Instead of offering helpful or constructive advice, the attorney was dismissive, condescending, and outright insulting. He not only questioned but directly insulted my intelligence, stating I shouldn't have trusted what my insurance company told me--that they would handle everything. After going through a traumatic event, the last thing I needed was to be criticized and talked down to for not already knowing complex legal and insurance matters. That's exactly why I sought legal help in the first place. He also went out of his way to insult the attorney I've been working with at Dan Newlin's office, calling them incompetent and a "bad lawyer," even though the issue I brought up was completely outside that attorney's scope. I barely had the chance to explain my situation before being interrupted and dismissed. Since then, I've spoken with other attorneys who were far more respectful, informative, and professional. They answered my questions without making me feel belittled or ashamed for asking. Based on this experience, I would absolutely not recommend this attorney.
