I called Hoffman's to get rid of a yellow jacket nest. They did a great job at a reasonable price. Would definitely use them again.

I hired this company but i had more bugs after they sprayed. I called them after a week and notified the company that I still had beetles in the house. The sent their employee out and he sprayed the outside of the house twice and never came inside. My son was home and waiting for them but they never knocked and only left a paper on the door that they sprayed the exterior 3 times . This most likely drive the bugs inside since the problem got worse after spending 199.00. read more

Awful customer service. They tell you they are cheaper monthly than other companies, but fail to tell you they will bill your credit card the ENTIRE year! This is a summer service, that I paid about the same price with another company... the months they came! Not all winter long. Why would anyone sign up for that! Such a shame. I was really hoping to use a local company for a year round plan. The problems began at the first visit by the technician. Total lack of social/communication skills, and did not respect the security of our home. Provided feedback and the branch manager admits they are working to develop the tech. Manager assured us he will shadow the tech at next service. Tech shows for next service and can't remember where he placed bait stations. No manager. Recently used Hoffman's for wasp removal. The gentleman came out the next day and removed 4 nests. He educated us on best practices and provided us advice for future issues. Even safely showed us the inside of the hive once it was down. Very educational and polite. Will use again. Did not try to up sell anything. read more

The way they bill you is ridiculous. They told my husband it was $35 a month DURING service months. Then they billed us every month, which is outrageous! I tried to cancel since our year was up and here we are 6 months later and they are still charging me yet they aren't even coming here anymore. Avoid this company. I should have known not to pick this company when they couldn't determine what the bugs were. I had to call them and tell them to constantly get back to me. He day they were coming for the appointment they showed up over 4 hours late with no call. They treated for termites and a few weeks later yup termites were back. They come out for another treatment and are again hours late. They don't even have the stuff on the truck to plug the new holes that they did so they had to come back again. I had to call because they didn't show back up. Then they were suppose to finish the job and came back out. The customer service in this company is terrible. The operators don't know what they are doing refuse to return phone calls and refuse to help out. I was suppose to be bill over 6 months interest free and then they send the bill all at once. Signed up with this company last year, and chose Auto renew for spring. 6 months later at 730 am on a saturday, I'm sleeping upstairs and hear a loud bang at door. The bang keeps getting louder and harder like it's the friggin police. Finally I get it and it's a kid from hoffman. He said the appt was at 830 but decided to show up early. These people are wonderful, they made this awful flea experience easy to deal with, we somehow got fleas in our house which really was awful. When i called they came out the next day for a consultation and then came out within a few days. since i have bulldogs i needed the temperature outside to be comfortable so we could sit outside with our dogs they came at 6am so it was fairly cool Brandon was so professional and answered all my many many questions. The first experience with Hoffmann was excellent.. they exceeded my expectations. I didn't see any bugs all season, just an occasional spider.. with the cold winter months coming ahead, I decided to use them again.. within a month I had a lot of bugs entering my home and outside.. I called today and talked to a receptionist named Sylvia and explained to her that the first time was great and that the second time around there are too many bugs in my home. She told me it was the weather, which is understandable but the bug problem is out of control..I asked her if someone would come and spray my home again.. she told me sure but I would have to pay again because it's a one time deal.. very rude and unprofessional. She was blaming the weather but I just think the job wasn't done to it's full potential.. instead of offering solutions she just blamed the weather and said I would have to pay the $120 again. Don't use this company, obviously they do not complete the job and they don't try to explore options to help, if your not satisfied . Excellent company! My condo (a rental property) had a few camel crickets. I called Hoffman's at the referral of my normal exterminator, an old neighbor of mine who had recently retired (Got-cha Pest Control). Come to find out the Hoffman's had also lived in the same neighborhood as us. I haven't lived there in over 15 years so was unaware they had this business. Upon calling they were polite and understanding of my hope to get the unit treated sooner rather than later, to avoid a major infestation. They scheduled a tech to come out within 2 days to assess the situation and based on my description of the situation and having known the type of bug, they felt certain they'd also be able to treat it at the same time. The technician was on time and even called as he was leaving his work site and in route to mine. He was quick and thorough with his inspection and treatment of both the interior and exterior. The price charged was comparable to other exterminators and they accepted the credit card payment by phone. I highly recommend Hoffman's Exterminating for your home or business!
