I have found here that the quality and freshness of ingredients far surpasses what we get in the US. Tomatoes smell like tomatoes should, bread tastes very fresh. Nothing is overengineered or processend processed. Finished the meal with a dessert, the Dame Blanche, vanilla ice cream with the most incredibly rich warmed chocolate you pour over the top.
