Italian on Wheat Side Salad Frannie's Soda
    Libby P.

What a great little place with excellent food, amazing prices & incredible service! My only disappointments, after stopping at Weaver's, are that I didn't find it earlier in my trip and that we don't have a spot like this back home! I was looking for a "healthier than fast food" option as I was heading out of town, after spending the week hiking this beautiful part of the country. I read some great reviews about Weaver's earlier in the week but since I was camping, I didn't need to buy lunch anywhere. That was a mistake because their prices cannot be beat and the food is delicious! I had the Italian on Wheat with a side salad. That was honestly one of the best sandwiches I have ever had! It was made to order and it was loaded with meats, cheese & veggies! No skimping on topping here. I was happy to see they had a healthier alternatives than the Top Voted - sandwich, chips, candy bar and drink - but either way, I would have gave a 5 Star Review, The service truly was excellent, the staff were very friendly and the establishment appeared quite clean. Next time I'm visiting Hocking Hills, I will definitely be stopping by Weaver's... more than once!!

We got the family special and it was awesome. Everyone was very friendly and attentive. Definitely the best deal in town. It came with 4 subs, 4 chips, 4 pops, and 4 candy bars for $25.00. I had more meat on my sub then a footlong at a well known sub franchise. Highly recommend it, great for pick nick's, beach or on your hocking trip at Hocking hills.

All this for $6.50, such a deal!

Wow, this place is the best deal around! Seriously $6.50 for a sandwich, bag of chips, drink, and a king sized candy bar! You can't beat it! So Weaver's is a cute little store that has a bunch of local food products and old fashioned candies and snacks. They had a bunch of samples when we walked in, and everything was delicious! Just like the name says, there's a deli inside so all the meat and cheese for the sandwiches is sliced fresh. There are only 2 picnic tables outside, but this meal would be a perfect thing to bring for a picnic in the park. Weaver's is also located near an antique and craft mall, which was fun to explore after we ate. Overall, a great lunch stop in Hocking Hills!

Sandwiches are huge and cheap! Their sandwich meal deal will cost you less than $7 and will get you a sandwich, drink, chips, and a candy bar. You really can't beat the prices. While they are making your sandwich you can shop around the market. They have a variety of goodies and snacks you can purchase. Really great spot to grab an affordable meal!

Best bang for your buck!! We stopped here while on a road trip instead of fast food and were blown away! So many options available, quick snacks, soda, mixes, bakes, etc. Sandwiches are made fresh, you can order meat and cheese to be sliced - pure heaven and AMAZING prices! Best tip about this place: $6.50 you get a sandwich, a can of soda, chips and a candy bar! Plus they have a picnic table and rocking chairs out front.

One single set of shelving down the middle of the store with foods on one side and wine on the other. The perimeter is a deli type counter on one side with the food counter and checkout area in the back. Please believe me when I say be prepared to just look past all that chaos to see the beauty in it. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Yes they do offer suggestions, answer your questions and carry your purchases to your car for you. Who does that nowadays?!? I read a review saying not to skip out on the rosemary sea salt bread so I didn't. I mean the smells and it looked like perfection on the tray so how could I resist!? So glad I didn't. It was warm, soft, flavorful and ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!! I would return for the fresh baked bread alone. We were given samples and we made our selections, paid and had our goodies carried out to the car for us. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. We ended up with a couple varieties of olives, a couple of meatballs and the bread. All fabulous. If you're anywhere near this area and you need some mouthwateringly good food do stop in.

This Pasta Ditoni's is located inside the North Market Bridge Park, so it's more like a stand within the food hall. There's another location, the flagship, in Columbus. So the cheesecake is fire, and it's about the size of the palm of your hand. But like a good and rich cheesecake, that's about all you need. They also have things like creme brulee, apple tarts, napoleons, chocolate mousse, bomboloni, and tiramisu. All of the desserts are individually packaged, so you can order one and eat it somewhere in the food hall or elsewhere. Also, gelato in little flutes, and gelato in cones. Plus coffee drinks. Oh, and of course they sell pasta here. It looked like the pasta that they sell was fresh and needed to be cooked first, so this is something that you'd need to buy and take home.

I ate the entire thing and it fulfilled my chocolate dessert craving. Their front case also has cheesecake and cakes you can get by the slice.

This little gem in Victorian Village is a must visit for anyone who loves authentic Italian food and stellar service. I came here with my roommates family for a celebratory dinner and had an amazing four course dining experience. I was intimidated at first by the number of courses, but each dish is in a small tasting format. Not only was the food delish but our water was incredible. He took time to go through each dish and explain the ingredients and origin. You could tell he was super passionate about his job and the food there. I also noticed unfortunately there was no sitting or lounge area for customers to sit if they are Waiting for a table or waiting for a ride share. If you have to wait you are literally in the way of servers or the opening of the front door. I opted for the "Lighter Fare" menu at $55.00, your only two other choices were a Tasting menu at $110.00 or a Pelino's Dinner at four courses for $69.00. The menu is very limited, there is no A la carte available. Our server was professional & polite & the entire staff was lovely. I ordered : First course :Tornare alle Origini Eggplant, Pachino tomatoes, Castelvetrano olives, Pantelleria capers Main Course: L'Oro Verde della Sicilia Rigatoni, Lemon, Butter with Pistacchio di Bronte Crema Dessert : Semifreddo agli Amaretti Amaretti crumble, Semifreddo with Chocolate Sauce This breakdown comes to $18.00 per course. Looking back even the Lighter fare menu is too expensive especially for only one main course on the nights menu that offers Shrimp on your pasta, not even a protein like Chicken or Beef. The most disappointing part of the meal was the temperature of the food, not even remotely warm for this small restaurant. I had a guest dining with me and their first course of Toasted focaccia, Salt-cured Italian anchovies, Bagnet Verd which was comically 2 tiny pieces of bread smaller than a quarter & rock hard for $17.95. Sadly, I would not recommend Pelino's Pasta its too expensive & your clothes smell of seafood after dining there.

The food itself is very classic home-style comfort food with lots of options. Nothing super fancy or out of the ordinary, but everything tasted fresh and the buffet was constantly being refilled every few minutes. We also got the iced sweet teas, which seemed to be really popular since almost every table had one. One unique thing -- the entrance and exit are through the gift shop, and you also pay there at the end of your meal, which definitely adds to the old-school country restaurant experience.
