I have never been more disappointed with a chiropractic office than I was with this one. I was hoping to get some relief on my first visit, only to be told that they would not do anything until they had the x-rays developed and we had a chance to go over a treatment plan. After I paid the copay for the visit, I scheduled an appointment for the next day. On the second day, I was put into an office where I got to watch a movie about their care plan. When the doctor came in, he looked at the x-rays, told me I had scoliosis (which has nothing to do with the pain) and went over a normal treatment plan. He told me that a person would come in and tell me about my treatment plan and left. About 10 minutes later, I was told that the person was having problems with her leg and that I should go to the front desk. When I got there, she showed me my "treatment plan," and asked me to sign it. I signed it and handed it back to her. At this point, she started to go over a payment plan with me and told me that I needed to make a choice about how I wanted to pay for several months of treatment. Then I really looked at "the plan." When I told her that the doctor did not go over it with me, she got rude and pretty much called me a liar. Finally she asked if I wanted to talk to the doctor again. Yes, I did. He walked into the room and I told that he did not go over the paper that she showed me, he got defensive and assured me that he did. Then I brought up specifics that we did not discuss. At this point he started to defend himself saying that he just missed "that line" and the other part was optional. He went on to say that he usually writes the treatment plans but the other doctor did this one. Apparently, this makes a difference, although I do not understand why unless he has poor eyesight. When I asked about paying by the visit, he pretty much showed me the door and told me that I would probably be happier at another office. I am usually pretty easy going, but this whole experience left me feeling like I was almost the victim of a scam artist. They did not give me a copy of the potential bill, but it was well over $700 with the optional items included. As I am writing this, I realize that I am writing it for both of us. I am writing for my closure and for you, so you can go to this office with open eyes. Good luck with your decision.

She had her massage with Linda and told me when I picked her up that Linda was on her phone during the massage . He and his staff found a time on their schedule and for my great relief, he was able to narrow down right away what was the issue. He used a new device that delievers the right pressure on the right spot during the right time (he explains everything as he does the threatment). I am so greatful for a person like Dr. Hendricks, he is professional and compassionate at the same time. His staff is great as well. Whatever your insurance will pay for is what will be done to you. They run people through their system like a conveyor belt. Does your insurance cover massage therapy? How long is the minimum amount of minutes 15, 30? That's what they'll do. Does it cover physical therapy? Ok they'll have a minimally trained person (not a PT) stretch you. I have been to almost a dozen chiropractors and NEVER has one of them refused to adjust another area of my spine in the same visit! Their chiropractor adjusted my lumbar area and when I said my thoracic and cervical areas also needed attention, he refused and said "that's all we're doing today" so when I asked about how to have them addressed he said "make an appointment for later this week". That is a way for them to use up as many 'adjustments' as possible from your insurance as quickly as possible. Three 'adjustments' in one week, lower, middle and upper means three insurance payments! I only was covered for 12 per year from my insurance! Every other chiropractor I've been to in my 50 years has adjusted my entire spine and called it one 'adjustment' for insurance or self pay. WHAT A RACKET!
