After a horrible experience with a prior home management company I came acroos Hoffman Realty. After speaking with MaryAnn Hoffman on the phone I immediately felt like she listened to my concerns and expectations. We left the other company and signed with her. Keep in mind we are a military family living in Japan so all correspondence was phone calls and emails which also made the situation a little more stressful than most. Immediately she took control of the home and went above and beyond my expectations. Her staff was in constant communication letting us know of anything and everything going on with the home. When preparing the home they were thorough as well as when choosing the best tenant. My husband and I worried for nothing during the 3 years our home was under this companies care. So much so that when we decided to sell our home they were no doubt our first call. After preparing the home for the sale and after 9 days on the market we received an offer and closed recently. Picking a company to care for your home is always a tough decision because you realize you ultimately are the only one who will do it best because you care the most, however this company met my expectations even higher and proved to me that they cared just as much and took pride in their reputation as far as handling everything in a timely professional matter. I can't say enough about my experience with MaryAnn Hoffman and Hoffman Realty. If you are looking for an experienced company to manage your property or sell/buy a home thru you have really found something special here. Two years ago we moved from Tampa to Saint Petersburg and needed a property management company to help us rent out and manage our Tampa home. Our experience with Hoffmann Realty while listing our rental in Bayshore was disappointing. Initially optimistic after a promising phone interview, we soon found ourselves questioning their professionalism and transparency. Despite being assured that our unit would be staged to enhance its appeal, we were surprised to find out that this service came at an additional cost of $360 for accessorising, resulting in a feeling of wasted resources. Our hopes for Hoffmann Realty to secure a tenant quickly were dashed when, within just one week and minimal communication, we were prompted to consider changing agents. Subsequent interactions left us frustrated and unheard as our legitimate inquiries about the rental status were met with what we perceived as unprofessionalism. Our decision to discontinue our association with Hoffmann Realty after six weeks was solidified when, upon requesting a status update on our rental property, we were once again confronted with the suggestion of changing agents, for the third time. This echoed sentiments expressed in other one-star reviews, indicating a pattern of rudeness towards customers. In summary, while we entered into our partnership with high hopes, our experience with Hoffmann Realty fell short of our expectations, ultimately leading us to seek other avenues for renting out our property. read more

For the past 13 months I rented a single family home through Hoffman Realty. That might sound so commercial, however, the experience was anything but commercial. I had no major issues, but the minor issues were handled immediately and efficiently. At the expiration of my lease, I was invited to not only go over my move in video, but view my move out video. And my appropriate deposit was refunded. Hoffman Realty is a second to NONE, management company. I was a renter, but would not hesitate for a moment to list my own property with them, based on my experience. I have to tell you this is by far the best experience I have ever had with a realty company and I would highly suggest them! We move every two years because of my job, so we have dealt with a lot of different places. Our realtor Jeanette Hardy was amazing from day one. Any issues we had with the house we quickly resolved without any complaints or push back. For example, the stove handle came off and the very next day there was a brand new one delivered and installed. That is just one of many little things that they did to go above and beyond and ensure the house was properly maintained at all times. We have only been out of the house for a week and they have already mailed out a full refund for our deposit. They could have taken up to 30 days, but they were prompt as usual and it's truly appreciated. Amazing customer service and quality of work! Well done! read more

Disgusted by these people! Stay clear away from these uptight lazy group of so called realtors. This is what their site says: "We serve Buyers, Sellers and Landlords throughout Tampa, Florida, urban Hillsborough County and parts of Pinellas County. We offer real estate sales, Property Management services and Rental Homes in Tampa, Florida and the surrounding communities." I reached out to Maria Hoffman and she said my house that was only 9 miles from their office was "TOO FAR" for them to property manage. Why do realtors have such a bad rap, because of people like this. The funniest part is that we have 9 properties around Tampa area including their preferred South Tampa area, well Maria this was a very bad move on your part for judging a book by it's Zipcode. Just recently moved into a property managed by Hoffman and was really impressed with all the staff there. Nina the realtor did an amazing job helping us get set up. She answered all the questions we had to make sure the move was a swift process. Once we got settled we were assisted with Amanda and Stacy to make sure everything was in place for a warm welcome. All things related to maintenance were quickly addressed and taken cared of with ease. My favorite of them all was angel the maintenance technician since he would double check everything to make sure the house was taken cared of for max comfort.
