trying a few things I decided on bottle of maple finish and one of the uncut unfiltered. Pretty good stuff! Along witht the bottles I had to pick up a Watershed glencairn for $12 too... I wish I'd had more time to spend and could look around the facility a little more there at the distillery! Watershed was a lot better ambiance and company than Giant Eagle and Kroger where I was limited to in the rest of my OH bourbon hunting... Lol

If I had to guess based on the spirits I tasted I would have to say that they are a relatively new distillery with nothing aged 10 years yet. The younger spirits did taste hopeful. They had a lot of flavored moonshines which is all the rage at the moment. The blackberry was quite good. Service was really good. We were greeted promptly and had all of our questions answered. We arrived and the woman asked if we were part of the tour. She said there is room. But then said it's with an existing group of 12 people. I said oh nah we aren't interested. Thought it was randoms etc; We sampled 6 different whiskeys. Up to 6 if you can't obtain all. I had all that was almost available. The bourbon, Rye and Lime cello was my favorites. The owner does a good job and explained how they started and what they were using and were going to use. Asked if he sold his barrels after use. He said no because he will use at the cidery and vice versa. He was very nice and looked a lot like Kurt Surter, the creator of Sons of Anarchy. The bourbon is $75 a bottle. Think it's because it's 6 years old. I was in hope they had the 6 year old apple brandy but they didn't. Wanted to try it out. This place is very eas to miss. Not realizing that outside was covered patio we first opted to sit inside but then we noticed the covered patio and requested to be seated outside and thanks to our lucky stars, the hostess obliged and we got seated outside in the covered patio to enjoy the perfect Memorial weekend weather. We ordered some drinks (not pictured) - I ordered an Espresso Martini while husband ordered a beer, friends ordered a couple of other drinks - a berry smash, a Sauvignon and more beer for the guys. The cocktails were amazing and delicious. We ordered a couple of shareables (Tirokafteri and Colcannon Cakes) as well which were both of course were so scrumptious that we forgot to click pics! So I made sure I clicked pics of as many mains/ entrees I could. A friend and I, ordered fried chicken sandwiches (his with fries, mine with chips, I also asked my brioche be subbed with Sourdough which both our waitress and chef were kind enough to comply), husband ordered a 58 burger, another friend ordered the Italian Chicken flatbread and another ordered a Portobello entree with a side of Caprese salad (added grilled Chicken). The fried chicken was ok, I've had better ones and unfortunately for me it gave me a bad tum as I spent the rest of the day feeling queasy. The husband said his burger was amazing, the flatbread, portobello and caprese were all absolutely delectable. Thankfully everyone enjoyed their lunch including kiddos who had Mac and cheese and a cheese pizza.
