Dina who took over to assist me was very helpful in selecting all the purple flowers that would bloom all year round. Their selection is huge and so much better than Lowe's in every way. Supporting businesses in my neighborhood is so important to me. They also sell fresh free range eggs as well. Cheryl the owner and I had a nice chat as well. They do not sell soil so make sure you have some. All in all they have a new customer. I can't say enough good things about this place. Prices are good, and plenty of parking as well. We had them design the landscape in front of our house, and we hired them to maintain our yard…read more(mowing, pulling weeds, pruning, fertilizing and applying weed killer, sprinkler maintenance, etc.) The landscape design was pretty but poorly installed. One tall plant was left leaning over. They came back eventually and tried to tie it up, but it ended up having to be replaced. The replacement also died. They eventually got it right the 3rd time. A flowering ground-cover plant died, and they replaced it with a plant that bloomed a different color in the middle of the others! The lawn maintenance cost was huge, but they had promised so much we thought it was fair. Unfortunately, they ended up only doing maybe a third of what they promised to do. And, like EVERYONE says that has tried to call them, they NEVER answer and rarely return a call. If you do manage to catch them, you can't count on them to do what they say they will do. They already had their money and didn't care.

Today I decided to stop in after my silver sneaker's class and found it almost right across the street from Coastal Fitness where the class is held, so it's very convenient. Bought 2 containers of strawberries and each container weighed just a little over a pound and was priced at $3. When I got home, we decided to have some for lunch. Some of the strawberries were huge and there is no need to use sugar, they were so sweet, delicious. I definitely recommend Carol Sue Farms to as a place to get your strawberries, I know for sure that I'll be stopping by after classes to get more.
