Hog City Customs has been around for over a decade and although I have seen negative reviews on this page I think that over time of these customers went back they would de much improvement! Robert does a great job with his work, specializing in custom upholstery and window tinting among other automobile add ins like wheels and tires, radio accessories, and other accessories for your car. I have had lots of work done here and am always pleased with the outcome and I know that a lot of other people that I have talked to love the work they receive and keep coming back to Hog City. I think this place wouldn't be around for as long as it has if it wasn't for good work and good service. The schedule usually fills up pretty fast so it's best to call to schedule for a quote. Hog city has some of the cheapest prices on window tint that I have seen in the area. Not to mention the fact that there are not really any places around here where you can find someone who does custom upholstery... it is a lost art in my opinion! read more

Go somewhere else you guy on the phone was rude and they wonder why the parking lot is always empty

This is the ONLY place in town that was confident in repairing a ripped leather seat in our Mercedes. Everywhere else wanted charge for an entire new seat and wasn't confident in repairing it due to the heating element. Not only was Robert able to repair it, he did in so fast! He got the car back to us earlier than promised. I'd recommend this place for any luxury vehicles. read more

I went in to order a subwoofer box for my vehicle. The owner stated that he is able to get one ordered that will fit my truck. I called The following week and the owner stated my item was available to pick up. When I went to the store to retrieve my purchase. In doing so I asked that we check that it was the correct item and that he show me it would fit the vehicle correctly. When the owner tried to place the subwoofer box in the truck, the box was too large to fit underneath the seat. He tried a few different locations but nowhere did it fit. He then proceeded to force the seat down on the box and damaged the box along with the carpet in the vehicle. When it clearly didn't fit he said said that I would have to pay him to install it correctly and that he would need to cut out a piece of my vehicle floorboard in order for this item to fit. I informed him that we shouldn't have to destroy or alter my truck because that is not what was described to my at time of purchase and this is not included in the installation instructions. I told him we have a problem because the item he presented me was clearly not the correct part and would not fit properly underneath the seat. The owner again attempted to set it under the seat and force my seat down. As you can clearly see in the pictures with the item placed in my car the seat will not lower to the proper and safe position to allow passengers to safely sit in the rear seats. You can also see from the pictures the damage he caused to my carpet and the damage he caused to the speaker box by forcing the seat down on the speaker. I asked him to take the incorrect part and order the correct part or provide a refund and he refused both options. He then referred to a store policy that was not presented nor agreed to. I did not sign any agreement that stated any of these undisclosed terms. I stated that I didn't agree to purchase something that doesn't fit my vehicle. He said it's not his problem and stated that he was "done with me" and that I was required to leave the store. I had leather seat covers put in my new vehicle. This is the third truck I've had Robert install. This was the best yet. All others have been good, but this seems to be exceptional. He has also done other small customizing jobs for me in the past and always delivers what he says. I'm sorry to read old reviews like the others, but perhaps things have gotten much better over the years. read more

If I could give zero stars I would Robert quoted us for leather strap on the car he said we could wait an hour or come back to pick it up. We told him we would be back at 3pm and it was 12 when we arrived. We came back at 5 and the strap was still not done. He said we should have called and it was our fault it was not done and that he would try and have it done the next day. Since tomorrow is the 4th of July I asked what time he would have it done and that we didn't want to have to drive down there to find out it was not done. He gave the part back to me and said that he could not do the work because he was only a 2 man shop and couldn't have it done on time. This was the WORST customer service EVER, and I'd hate to see the work he does then. I would highly recommend staying away from this place. read more
